Optimal power operation of low-cost MEMS-Based Attitude Determination System for Nano-satellites
The main purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the observed significance of power utilization and its operation within designed low-cost and optimal 3-Axis MEMS-Based Attitude Determination System for Nano-satellites. Nano-satellites have been most prominent portion of space research in the recent times and several of its real-time concerns requiring precise solution by maintaining appropriate balance of size, weight, cost and several other technical parameters pose a challenge in achieving enhanced missions objectives within this technology. In order to address these concerns relating to the attitude determination aspects of Nano-satellites, intensive research has been carried out through several statistical and experimental analyses to obtain a highly efficient, optimal and cost-effective attitude determination system specific to Nano-satellites. During the study and experimentation, many critical aspects have been significantly noted and unique conclusions have been made which are achieved by several creative and logical strategies, techniques and attitude dynamics. This paper will mainly focus on implementing efficient configurations to attain minimum power consumption especially using MEMS sensors acquired through practical scrutiny. A complete critical analysis is detailed after emphasizing the results which give substantial direction to make superior considerate and well-balanced applicability of low-cost sensors under severe space environment
A study of cognitive computing in nanosatellite constellations for synergic autonomy in CisLunar space
The small satellites have been changing the paradigm of space technology and implementation techniques ever since the NewSpace era has begun a stiff competition and dynamic atmosphere for innovation and recreation. Nanosatellites (ranging from 1 to 10 Kg) have been of significant importance since they have been launched and experimented in the past few decades. The constellations of these satellites will be a test of technology and management in due course of time. The complexity of operations and skilled functioning of the satellites in LEO and beyond is becoming crucial for the space industry and scientific communities. This paper will demonstrate the challenges, applications, and strategies to implement Artificial Intelligence (AI) optimally to make these constellations efficient and productive under the given scenarios and constraints. A thorough investigation through literature study has been initially done to observe and monitor the recent developments and envision the futuristic implementation of cognitive computing in CisLunar space. Hence, a detailed description of strategizing this artificial intelligence implementation in three classified regions as Low Earth Orbits (LEO), Transfer Region (TR), and Lunar Orbits (LO) to emphasize their crucial role in operating nanosatellites is significantly presented. Strategic Vision, Infra-structure and Enhanced Configurations for Developing Cost-Effective Nano-satellites for Future Deep Space Missions
This paper attemps to present the major strategies to envision the further development of Nano-satellites (particularly in the range of 1 to 10 kilograms) and needed infra-structure to attain highly challenging mission objections in the near future which are presently delivered with larger satellites. The Nano-satellites to the most extent have proven their caliber in Low Earth Orbits (LEOs) due to several successful launches in the recent decades and based on practical observation, the capabilities possessed by these cost-effective technology based range of satellites can be aspired to explore various other portions of the deep space significantly. For this to be achieved, a detailed path has to be deviced at different levels of execution over a period of time with a completely dedicated thought process, planning, simulating, experimenting, evaluating and documenting respectively. In this research, the MEMS technology is considered to be most potential tool to maintain the cost-effectivity of Nano-satellites if implemented with well-balanced and space adoptable techniques. Hence, all these factors under scrutiny with a detail decription of combined benefits of MEMS and Nano-satellites which are contemplated for deep space exploration forms the nucleus of this paper. Lastly, A thorough critical analysis is presented with substantial conclusions
Spanish MArket's Smart Home devices' (SMASH)
The SMASH dataset contains data on smart home devices sold on 4 Spain-based e-commerce platforms: Amazon Spain, PC Componentes, MediaMarkt Spain and El Corte Inglés. It contains data on 5223 devices belonging to 649 brands classified into 49 categories. The devices in our dataset have been sold at least 2.5 million times based on the number of user reviews. It can be useful for researchers in the areas of consumer behavior, microeconomics, IoT, smart home and computing
Before and After the Commentators: An Essay in Periodization.
This article considers the historical and philosophical significance of the Neoplatonic commentators on Aristotle. The authors set Richard Sorabji's recent Sourcebook on the commentators within a wider backgroung, which covers the commentators' contribution in the shaping of late antique philosophy and their posterity in the Islamic philosophical tradition. After an introductory section (1) regarding the current status of research in this area, the authors tackle the following issues: (2) Plotinus, the commentators and the development of late antique thought; (3) the Sourcebook and Islamic Philosophy. Riccardo Chiaradonna is co-author of section (1) and author of section (2), where the reception of Aristotle's school treatises is set out as a key feature in the transition from Post Hellenistic to Late Antique philosophy. Plotinus has a pivotal position in this process and the Neoplatonic incorporation of Aristotle's treatises would have not taken place without Plotinus' contribution
