    Bu çalışma, hala hayatta olan ve Diyarbakır'da ikamet eden Molla Sadullah'ın hayatı ve 'et-Tibyân fî Tasrîfi Kelimâti'l-Kur'ân adlı eserini ele almaktadır. Molla Sadullah, bu eserinde Kur'ân'ı Kerîm'de geçen bazı kelimelerin aslını, sarf açısından geçirdikleri değişiklikleri, kelimelerin anlamlarını, kıraat farklılıklarını izah etmektedir. Söz konusu eseri, Kur'ân'da geçen bazı kavramların köklerini ve bu köklerin uğradığı i'lâl, idgâm ve kalb gibi sarfla ilgili kuralların izahı ve buna bağlı olarak da onlarda meydana gelen değişikliklerin ortaya konulması açısından çok önemli bir çalışmadır. Kur'ân'da geçen ve mevzu bahsi olan kelimelerin uğradığı değişimleri sarf ilmi açısından izah etmekle kalmayan müellif, söz konusu kelimelerin geldikleri farklı manaları da bazen ayrıntılı bir şekilde ele alarak ilim talebeleri ve onları yetiştiren hocaların istifadesine sunmaktadır.This study examines the work of Mullah Sadullah, who is still alive and residing in Diyarbakır, called 'et-Tibyân fî Tasrîfi Kelimâti'l-Qur'an'. This book explains the originals of some of the words in the Qur'an surahs, the stages they went through in terms of consumption, the meanings of the words, and the differences in recitation. It is a very important study for students in terms of explaining the roots of the concepts of the Qur'an and how these roots change with i'lâl and iqlâb. Not only does the author show the change that the words of the Qur'an have undergone, but also explains the different meanings of the words, sometimes in detail, and presents them to the benefit of the students of science and the teachers who train the students

