No full textThis project is mainly designed to study the thermal analysis and also the energy efficiency of a solar house. For this project, a selected solar house, which is located at Solar Energy Research Park in University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Bangi has been chosen. The main objective of this project is to determine the optimum design and then the energy efficiency for a solar house in Malaysia. This project uses information of this original solar house to simulate new design using software named ENERGY-10. The results will be analysed, simulated and any area of improvement will be suggested to improve the original design of the solar house. The data is processed and simulated by using this software and will be presented as useful information to determine all the possibility of the model that are desired in the future. The overall design of a solar house should maximise the available free energy, ensuring occupant comfort and a pleasant living environment. Hopefully solar house will become a reality and fully implemented in the future

No full textThis research has been made of study on parking management system at Public University. This study focus on the parking problem has occurred in the each university. The issue of this problem had happened in the university, parties must take action to overcome this problem. Only three case of studies will be carried out of the research which is University of Malaya (UM), University of Putra Malaysia (UPM) and University of Teknologi MARA (UiTM). All the case studies will be use to get the information about the parking management system. The research also have a three objective to complete it. The purpose and objectives of the study are to identify parking management system at public university and to identify the user level of satisfaction and problems that is related to parking management system at public university. Lastly is to give a recommendation to the problem. This research, data collection will be collect based on the qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data have two category are primary data and secondary data. The primary data have include the interview and observation. Thus, secondary data have books, journal, articles and internet. Then, quantitative data have questionnaire, pilot study, sample population and survey instrument. This research also use pilot study to gather of data collection. Questionnaires will also be distributed at random to get the information about level of satisfaction and problem that are related to a parking management system in the university. Besides that, the author will suggest how to overcome on parking problem of the each university. From the study, will evaluate the better off parking management system between third public university. Air crashes remain a leading cause of death and serious injury of young children, but car seats decrease the chance of death in an accident by 54%. Car seats saved 451 lives in 2004. This year, one of those 451 children may be yours, so master car seat safety and make it a faith. Few parents make car seat mistakes on purpose to harm their children, as they do with other parenting mistakes. Much of the time, they are simply unaware of the magnitude of the chance they are taking. Car accidents, on the other hand, are normal, and almost everyone will be involved in one at some stage. Per year, over 10 million injuries occur, with 3 in 1,000 resulting in casualties. Accidents are much more severe for children and it only takes a small amount of impact to send an infant crashing through a windshield. Few parents choose not to argue with their older children over car seats, reasoning that an ill-fitting car seat is preferable to none at all. No full textPembasmian kemiskinan telah menjadi salah satu agenda kerajaan semenjak pelaksanaan Dasar Ekonomi Baru. Hal ini kerana kemiskinan dilihat boleh memberi impak negatif kepada negara. Majoriti miskin di kalangan orang Melayu dan beragama Islam. Namun begitu Islam tidak memandang kemiskinan sebagai perkara yang hina. Ia masih boleh diubati. Salah satu pendekatan adalah melalui pembangunan komuniti seperti Program AZAM Tani yang telah pada dilaksanakan pada tahun 2010. Malah pelaksanaan AZAM Tani dilihat sebagai satu impak positif kepada komuniti miskin terutamanya dari etnik Melayu. Salah satu penumpuan program ini adalah meningkat pengetahuan, kemahiran dan daya saing pesertanya. Maka itu, permasalahannya adalah apakah tahap kemahiran dan daya saing komuniti Melayu miskin setelah menyertai program AZAM Tani ini. Kaedah kuantitatif dan bancian digunakan dalam kajian ini. Seramai 54 responden berjaya dikutip dari lapangan dan mereka adalah peserta program AZAM Tani pada tahun 2011. Mereka ini tinggal di Seberang Perai. Hasil analisis menunjukkan tahap kemahiran dan daya saing responden adalah sederhana tinggi. Namun begitu, kemahiran dan daya saing diperoleh secara tidak langsung dari pelaksanaan program ini melalui pengetahuan. Walau bagaimanapun, perlaksanaan program AZAM Tani membantu kepada perubahan tahap pendapatan responden dan membantu majoriti responden melaksanakan pekerjaan tambahan

No full textThis paper focuses on design and fabrication method of specimens with different geometry using multi jet rapid prototyping machine and on the investigation of the affecting factors on product quality, such as dimensional geometry, part strength, hardness and surface finish. Part strength and hardness will be tested and investigated after post heat treatment and under environmental exposure. Dimensional geometry and surface finish will be determined based on following aspects such as part orientation, part location, part thickness, environmental exposure and wall thickness etc. The specimen design will be in form of solid and hollow cubie/plate/circle. The measurement will be taken by using highly precise testing or measuring machine such as Tensile and Hardness test machine, Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Profile Projectors Machine and Stylus for surface roughness. The finding of this research will be useful for obtaining important aspect such as quality, cost and time in order to develop a new model design for research and development
