The determinants of consumer's willingness to boycott surrogate product / Muhamad Fahmi Sahruddin
Market globalization has brought the product worldwide around the world. Globalization brings more opportunities but at the same time have its own challenges and threats when the companies decide to venture into new markets. One of the ways for the consumers to punish or demonstrate their anger toward companies that have committed negative actions is by boycotting their products. Consumers could substitute with other products that have direct or indirect link with the target boycott, which is known as surrogate products if in the event where the boycotted products are not available in the marketplace, (Friedman, 1985) which in fact surrogate boycotts are even more widespread and have become the most public type of boycotts adopted by consumers (Balabanis,2013;Friedman,2001). This research was conducted to examine the key factors that predict consumers' willingness to take part in boycotting surrogate products (Muhamad and Mizerski, 2010). We adopted the geopolitical imperative perspective of consumer behaviors (Wilson, 2014), where negative global events would have affected consumers' norms, values and belief systems (Zakaria and Abdul-Talib, 2010), thus influencing their purchase decisions. Eventually, to express their frustration, consumers choose to boycott products from the offending country (Ettenson and Klein, 2005). Specifically, this research wanted to examine the link among animosity, subjective norms and product judgments on consumers' willingness to boycott the surrogate products in a Malaysian context. In a multi-cultural society, there may be different emotions, concerns and reactions toward the call for boycotts of the products that have direct and indirect links with Israel. It is crucial for marketers, managers and multinational companies to understand the factors and willingness to purchase or boycott the surrogate products in a multi-cultural and multi-religious country like Malaysia to help them prepare their strategic action

This research also intends to identify the factors that affect low competency of students’ mastering towards of fixes and meaningsin Arabic and identifying the hard parts of mastering and the source of difficulties faced by
students. Several effective ways or solutions in understanding and mastering affixes and meanings in Arabic are being introduced or proposed in the last chapter of this
research. The research participants were selected from students who are undertaking the Malaysian Higher Religious Certificate (STAM) from several schools in Perak state.
This research is a quantitative research and descriptive analysis used in analyzing results and findings. Data analysis using SPSS software version 18.0 and the findings are reported with the support of graphs, ilustrations and pie charts. The final result finds that the level of students’ mastering in affixes and the meaning of affixed words in Arabic still in weak position and will be needing full hands on in handling all the weaknesses. Few identified factors that caused the weaknesses are students’ attitude
and motivation, syllabus that being offered, and less support and encouragement from the related parties. This research also opens new dimension or exposure in Arabic
learning and teaching morphology. Hopefully the findings of this research will attact the attention from all parties, especially those who are directly involved in educational field or department institutions to take immediate action in increasing the students’ mastering level of competency towards Arabic language morphology and also increasing the
quality and standard of Arabic language in national education

Computer approach using MathCAD for better understanding to the Structural Analysis II (KJC 424) / Wan Muhamad Fahmi Wan Zaki
This proposal describes a study that was conducted to develop a programme for the Structural Analysis II (KJC 424) using MathCAD and to encourage the KJC 424 students for better understanding in structural analysis especially indeterminate structural. This study is beneficiary to all individuals who are interested on structural analysis especially for students. Hence, it is encourage students to understand the concept of analysis. Type of structure was analyse is beam. This study focused on analyzing an indeterminate structure and Flexibility Method. The analysis of the beam (indeterminate system) in this programme consist two types of Degree of indeterminacy; it is statically indeterminate to degree 1 and 2. Methodology that involved in this study is manual calculation, method and Procedure, Modeling using MathCAD and run analysis. Manual Calculation is covered a beam the loading such as Uniform Distributed Load and point load. Method used in solving indeterminate structure is Flexibility Method (Unit Load Method). The second phase is a Method and Procedure. After manual calculation stage done, the modeling stage has began using MathCAD. The conclusion and recommendation based on the study, all the results from the programme and other software is almost similar, all the diagrams shown by the progamme is same with Stab2D software, It is concluded that we focus in our main objective which is fully related to the programme itself and to develop a better programme which is can solve a various types of structure using MathCAD’s

Home security alarm system / Mohammad Zahiruddin Azhar, Muhamad Fahmi Mohamad and Mohd Radzin Mohd Razali
Home Security Alarm System is technologies to reduce the rate of house robbery for those who are forget to switch the alarm system on. Besides that, it is to increase safety at the house. . This project consists of 7812 IC. IC 7812 is the voltage regulator .It changes the main current to a fix current. For this circuit we are use a direct current that is 240V. When it flows through the voltage regulator it would change to 12V current. For another input, we decided to combine the motion detector device in our circuit. As you can see, there is a switch at the left corner at the figure. The switch functions as the motion detector. We change the component because there is no motion detector component in the software. When the switch is on, the output will be on. If the LDR is on and the switch is on, the LED and the buzzer will be on. If the switch is on and the LDR is off, the output also on
