Ghayat al-amani and the life and times of al-Hadi Yahya b. al-Husayn: an introduction, newly edited text and translation with detailed annotation
The thesis is anchored upon a text extracted from an important 11th / 17th century Yemeni historical work. This text deals primarily with al-Hādī ilā 'I-Haqq, the founder of the Zaydī Imamate in the Yemen that lasted well over a thousand years. AI-Hādīs imamate, of considerable significance in itself, also coincides with one of the most turbulent periods of early Yemeni mediaeval history. The- edited Arabic text, with its accompanying apparatus criticus. Is to be found at the opposite end of this volume. The Introduction considers various aspects of Imam al-Hadī’s life, religious ideas and aspirations and matters directly connected with the edited text and the work of which it forms a part. Among the most important subjects discussed are the MSS used in the production of the edited text, the problem concerning the authorship of Ghāyat al-amānī and the relationship of the latter work to Anbā' al-zaman. A short biography of al-Hādī is provided, together with a treatment of the historical background to ai-Hādīs imamate. The introduction also describes the editorial method followed with regard to the text, and certain key personal names and toponyms are dealt with there. The method employed by the author of the Ghāyat is to record the events of any one year by Itself. I have translated one year at a time and then followed it by the annotations appertaining to it. It is hoped that by means of these annotations. (some of which through necessity are quite detailed ), the text will be better understood. The numerous personages, tribal names and toponyms are considered, as well as problems concerning points of chronology and various matters of historical and religious significance. Specific comment is made upon certain interesting terms or any unusual or striking vocabulary. The thesis concludes with maps, genealogical tables and a comprehensive bibliography

Polemik Penggunaan Hadis Ahad Dalam Menafsirkan Kewafatan Nabi Isa Menurut Mahmud Syaltut
Dan Siradjuddin Abbas. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas beberapa perbedaan antara Mahmud Shaltut
dan Siradjuddin Abbas dalam menafsirkan ayat-ayat tentang wafatnya Nabi Isa. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk
mengungkapkan bagaimana mereka menginterpretasikan, metode apa yang mereka gunakan, dan faktor-faktor
apa yang mempengaruhi perbedaan tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa Mahmud Shaltut
menafsirkan istilah tawaffa (Q.S. Imrân [3] ayat 55) dan tawaffaitanî (Q.S. al-Maidah [5] ayat 117) sesuai dengan
makna asli, yaitu “wafat”. Sebaliknya, Siradjuddin Abbas menafsirkan istilah tawaffa dengan “menggenggam”.
Perbedaan-perbedaan ini disebabkan karena Siradjuddin Abbas menggunakan metode tafsir bi al-riwayah dan
memahaminya dengan hadis-hadis sahih. Sedangkan Mahmud Syaltut menggunakan metode tafsir bi al-ra’yi
dan tidak menggunakan hadis.Sebagai tokoh reformis di Mesir, penafsiran Mahmud Syaltut dipengaruhi oleh
pendapat Muhammad Abduh yang menolak penggunaan hadis ahad dalam pembahasan keyakinan/ akidah.
Sementara Siradjuddin Abbas, sebagai tokoh Islam tradisional di Indonesia, berupaya menolak pemikiran
Muhammad Abduh karena itu bertentangan dengan paham ahl al-sunnah wa al-jamaah yang dia ikuti
USAF-IoD: ultralightweight and secure authenticated key agreement framework for internet of drones environment
The use of Internet of Drones (IoD) technology has surged across various domains such as logistics, surveying, industrial inspections, emergency response, security, infrastructure monitoring, crop management, and more. However, realtime communication with drones or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) in the IoD environment occurs over an insecure open channel, making it susceptible to various security and privacy vulnerabilities, including unauthorized access, data interception, denial of service attacks, and privacy concerns. Due to their unique characteristics, including long transmission distances, unstable communication environments, resource limitations, and the highly dynamic nature of UAVs, ensuring the security and privacy of IoD systems is of paramount importance for the success of IoD-based applications. Furthermore, drones are resourceconstrained devices, and employing expensive security solutions is impractical, as it would significantly reduce the operational capacity of drones. In this paper, we present the design of an ultralightweight, secure, and robust user-authenticated key agreement framework for the IoD environment, named USAF-IoD. The proposed USAF-IoD is developed by incorporating authenticated encryption (ASCON), cryptographic hashing, XOR operations, and the use of physical unclonable functions (PUFs). PUFs are employed to enhance resistance against physical tampering attacks. The security analysis reveals that the proposed USAF-IoD meets the essential security requirements of the IoD environment. The comparative analysis further highlights the effectiveness of the proposed USAF-IoD, notably excelling in terms of security and functionality characteristics when compared to existing benchmark schemes, and showcasing competitive performance in computation, communication, and energy overheads
AAKE-BIVT: Anonymous authenticated key exchange scheme for blockchain-enabled internet of vehicles in smart transportation
