No full textIn this cases study, an opportunity to learned about a company that produced the similar product that I wanted to create which is like Nikon. The project aim is to highlight on the context which is the main issues problems, the solutions and some related theories. Firstly, a study was done about the Nikon camera technology where it is a basically a standard technology used by the camera sector as well as the, business, company’s industry, and for the marketing strategy that promote their products. The solution to the problem with findings and discussion of the business as well as financial management accomplishment were also been studied. The first problem regarding their product is about their camera AF performance. The Z 7’s autofocus algorithms is just not on the par with those of Nikon DSLRs. Focus in not as decisive but with the camera sometimes hunting in the wrong direction which is long enough that the users may better of simply re-initiating the AF. Meanwhile, the Auto Area AF with the face detection does not always get the right subject and it often mistaken on non-human objects as faces. As for the next problem is that their product is bad in terms of low light AF sensitivity. The Z &’s AF system begins to struggle in a low light environment. It is considerably lacking comparing to the immediate mirrorless peers. In fact, the Z 7 begins to hunt in light levels two of four stops brighter than comparable cameras from other brands. Aside from that, there are few solutions to that problems which is equip the camera with the 3D Tracking Mode. This way the camera can activate as many focus points as needed and it will have a special scene-recognition system that can track subject’s movements more precisely. The next solution is by create a proper flashgun based on the AF assist system. It will make the camera easily to retain the AF performance with les maintenance and advantage in the number of points

No full textThis study reports on the use of Language Learning Strategies by L2 learners in online distance learning environment. When learning, learners will either consciously or unconsciously use language learning strategy (LLS) in order to process new information in their language lesson. In 1990, Oxford comes out with Strategies Inventory of Language Learning (SILL). This inventory has six broad categories: Cognitive, Memory, Affective, Meta- cognitive, Compensatory, and Social strategies. Various researches then have been conducted with their focus on LLS in L2 learning. LLS has been found to help learners to achieve better language achievement. While technology keeps on moving forward, it also lays its effects on teaching and learning process. The advent of technology gives L2 learners the opportunity to learn the language in technology-mediated environment. Thus, this study examined the preference of L2 learners in LLS when learning English in online distance environment. 78 respondents were involved in this study and questionnaires were given as the research instrument. Result shows that in term of LLS preference, learners used more Compensation strategy when learning English online. There is also a significant difference between male and female learners in term of LLS use. Female used more LLS as compared to male. Female learners preferred to use Metacognitive strategy, while male used Compensation strategy the most. The findings of this study have pedagogical impacts on English teaching and learning process

No full textMy memorable and enlightening 6-month industrial training began here at Gastro Scholar & Ventures. This internship report details my internship period that I have finished in Gastro Scholar & Ventures, which started on March 1st, 2023, and ends August 15th, 2023. The main service that Gastro Scholar & Ventures offer is providing a LEGAL platform for students to carry out consultancy work, supply and provision of food and beverage services. The other service is F&B services which this company will be involved in offering services related to the supply and preparation of food and beverages. Gastro Scholar & Ventures also offer training services related to food and beverage services for the development of competence of staff, students and interested external parties. During the 6 months of industrial training, I had the opportunity to perform tasks and work well guided by my supervisor. I am able to apply some of the knowledge I learned at university and put it into practice at work. I was also placed at Caffeine & Calories (C&C), a brand under Gastro Scholar to do work such as opening the kiosk as early as 8 a.m. and supervising and monitoring sales every day. I also got guidance from 3 UTHM students who are baristas for C&C kiosks on how to operate a business, deal with stock-related sellers and how to promote products to UTHM staff and students. As you will see, the strength of Gastro Scholar & Ventures is their SWOT analysis. In addition, we have business networking with industry players and our company obtains university assistance in terms of knowledge, expertise and facility. The latter are weaknesses, which are insufficient financial resources and unsatisfactory social media initiative which needs to be overcome by Gastro in order to survive in business. Gastro also has several opportunities including business collaboration opportunities with potential strategic partners and franchise potential outside the university area. This research looks for factors that led to poor involvement in Malaysian contribution industry. Questionnaires were distributed to 120 employees of G5-G7 contractors in Johor. With 60% return, the data were analyzed using SPSS version 25 and resulted that low minimum wage local labour being selective in work and work status were the main factors to poor involvement of local labour in Malaysian construction industry

No full textThis report consist of information regarding Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB) and my experience during the internship programs for 24 weeks starting on 1 March 2023 until 15 August 2023. I have included my responsibilities, accountabilities and specific job that required me to put a lot of effort and hardship in the real event of working environment.
I am glad to say that I enjoy my internship program since I have learned a lot of things and have improved my social skills. I was responsible for document preparation, filing, transaction batching, office checklist preparation and customer service.
This report aims to identify and evaluate the Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB) organization performance and current issue by providing the relevant information, supporting details and applying the standard tools of analysis such as SWOT analysis tools. By referring to the SWOT analysis tools, there are two areas that have been emphasized which include the internal factors (Strength and Weaknesses) and external factors (Opportunities and Threat).
I used my personal observation, reading and experiences as my sources to evaluate the Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB). Regarding the internal factors (Strength and Weaknesses), Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad ( ASNB) shows a promising strength where they provided the customers with diversified and low risk investment instrument. However, I cannot deny that there are few areas of weaknesses that need to improvise from time to time such as lack of manpower and outdated technology.
Moreover, Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB) is also exposed to external factors (Opportunities and Threats) that can affect the company performance. The significant opportunities that can help to boost the company performance when there are increasing in fund quota by government and wide range of channel that can be access by customers to do their transaction anywhere. Other than that, Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB) also exposed to threats that slow down the company performance to grow further. This include in low of awareness among Malay community about products and services by Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB) and uncertainty economic growth that can affect the percentage return

No full textCoffee table is a small low table usually placed in front of a sofa for holding
bowls, magazines and others. Nowadays, people were use new raw material
to create, coffee table such as epoxy resin which has some excellent
characteristic that can be used in furniture production. In this study, the
epoxy coffee table with wood disc decoration was designed and produced
by using combination of wood disc from tree branches, epoxy resin and
metal as the main raw material. The use of wood disc in this product was to
reduce the waste from logging activities. After the product has been
produced, the survey was done by distributing a set of online questionnaire
through Google form application that involves 150 respondents including
lectures, staff and students from Faculty of Applied Science UiTM Pahang
campus Jengka. The issues have been analysed such as knowledge, raw
material, design, marketing and satisfaction. Based on the result, most of the
correspondents agreed about suitability of raw material, design of product,
suitable price and the product can be commercialized in the market. Based
on demographic analysis, there was indicated gender, profession, income
and age. For the descriptive analysis results shows that the mean 4.34 for
marketing variable was highest value for the rating score. Next, comparative
analysis results show the gender indicated that male respondents get higher
mean rating for marketing compared to female. For the profession, staff
gave higher mean rating to all factors, the respondents who have income
RM 1,000 to RM 3,000 give higher mean rate compared to others and lastly
for age, from 50 years old and above give highest value mostly for all
factors. Generally, based on correlation analysis shows the positive
moderate correlation value for all factors included against customer
satisfaction