    Kadim kültür ve medeniyetleri içinde barındıran ve bölgenin en önemli kentlerinden olan Diyarbakır, öteden beri ilim ve irfana beşiklik eden önemli bir ilim merkezi olmuştur. Havzasında yer alan ilim müesseselerinde eskide olduğu gibi günümüzde de büyük âlimler yetişmiştir. Yaşadığımız dönemde bu kadim şehirde yetişen değerli âlim ve şahsiyetlerden biri, Molla Sadullah el-Fetlevî'dir. Nahiv, sarf, lügat, fıkıh, tefsir ve hadis gibi ilim dallarında ihtisas sahibi olan el-Fetlevî, nahiv ve sarf başta olmak üzere pek çok ilim dalında eser telif etmiş ve çok sayıda makale yazmıştır. Onun en önemli eserlerinden biri, Abdülgafûr el-Lârî'nin (ö. 912/1506) Hâşiye 'alâ şerhi'l-Câmî li'l Kâfiye adlı eseri üzerine kaleme almış olduğu'Avnu'l-Bârî fî Halli Ba'di Müşkilâti'l-Lârî adlı kitabıdır. Çalışmamızın konusu olan 'Avnu'l-Bârî fî Halli Ba'di Müşkilâti'l-Lârî adlı eser, 98 varaktan oluşmaktadır. Eserin mukaddimesinde pek çok edebi sanata yer veren yazar, garip ifadeler kullanmış ise de metin kısmını anlaşılır ve yalın bir dille yazmıştır. Müellif, söz konusu eserde Abdülgafûr'un ismin özelliklerinden izafet konusuna kadar olan kısmı ele alıp şerh etmiştir. Bu tez çalışmasında Molla Sadullah el-Fetlevî'nin hayatı ve ilmi şahsiyeti ile İbnü'l-Hâcib, Molla Câmî ve Abdülgafûr el-Lârî'nin hayatı ele alınmıştır. Haşiyetu 'Abdilgafûr 'ala şerhi'l-Câmî ve el-Fetlevî'nin'Avnu'l-Bârî fî Halli Ba'di Müşkilâti'l-Lârî'nin genel özellikleri hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Bunun ardından el-Fetlevî'nin 'Avnu'l-Bârî fî Halli Ba'di Müşkilâti'l-Lârî adlı eserin tahlil ve tahkiki yapılmıştır.Diyarbakır, which is one of the most important cities of the region and contains ancient cultures and civilizations, has been an important scientific center that has been the cradle of science and wisdom for a long time. As in the past, great scholars have been trained in the scientific institutions located in its basin. One of the valuable scholars and personalities who grew up in this ancient city during the period we live in is Molla Sadullah al-Fetlawi. Al-Fetlawi, who is a scholar and scholar in branches of science such as nahiv, lexicography, fiqh, tafsir and hadith, has written works in many branches of science, especially nahw and sarcasm, and has written many articles. One of his most important works, Abdulgafur al-Lari 'Avnu'l-Bârî fî Halli Ba'di Müşkilati'l-Lârî, which was written on the work of Hâşiyetu 'Abdilgafûr 'ala'l-Câmî. The work called 'Avnu'l-Bârî fî Halli Ba'di Müşkilati'l-Lârî', which is the subject of our study, consists of 98 pages. The author, who included many literary arts in the introduction of the work, used strange expressions, but wrote the annotation part in an understandable and plain language. In the work in question, the author has discussed and annotated the part of Abdulgafur's name from the characteristics of the name to the subject of relativity. In this thesis, the life and scientific personality of Molla Sadullah al-Fetlawi and the life of Abdulgafur al-Lari are discussed. Information has been given about the general characteristics of Hashiyetu 'Abdilgafûr 'ala'l-Câmî and al-Fetlevî's 'Avnu'l-Bârî fî Halli Ba'di Müşkilati'l-Lârî.     Abstract: Present study is based on the investigation of antioxidant and antihyperglycemic effect of methanolic extract from areal parts of Otostigea aucheri (OA). 2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) method was used to measure the antioxidant activity of extract of the species Otostigea aucheri. The observed scavenging activity for the free radicals was significant and it was compared with the standard BHT inhibition method. The IC 50 value obtained of methanolic extract was 2.23 µg/mL. The methanolic extract of OA on the blood glucose level was further studied in normal (non-diabetic), streptozotocin (STZ)-induced type I and type II diabetic male Long-Evans rats at postprandial glucose load state. The results revealed that the oral administration of methanolic extract (1.25 g/kg) of OA showed no remarkable hypoglycemic effect in normal and type I (IDDM) diabetic rats. However, the methanolic extract significantly lowered (p < 0.005) serum glucose level in type II diabetic (NIDDM) models when simultaneous glucose was administered. This screening for antioxidant activity interprets the pernicious effects of diabetes that have been associated with mediation through the oxidation stress. The study also suggests to introduce natural source of the potential orally active antioxidant and active antihyperglycemic phytochemicals for the future. It may also improve the impaired antioxidant defense system

    Superiority of the r-k Class Estimator Over Some Estimators In A Linear Model

    WOS: 000305514300014In regression analysis, to overcome the problem of multicollinearity, the r - k class estimator is proposed as an alternative to the ordinary least squares estimator which is a general estimator including the ordinary ridge regression estimator, the principal components regression estimator and the ordinary least squares estimator. In this article, we derive the necessary and sufficient conditions for the superiority of the r - k class estimator over each of these estimators under the Mahalanobis loss function by the average loss criterion. Then, we compare these estimators with each other using the same criterion. Also, we suggest to test to verify if these conditions are indeed satisfied.     A peroxide-Initiated melt compounding technique was used to graft and crosslink the high density polyethylene/chitosan blend using vinyl triethoxysilane Different percentage of chitosan (up to maximum of 35%) was added in HDPE/chitosan blends The physical and functional properties of the crosslinked HDPE/chitosan blends were investigated and compared with its non-crosslinked congener IR spectrum of crosslinked blend confirmed the presence of Si-O-Si and Si-O-C absorption peaks at 1020 cm(-1) and 1105 cm(-1) Increased gel content was obtained with increasing chitosan loading whereas percentage crystallinity was decreased Rheological study of crosslinked blends showed linear viscoelastic behavior with high complex viscosity and dynamic shear storage modulus Tensile strength of crosslinked HDPE was 9 3 MPa and it was increased by threefold to 27 4 MPa in crosslinked HDPE/chitosan blends containing 35% chitosan contents Similarly lower deformation was observed in crosslinked blends under static load Scanning electron microscopy revealed good adhesion between matrix-filler interphase (C) 2010 Elsevier Ltd All rights reserve
