COVID-19 Prediction Infrastructure Using Deep Learning
Coronavirus can lead to respiratory illnesses ranging from mild to severe, and even death, which makes early detection critical. However, current COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) detection methods are not only expensive but also time-consuming. This poses a challenge, especially with an increasing number of patients and demand for testing kits. Waiting for test results for a few days is not ideal, as the outbreak can spread quickly in the meantime. To address this issue, we propose a COVID-19 prediction infrastructure using deep learning. This innovative android-based application uses a Convolutional Neural Network model, trained on a custom dataset with an accuracy of 97 percent, to predict whether COVID-19 is present or not. With this fast and low-cost approach, users can quickly detect COVID-19 and take appropriate actions to reduce the risk of transmission
Comparative Analysis of Public Perception of Intention to Buy in Online Marketing and Offline Marketing (Study at Naqi Collection Ajamu Store)
The purpose of this study was to find out how the marketing strategy was carried out by the Naqi Collection Ajamu Shoe Store and to compare consumer buying interest in online marketing and offline marketing. Researchers used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires which were distributed to consumers who had shopped at the Ajamu Naqi Collection Store. Data analysis techniques in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that offline marketing is more effective than online marketing, consumers are more interested in shopping directly at stores than ordering online. Online marketing run by Naqi Collection Ajamu Shop is not enough to attract consumers, because it posts pictures without accompanying them with clear specifications, this certainly raises doubts for consumers to make purchases online. Whereas in offline marketing, Naqi Collection Ajamu Shop is quite good, in terms of service and quality of goods to achieve customer satisfaction in making offline purchases
Power Factor Improvement in Regional Distribution Feeders with Optimal Allocation of Distributed Generators and Shunt Capacitors
This paper critically assesses power factor (pf) compensation techniques for the regional distribution feeders, focusing on Distributed Generators (DGs) and shunt capacitors. Therefore, the research aims to identify the potential of distribution networks to maximize efficiency by combining the Backward Forward Sweep (BFS) with the Sea Horse Optimization (SHO) algorithm. Through extensive testing using Torrit software and the MATPOWER toolbox, the study primarily focuses on two scenarios: one type of the DGs known as type 2 DGs, which only injects the reactive power. One of the scenarios includes Q as a shunt capacitance, while the second model represents type 3 DGs that supply both active power (P) and reactive power (Q). The type 2 DG deployment reduces the reactive power loss in the network. On the other hand, the use of type 3 DGs leads to a significant enhancement of pf as well as enhancement of the voltage profile. Most notably, coordinating type 3 DGs with shunt capacitors reveals that they work well hand in hand, contributing to better network improvement. This study offers a specific analysis of DGs deployment for utility operators and presents a roadmap for aiding their decision-making process in efficiently analyzing power systems' optimization

MRI findings in methanol intoxication: a report of three cases
Methanol is a highly toxic substance and acute methanol poisoning produces severe metabolic acidosis and serious neurological symptoms, including severe visual impairment, extrapyramidal signs and coma. We present three cases of accidental methanol intoxication and discuss the MRI findings
SQL injection detection and exploitation framework for penetration testing
SQL injection is one of the complex and threatening attack used against SQL database servers and web applications. Attackers use SQL injection to get unauthorized access and perform unauthorized data modification. To mitigate the devastating problem of SQL injection attack, there are many existing tools and methods for detection and prevention. Due to the rapid SQL injection growth in recent years, the SQL injection security approaches have been experiencing a paradigm shift from the strenuous manual analysis, signature-based approach to a data-driven, machine learning-based dynamic approach.
This research has provided a comprehensive analysis of SQL injection and literature review of the existing SQL injection security methods. The thesis presents a novel semi-automated SQL injection detection and exploitation (IDE) solution using constructive method by combining machine learning and advance Python computation
Naeglaeria infection of the central nervous system, CT scan findings: a case series
The imaging findings in four cases of a rare infection of the central nervous system caused by amoebae, Naeglaeria fowleri are presented. Naeglaeria fowleri are pathogenic free-living amoebae. They cause primary amoebic meningoencephalitis (PAM), a rapidly fatal disease of the central nervous system. The computed tomography brain findings in 3 (75%) of our cases of pan amoebic meningoencephalitis showed non-specific brain oedema; 2 (66%) of these cases also had moderate hydrocephalus and among that 1 (50%) case showed an old lacunar infarction in peri-ventricular region. In the remaining 1 (25%) case the scan was normal with no evidence of oedema or abnormal lesion. Out of three cases with diffuse brain oedema, postcontrast images showed abnormal meningeal enhancement throughout the brain parenchyma in 1 (33%) case. However, no definite focal enhancing lesion was noted. In the rest of the cases, no abnormal parenchymal or meningeal enhancement was seen on post-contrast images
