Nak Wangi Tak company was established by a freshly graduate student who is interested in business. Business is one of the areas that offers great opportunities to some communities to increase their monthly income in meeting daily needs. This established company has been conducted online only to make it easier for buyers to rush to get the product for sale. The operators of this company choose products produced by the well-known perfume company in Malaysia, namely De’Xandra. Entrepreneurs conduct business as agents by buying products in bulk and it is obtained at the price of members registered as agents in the company. De’Xandra Company is a company that operates a perfume business. The company was first established a few years ago by producing only three types of perfumes. In the first year of business, the company began to improve their perfume products where they produced perfumes based on the smell of coffee. At the beginning of the launch of the new fragrance, many said that the sale of coffee-based perfume was something that did not make sense because at that time there were still no perfume operators producing coffee fragrances. De’xandra has been the first entrepreneur to introduce coffee-based perfumes that have given a freshness and fragrance just like in a café. To date, the company De’Xandra has produced a wide range of fragrances and products. Next, for the Nak wangi tak company founded by a young entrepreneur, he took a bold step in running a business in an organization consisting of two employees. All the tasks that need to be done to ensure the business runs smoothly has been done by him himself. During the period of operation, this developed company has met many demands from customers who want a long-lasting fragrance. The company also has a monthly target in business where each of these targets will be exposed to different promotional methods

Solving unit commitment problem by using particle swarm optimization technique / Muhammad Aqil Ab Rahman

This paper proposed one of the Evolutionary Computation (EC) components which is Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) in solving a problem of unit commitment (UC). In fact, one of the common problems in electrical power system is unit commitment (UC) which is complicated decision making for a various constraints and may affect the economical scheduling of units. Basically, the unit commitment problems involve scheduling on/off states of generating units, which minimizes the operating cost, start-up cost and shut-down cost as mentioned for various operating constraints. So, the objective of this study is to analyze and search for the UC schedule which generates minimum operational cost by using 10 generators. This system had been tested in satisfying the total output with load demand which is divided into number of small intervals of 24 hours. By using programming method, the problem of UC has been solved efficiently by a lot of discussion on PSO technique based on IEE Transaction on Power System data. Therefore, the optimal time and losses can be minimized which may affect the total cost operating by determining which and how many units should be operate in one time to meet a required load demand while satisfying specified operating criteria in order to reach an economic operation

Industrial training is a requirement for my Finance program at Faculty of Business and Administration in Universiti Teknologi MARA. I have completed my 24 weeks/6 months long internship program at OCBC Bank Malaysia Berhad. All the time I spend at my company is very valuable as the experiences I get will help to have better chance to join the industry after I graduate. This report will include all of the tasks and assignments that I have completed. I was assigned into Trade Finance Department during the internship which has help me a lot as I was able to gain new knowledges and also enhance my skills in the company. Throughout my work during the internship I was able to learn on the general knowledge of trade finance and how the banking system operates. I was also exposes with the career path by the top management as they share their experiences on the industry. I also able to learn new skills such as data analysis and risk management which, before this I have very little knowledge of at the place. From my observation the company has a very efficient standard operating procedure (SOP) and is highly adaptable to situation. For example during the implementation of the MCO the department is very fast in getting all the necessary documents needed for the workers. I also able to enhance my soft skills as the company have sharing session where the interns need to speak and communicate with the speakers and the top management. The internship also give me professional experiences on the culture and also the environment of the banking industry. Overall my experiences for the internship are very pleasant as I have a very supportive and caring supervisor and also friendly colleagues. It is my honor to recommend for future undergraduates to apply for the internship at OCBC Bank Malaysia Berhad

Design and fabrication of automatic flour filter / Muhammad Aqil Fahmy Reduan

The "Design and Fabrication of an Automatic Flour Filter" project is focused on developing a machine that will reduce the amount of power needed to filter flour, which is used in many kitchen operations. Due to the strainer's small surface area, the filtering process must be repeated until all of the flour is filtered, inspiring this project's conception among those working in food-related SMEs. Filtering the flour takes a significant amount of time. The goals of this project, on the other hand, are to develop an automatic flour filter using the “SolidWorks” software, fabricate a flour filter, and study how the strainer is rotated using the power window. The strainer in this product can be moved horizontally due to a power window coupled to a circular plate. Additionally, a converter is included for switching between DC and AC power. This project uses the mechanical engineering principle of power window rotation. At the end of the course, this project is able to design an automatic flour filter, fabricate this flour filter, and then analyze the motor's rotation as it moves the straine

Electronic Sport Malaysia (eSM) is the governing body of eSport in Malaysia. eSM are having problem in monitoring their client activities. eSM’s clients are players and tournament organizers. eSM does not manage a tournament instead sanction it to a tournament organizer. eSM need to monitor the results of each tournament. eSM also need to distribute points to the player based on the achievements on a tournament Therefore, an automated tournament management system, is proposed to aid them with managing and monitor their client’s activities and achievements. The developed proposed system is named Colosseum Tournament Management System (CTMS). The project implements Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology. There are a total of 5 phases in RAD, initial planning, requirement planning, user design, construction and cutover. Actives such as observation, interview and questionnaire has been done to gather the requirements for developing the system. CTMS are embedded with dynamic match making using genetic algorithm that can pairs players based on variation combination of criteria such as player’s gender, points and nation. The algorithm enables tournament organizer to pairs players that can ensure excitement to the viewer and players. The project produces a numbers of prototypes, Software Requirement Specification (SRS) and System Design Document (SDD). The developed CTMS has been demonstrated to the eSM and has gone through an evaluation and validation

The Facility Management Office has experienced several phases of transformation throughout its history. It was first established in 1972 as the Office of Local Engineers, before evolving into the Department of Development and Maintenance in 1982. By 1994, it became the Office of Development and Maintenance. On September 15, 1995, recognizing the expanding responsibilities of both the Development and Maintenance Offices, they were reorganized and placed under the Chancellor's Office as separate entities to better manage their growing roles. The declaration of UITM as MARA Technology University in August 1999 further expanded the Maintenance Office's scope, aligning it more closely with the university's broader development efforts. In alignment with the vision of MARA University of Technology to achieve world-class recognition as a public institution, the Maintenance Office underwent a major restructuring and rebranding on January 4, 2006, becoming the Office of Facility Management. At the Permatang Pauh Campus, the Facility Management Office is divided into several specialized units, including the Administrative, Council, Project, Public, Electrical, and Mechanical units

From the project design works that have been conducted for this double storey house, I able to draw the structural key plan of ground floor, first floor and roof floor from the architectural drawing. Next, the project schedule were listed all the project activities and the time frame of the project. Next, the soil report which is SI report that have been got from other company, I able to know and calculate the soil bearing to connect with the calculation of design pad footing. Furthermore, I can know how design the main structure using manual calculation. For manual calculation, it must use the steps given such as first need to assume the suitable size for the main structure, then, calculate the main reinforcement, shear reinforcement, deflection and cracking. Other than that, I know how to use Prokon based on the manual design calculation by transfer the initial data to the software. Furthermore, I know how to rate the material after calculate the weight of material used in every main structure in taking off sheet by using some online references. From the other side, I have experienced fail in design the main structure at the deflection but it is easy to overcome by switching the suitable size of diameter bar or link spacing. Finally for the upcoming years, I able to use all the knowledge of design works adapt with the real project construction. It teach a lot or built more knowledge to determine the problem and handle it professionally in design works. Once the design fail at deflection or cracking it not effect other work, I able to know how to change the material such as suitable diameter or link and spacing until it not fail
