    Each teacher certainly has a strategy, approach and especially regarding learning resources by utilizing the surrounding environment, for example objects in the Sultan Suriansyah museum, which can be used as social studies learning resources. Learning resources are not only limited to textbooks but also from local history, local culture and the surrounding environment. In this discussion, the research used uses literature review research by looking for theoretical references that are relevant to the case or problem found and supported by secondary data through documentation by the researcher. The objects in the Sultan Suriansyah Museum can be used as potential learning resources, especially Social Studies Learning because there are related to history - history and cultural culture related to relics from the Islamic Kingdom during the Banjar Sultanate. This is of course clearly related to the social studies material in 7th grade junior high school regarding the material on the theme of Indonesian Community Life in the Pre-literate Period, Hindu Buddhism, and Islam in which there are sub-themes of the spread of Islam in Indonesia and the forms of culture therein. So that this becomes a reference as a place for social studies laboratory learning in order to improve attitudes, knowledge, skills and also to achieve the objectives of social studies learning. So, it can be used as a Social Studies Learning Resource
