Universitas Negeri Malang.   Kata Kunci : Buku Ajar, Belajar dan Pembelajaran, Matakuliah Belajar dan Pembelajaran merupakan matakuliah wajib yang ditempuh oleh mahasiswa S1 Pendidikan Teknik Informatika, Jurusan Teknik Elektro di Universitas Negeri Malang. Buku ajar yang digunakan belum sesuai dengan matakuliah Belajar dan Pembelajaran. Buku yang tersedia tidak memiliki ketentuan-ketentuan yang khusus yang terkait dengan pembelajaran mahasiswa. Selain itu, mahasiswa kesulitan mendapatkan buku yang cocok dengan materi perkuliahan Belajar dan Pembelajaran. Pada proses pembelajaran di matakuliah Belajar dan Pembelajaran, dosen menggunakan beberapa buku referensi yang digunakan, sehingga dosen memiliki berbagai macam buku yang berbeda. Tujuan dari pengembangan Buku Ajar ini antara lain: (1) Membuat buku ajar matakuliah Belajar dan Pembelajaran untuk Prodi S1 Pendidikan Teknik Informatika Jurusan Teknik Elektro di Universitas Negeri Malang; (2) Mengetahui buku ajar matakuliah Belajar dan Pembelajaran untuk Prodi S1 Pendidikan Teknik Informatika Jurusan Teknik Elektro di Universitas Negeri Malang. Model pengembangan buku ajar ini menggunakan model pengembangan Sugiyono dengan tahapan pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Alasan menggunakan model R&D dalam pengembangan buku ajar ini karena tahapan-tahapan yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu dan menguji keefektifan produk tersebut (Sugiyono, 2011:297). Dengan demikian, model pengembangan R&D memuat tahapan pengembangan yang rinci dan sistematik untuk memudahkan validasi kelayakan suatu produk yang dikembangkan. Terdapat 10 (sepuluh) langkah yang akan dilalui, antara lain: (1) Potensi & Masalah; (2) Pengumpulan Informasi; (3) Desain Produk dan Materi; (4) Validasi Desain dan Materi; (5) Revisi Desain; (6) Uji Coba Produk; (7) Revisi Produk; (8) Uji Coba Produk; (9) Revisi Produk; (10) Produksi Masal. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket yang ditujukan kepada ahli media, ahli materi, dan pengguna. Berdasarkan hasil uji kelayakan yang dilakukan, didapatkan data akhir sebesar 87,5% untuk validasi ahli media, 85,6% untuk validasi ahli materi, 76,125% untuk uji coba kelompok kecil dan 83,79% untuk uji coba kelompok lapangan. Rata-rata presentase uji coba adalah 83,25% . Dari hasil tersebut dapat dinyatakan bahwa Buku Ajar ini sudah valid dan tidak perlu revisi sesuai dengan pedoman kriteria tingkat kelayakan serta layak digunakan. Kesimpulan pengembangan ini sebagai berikut: (1) Buku Ajar ini telah memenuhi kriteria valid dan layak setelah melalui tahap validasi ahli media dan ahli materi serta tahapan uji coba; (2) Keunggulan buku ajar ini terletak pada kesediaan peta konsep, tujuan pembelajaran, rangkuman dan soal evaluasi; (3) Buku ajar ini dapat menjadi alternatif atau buku pegangan ketika matakuliah Belajar dan Pembelajara

    PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF MATEMATIS SERTA SELF-EFFICACY SISWA SMP MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH BERBANTUAN GEOGEBRA

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan self-efficacy matematis siswa SMP melalui pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan geogebra. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian berbentuk pretes-postes dengan kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII di salah satu SMP Negeri di Brebes sebanyak dua kelas. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan angket berbentuk skala likert untuk self-efficacy matematis siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) Berdasarkan keseluruhan, peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan geogebra lebih tinggi secara signifikan daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. (2) Berdasarkan KMA (tinggi, sedang, rendah), peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan geogebra lebih tinggi secara signifikan daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. (3) self-efficacy matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan geogebra lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Kata Kunci :Berpikir Kreatif Matematis, Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah, Geogebra, Self-efficacy The purpose of the study is to analyze the improvement of creative thinking and self-efficacy of junior high school students through problem based learning aided geogebra. The approach of this research is quantitative by using the quasi-experimental method. The research design is pretest-posttest with experimental and control class. The subjects of this study were seventh-grade students in one of the junior high schools in Brebes as many as two class. The research data was obtained using a test of creative and questionnaires in the form of a Likert scale for students' mathematical self-efficacy. The results of the study show that; (1) based on overall, the improvement of students’ mathematical creative thinking who obtain through problem based learning aided geogebra is significantly higher than students who obtain conventional learning. (2) Based on the initial mathematical abilities (low, medium and high), the improvement of students’ mathematical creative thinking who obtain through problem based learning aided geogebra is significantly higher than students who obtain conventional learning. (3) Students’ mathematical self-efficacy who obtained problem based learning aided geogebra are better than students who obtained conventional learning

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods

    We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
