Islam has not only fulfilled the basic rights and duties of human beings but has also provided for their protection, the concept of Islam regarding basic human rights is that every person should get his basic rights without his demand, that is, man does not need to knock on the door of the ruler of time for his basic needs, but it is the responsibility of the state. That he should inform every citizen and fulfill his needs. When in a welfare state, the ruler fulfills the requirements of justice and justice and every person has his basic rights and needs without his demand, then one needs to take to the streets to meet his demands and get the basic necessities, neither to block the road, nor to sit on a sit-in or hunger strike, so such a state should progress and prosper. Following the path of a truly Islamic welfare state, it presents a map of a truly Islamic welfare state. But in a society where attempts are made to suppress the fundamental rights of human beings, it is natural to react to the protection of one's rights, because it is inherent in man's nature to protest for his right, as soon as the child is born, he protests for his right and cries for milk. Islam also gives the right to demand one's legitimate rights within the limits of Sharia, and in addition, it is obligatory to raise voice for various purposes and to prevent disbelievers. In the present democratic system, for this purpose, people resort to the prevailing protests and organize demonstrations, processions and sit-ins to meet their demands and convey their point to the Upper House, these prevalent protests and its forms are the soul of democracy. turning. The paper discusses the concept and scope of protest in Islam, trying to find out whether there have been protests in the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) era and what are the examples of protest in this period

Observing the COVID-19 pandemic SOPs and sales performance: Evidence from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan

The quick emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic has shaken the foundations of the world's economy. Notably, women entrepreneurs were significantly in danger of income and sales due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has had significant economic and social impacts. This study examines the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on women entrepreneurs’ sales performance, engaged in home-based activities. The chi-square test of association and linear probability model with interactions were applied to analyze the data collected using a questionnaire from 672 women entrepreneurs. Generally, cloth and cosmetics entrepreneurs reported an increase in sales. However, following the COVID-19 pandemic SOPs negatively affected women's entrepreneurial sales performance. Variations in findings were observed by testing the interaction and heterogeneous effects. The household contextual analysis is crucial for understanding the dynamics of women home-based entrepreneurs in the family and cultural context as they reported an increase in sales volume. The study's findings point to the adaptability, resilience, and multiplier effects of women entrepreneurs who faced economic, sociocultural, and institutional restraints encountered during the uncertain period of the COVID-19 pandemic

AI-Driven Banking: Advertising, Brand Loyalty, Trust and Customer Experience

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has transformed advertising by allowing brands to interact with customers on a real-time personalised basis. It enables real-time data-driven targeting and automated decision making. In the Pakistan banking industry, AI-driven advertising's impact on brand loyalty, as well as the mediation of customer experience and the moderation of trust in AI, were studied in this study. Drawing from the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) model and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the study examines how the introduction of AI technology triggers consumer behavior through an emotional and cognitive lens. A structured questionnaire having pre-standardized scales has been employed for quantitative study. The study collected data from 350 consumers who regularly use AI-based banking services. Statistical analyses of regression, mediation, and moderation were performed to study the interrelations of the variables. The findings diverge from much of the existing literature that supports AI’s personalization capabilities as a driver of loyalty. Possible explanations include cognitive dissonance when expectations from AI ads are unmet, lack of emotional resonance, consumer resistance due to privacy concerns, and the multi-dimensional nature of brand loyalty. These results suggest that while AI may create initial engagement, it lacks the depth required to foster lasting loyalty, especially when perceived as impersonal or misaligned with consumer expectations. The study confirmed that trust in AI significantly moderates the relationship between AI advertising and customer experience; however, the moderation effect was negative, meaning higher trust reduced the positive effect of AI on experience. This contradiction can be explained through expectation-disconfirmation theory, where consumers with low trust are more easily impressed, while high-trust consumers face disappointment if AI performance doesn't meet their elevated expectation