The next-generation Internet of vehicles (IoVs) seamlessly connects humans, vehicles, roadside units (RSUs), and service platforms, to improve road safety, enhance transit efficiency, and deliver comfort while conserving the environment. Currently, numerous entities communicate in the IoVs environment via insecure public channels that are susceptible to a variety of security assaults and threats. To address these security challenges, we design an anonymous authenticated key exchange mechanism for the IoVs in smart transportation supported by blockchain, referred to as AAKE-BIVT. AAKE-BIVT securely transmits traffic information to a cluster head, before heading to a nearby RSU utilizing the established secret session keys via mutual authentication and key agreement. A cloud server (CS) then securely aggregates data from related RSUs and generates transactions. The CS combines the transactions into blocks in a peer-to-peer network of CSs, and the blocks are confirmed and added to the blockchain via a voting-based consensus method. By means of rigorous informal security studies and formal security analysis through the random oracle model, we reveal that the proposed AAKE-BIVT is resistant to a broad range of potential security assaults in the IoVs environment. Furthermore, a comparative study reveals that AAKE-BIVT outperforms existing state-of-the-art techniques, in terms of security and functionality while being more efficient in terms of communication and computation. Additionally, the blockchain simulation validates the implementation viability of our proposed AAKE-BIVT
COVID-19 Prediction Infrastructure Using Deep Learning
Coronavirus can lead to respiratory illnesses ranging from mild to severe, and even death, which makes early detection critical. However, current COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) detection methods are not only expensive but also time-consuming. This poses a challenge, especially with an increasing number of patients and demand for testing kits. Waiting for test results for a few days is not ideal, as the outbreak can spread quickly in the meantime. To address this issue, we propose a COVID-19 prediction infrastructure using deep learning. This innovative android-based application uses a Convolutional Neural Network model, trained on a custom dataset with an accuracy of 97 percent, to predict whether COVID-19 is present or not. With this fast and low-cost approach, users can quickly detect COVID-19 and take appropriate actions to reduce the risk of transmission

My journey into Iqbal’s philosophical world dates back to my high school days. As a young man, I was always on the go searching for something that could elevate my Islamic spirit. From those days to the present moment, I am a person who has a huge interest in topics like; human nature, God, and spirituality. During my teenage days, as a way to quench my thirst on such topics, I used to drop by secondhand bookshops in the city in which I was raised. Recommended by the elders of the shops I visited, I read Maududi (1903-1979), Maryam Jameelah (1934-2012), Hasan al-Banna (1906-1949), Ali Shariati (1933-1977), Muhammad Asad (1900-1992) and a few other famous Muslim scholars
KISAH ASHABUL AIKAH DALAM AL-QUR'AN (Studi Komparatif atas Penafsiran Ibnu Abbas dan Ibnu Kasir)
Kata ashabul al-Aikah disebutkan sebanyak empat kali dalam Al-Qur'an. Secara
bahasa al-Aikah berarti semak belukar. Dan kata tersebut sebenamya memiliki makna
konotasi dari penggunaannya. A,shibul Aikah adalah umat yang hidup pada zaman nabi
Suaib dimana nabi Syu'aib diutus untuk menyampaikan risalah pewahyuan untuk
membimbing umat tersebut dari dekadensi moral dan tipu muslihat dalam berbagai
macam urusan keduniaan. Tetapi nabi Syu'aib tidak dipedulikan dan diacuhkan saja,
sehinggaa azab Allah diberikan pada kaum itu.
Dalam skripsi tersebut tidaklah membahas tentang nabi Syu'aib dari sudut
pandang penulis, tetapi hanya membatasipembahasan dari dua sudut pandang mufassir.
Penulis mengkomparasikan antara dua penafsir yaitu lbnu Abbas (w. 67 H/687 M) dan
Ibnu Kas1r (w. 774 H). Kedua ulama tersebut hidup dalam kurun waktu yang berbeda.
Ibnu Abbas merupakan salah seorang sahabat nabi yang dijuluki Tarjamuna al- Qur'an
karena kepintarannya dalam menafsirkan Al-Qur' an. sedangkan Ibnu Kasir merupakan
salah seorang penafsir dari zaman pertengahan yang mempunyai keilmuaqn luas di
bidang sejarah dan merupakan salah satu mufassir yang sahih dalam tafsir bil ma'siir.
Kedua mufassirini menafsirkan al-Qur'an dengan pendekatan al-asar.
Dari kedua mufassir tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa mereka selalu mengutip hadishadis
ataupun ayat-ayat al-Qur' an dalam menafsirkan suatu teks. Dalam penafsiran
Ibnu Abbas yang berkenaan dengan sejarah ia banyak bertanya kepada ahlul Kitab yang
sudah memeluk agama Islam dan tidak terhadap masalah aqidah. Tafsir Ibnu Abbas
tcrsebut banyak sekali kerancuan dan perdebatan karena bukan langsung ia tulis sendiri
tapi tafsir yang dibukukan melalui riwayat-riwayat yang diterima dari lbnu Abbas.
Maka jalan yang terbaik jalan yang baik dari jalan-jalan menerima tafsir Ibnu Abbas
ialah, jalan Ali Ibnu Abi Talhah.
Begitupun Ibnu kas1r, berkenaan dengan masalah sejarah terkadang ia mengutip
kisah-kisah Israailiat yang hal tersebut menjadi janggal dan kurang diyakini sebagai
suatu kebenaran yang merupakan riwayat-riwayat yang daif. Dari para mufassir,
diyakini bahwa tafsir Ibnu Kas1r juga termasuk salah satu tafsir bil ma 'siir yang
