Mobilizing UiTM Kuala Terengganu classroom reservation / Muhammad Azizi Maktar
Classroom reservations are usually conducted for replacement class or certain event. A classroom reservation system is procedure which has been used widely in academic institution to help management side to manage the reservation. This system is developed for solving the problem that occurs while wants to book the class. The problems are the current web based system does not allow the lecturers to reserve the classes on their own since it is only accessible for the administration. Others problem is desktop or mobile websites, on the other hand, must be accessed via desktop or mobile browsers, and generally take longer to load, which can be irritating for users. The aim of application are developed are to solve that all problem which is to allow the users to reserve the classes on their own. The methods that will use for develop this application are by using mobile application for the platform and the database that will apply in this application is a Private Cloud which is using Platform as a service (PaaS). The finding shows that PaaS is a category of cloud computing services that provides a platform allowing customers to develop, run, and manage applications without the complexity of building and maintaining the infrastructure like a physical server and typically associated with developing and launching an app. For the future work, every classroom will set to the Global Positioning System (GPS) location for more easily to the user to navigate to find the classroom. The users also can view the image of the classroom before make a reservation either that classroom suitable or not. Lastly, user will get the notification when admin sent status of the booking
Development of radio-controlled (RC) lawn mower / Muhammad Azizi Abd Aziz
Nowadays, the multiple development and technologies in the area of engineering is always make people’s daily life easier. However, there are concerns in the convenience of lawn mowing facilities. In the present, peoples still using manual lawn mower that sold in the market which leads to many problems to the user. Currently, mowing the lawn can be so tiring and consume a bunch of time which can be physically restrictive, particularly for people with limited mobility. Through this project, it will help user to lawn mowing just using controller. It will solve a lot of problem that users are facing nowadays
Mari belajar Arab application using game-based learning / Muhammad Azizi Shahril
The purpose of this project invention was to design and develop Mari Belajar Arab Application which is an enjoyable mobile game application at doing Arabic knowledge drills in Arabic subject for primary school students. The ADDIE method was implemented to design and develop the Mari Belajar Arab Application which is comprises of five phases that need to be completed by sequence which are analysis phase, design phase, development phase, implementation phase and evaluation phase. The findings suggest the combination of the gaming element with Game-Based Learning element can give enjoyment to student in learning Arabic language
Face shape recognition for hairstyle recommendation using MATLAB / Muhammad Azizi Nordin
Nowadays, hairstyle is one of the fashions that can bring the image of the face and whole attire. One of way to choose a suitable hairstyle is by considering the shape of the face. If the hairstyle been form perfectly but does not suitable with the face shape still could make a terrible image. Based on observation, 61 percent of people did not know their own face shape. This project is built to help the user to find the face shape by applying modern technology which is image processing. This project also provides suggestion of suitable hairstyle base on the face shape. The technique will be used is Canny edge detection and the platform will be MATLAB. The technique is chosen because of its accuracy in detecting the edge of image than using other techniques which are Sobel, Prewitt and Robert. Development method that suitable for this research project which has six phases is agile method because of its flexibility in developing a project. The focus in this technique is the Edge detection which needed to find the image information to determine the shape of the face. As a conclusion, this research would give some benefits in image processing area. Other researchers can make some enhancement in the future in order to improve this research. The system can be improved by better input and output of the project and also develop for mobile application for the future work
SPMC - study of passive filter for application on the SPMC operate as AC chopper: article / Muhammad Azizi Mohd Selam
This paper present application of single phase matrix converter (SPMC) as AC chopper by using different type passive filter design. MATLAB/simulink 7 will be use to develop the simulation model of the SPMC without and with filter and to study the behavior of the proposed converter. Sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM) is used for a wave technique. Safe commutation was developed to avoid voltage spikes. To avoid this kind of problem, filter design represented by low pass RC filter and LC filter. Results of simulation are presented to verify the proposed technique is feasible
Study of passive filter for application on the single-phase matrix converter (SPMC) operate as AC chopper / Muhammad Azizi Mohd Selam
This paper presents the application of single phase matrix converter (SPMC) as AC chopper by using different type passive filter designs. MATLAB/simulink will be use to develop the simulation model of the SPMC without and with filter and to study the behavior of the proposed converter. Sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM) is used for a switching technique. Safe commutation was developed to avoid voltage spikes. To avoid this kind of problem, filter design represented by low pass RL filter and LC filter. Results of simulation are presented to verify the proposed technique is feasible. The circuit is fed from 50V (rms) and 50Hz supplying a passive R load
Automatic medicine distributor / Zaty Amanina Zailaludin, Muhammad Azizi Che Rashid and Muhammad Muzammel Ahmad
This project is aimed to develop an Automatic Medicine Distributor which aimed to remind patient at home to take medicine or supplement on time. Automatic Medicine Distributor is used at home to remind people especially some people tend to forget to on take their medicine and this will affect on their health. This project consists of a Servo motor that control by Arduino controller. The first circuit is used to control the number of pills or supplements by time and the second one is to control the motor.
The Automatic Medicine Distributor is equipped with alarm system which is when the medicines or supplements are not taken from the small plate, the alarm will trigger until the medicines or supplements are taken. If the users don’t want to use the device, they can simply switch off the main switch. Therefore, this Automatic Medicine Distributor will help the people to take their medicine on time
A study of the usage of uses and gratification and also narcissism in social media to influence student engagement / Muhammad Azizi Yusri
This study focuses on the usage of uses and gratification and also narcissism in social media that can influence student engagement. Data were gathered from a non-probability sample of 127 respondents through online tools, Google Form. Factor analysis result shown that uses and gratification is supported by few elements such as past-time, affection, fashion and sociability while narcissism is supported by authority/superior, exhibitionism, exploitativeness and vanity. In particular, people who used social media has their own need and self-satisfaction. In contrast, both uses and gratification and narcissism have their own role to engage with the student involvement. There is issue regarding these variables as they argue the function of these platforms to these users since all of them has their same commons. Throughout this study, it stated that uses and gratification is strongly correlated with the student engagement compared to narcissism. This paper includes a discussion of the study throughout the result finding and also the conclusion and recommendation for future research