Background: Disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs) used for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) have steady onset and multiple adverse effects. The objective was to evaluate the effects of ethanolic extract of Solanum nigrum (SN) on methotrexate-associated hepatotoxicity and pancytopenia in Complete Freund’s adjuvant (CFA)-induced arthritic rats. Methods: 30 male Wistar albino rats were used in a 4-week pre-clinical experimental study conducted at Ziauddin University Karachi from November 2021 to December 2021. Animals were divided into 5 groups; Group-I Negative control (0.9% normal saline), Group-II positive control (0.9% normal saline), Group-III Standard (Methotrexate 1.5mg/kg), Group-IV (SN 100mg/kg), Group-V (SN 200mg/kg). To develop arthritis, 0.1mL of CFA was administered intraarticularly in the right knee joints of all groups except Group-I at day 0. For euthanasia, 100mg/kg pentobarbital was injected intraperitoneally in all animals on the 29th day. 10ml of blood was collected in vacutainer tubes for CBC and LFT. SPSS was used to analyze the results and ANOVA was applied for intergroup and intragroup comparisons. A P-value less than 0.05 was considered significant at a 95% confidence interval. Results: Diseased controls increased WBCs but Group III, IV, and V considerably decreased WBCs. Group III also caused suppression in RBCs and hemoglobin levels. SN showed a significant decrease in WBCs but it did not suppress RBCs, hemoglobin, and platelet levels. MTX significantly increased total bilirubin, direct bilirubin, SGPT, and alkaline phosphate. Contrary to this, SN did not significantly increase liver enzymes when compared with the negative controls. Conclusion: Unlike methotrexate, ethanolic extract of SN improved the hematological and liver profile

Objective: To study the etiology, diagnosis, treatment and complications of acute pancreatitis in a tertiary care hospital.  Methodology: Study Design: It was a descriptive study. The study was conducted at Surgical Unit of Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH) Rawalpindi from 1st January 2014 to 31 July 2017.  All the patients who presented in emergency with abdominal symptoms and diagnosed as a case of acute pancreatitis were included in the study. All the data of gender, age, serum amylase & lipase, etiology, CT severity index, Ranson’s criteria, complications, mortality and management were noted on a predesigned proforma. Percentages and frequencies were calculated for all the data by SPSS 21 version. Results: Total 161 patients were included in the study, with 60.9% females and 39.1% males. Maximum patients 31% were from age group of 26 to 40  years of age and minimum 1.2% from 71 to 85 years. Gall stones were the major cause of the disease contributing 67% of cases.  At admission Ranson’s score of the maximum patients 32.2% had total score of 1, While only 1.2% had moderate pancreatitis.  After 48 hours of admission 24.2% had 2 score while only 1.2%had severe pancreatitis.  The radiological CT severity index 82.6% patients had mild pancreatitis while1.2% patients had severe disease. 93.1% patients were managed conservatively, 1.9%  patients went Cystogastrostomy, 1.2% patients needed Exploratory laparotomy and  1.2% patients went for Pancreatic Necrosectomy.  On calculating the morbidity 67.7% patients had no significant morbidity. 32.3% had complications including pleural effusion, ascites, pancreatic necrosis, pseudo cyst formation, shock, acute renal failure and multi organ failure.  Overall mortality rate was  3.7%. Conclusion: Acute pancreatitis in our set up is mainly due to gall stones. A multidisciplinary approach, measurement of severity of disease with computerized tomography scan and Ranson’s scoring system is always helpful in disease management and its complications. Key Words : Acute pancreatitis, Gall stones, Ranson’s scoring, Pancreatic necrosis, Pseudocyst

Wire coating process is a continuous extrusion process for primary insulation of conducting wires with molten polymers for mechanical strength and protection in aggressive environments. Nylon, polysulfide, low/high density polyethylene (LDPE/HDPE) and plastic polyvinyl chloride (PVC) are the common and important plastic resin used for wire coating. In the current study, wire coating is performed using viscoelastic third grade fluid in the presence of applied magnetic field and porous medium. The governing equations are first modeled and then solved analytically by utilizing the homotopy analysis method (HAM). The convergence of the series solution is established. A numerical technique called ND-solve method is used for comparison and found good agreement. The effect of pertinent parameters on the velocity field and temperature profile is shown with the help of graphs. It is observed that the velocity profiles increase as the value of viscoelastic third grade parameter β increase and decrease as the magnetic parameter M and permeability parameter K increase. It is also observed that the temperature profiles increases as the Brinkman number B r , permeability parameter K , magnetic parameter M and viscoelastic third grade parameter (non-Newtonian parameter) β increase
