EFFECIVENESS OF LOANS PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT PRACTICES IN MYANMAR MICROFINANCE BANK (Khin Thandar Myo Min, 2019)
This study is based on the loan portfolio management of Myanmar Microfinance Bank. The objectives of this study are to identify of loan portfolio management practices of Myanmar Microfinance Bank and to investigate the effectiveness of loan portfolio management practices of Myanmar Microfinance Bank. Descriptive research method is used in this study by both primary data and secondary data, gathered by questionnaire from middle management level from head office and branch and BOD members and monthly and annually reports of the Central Bank of Myanmar, annual general meeting reports and financial reports of MMB bank. Regarding of first objective, it found that loan portfolio management is very effective in bank performance. The key finding factors of the study about credit risk management in MMB are policies and procedures are clearly defined in loan portfolio management

Rholpalodina cabrinovici n. sp. Figures 2, 4 A–C Diagnosis. Proboscis and sphere clearly demarcated; reaching approximately 50 mm in total length. Tentacle about 20 in two circles of five large and 15 smaller ones of varying size inside these. Body wall deposits of sphere and proboscis comprise a superficial layer of tables lying outside a layer of large, smooth multilocular, imbricating plates plus other smaller, also multilocular plates interspersed amongst them. Table discs cup-shaped with the rim denticulate and turned up to give to some tables a cup and saucer appearance in lateral view; spire of moderate height, of four pillars, a single cross bar, terminating in a rather ill-defined crown. Material examined. Holotype, NHM, 1914.12.23.4/ 5, Lagos, Nigeria, J. Cadman Esq., paratype, same data as holotype., 1 spec. Etymology. This species is named after Mr. Andrew Cabrinovic of the Natural History Museum, U.K., to acknowledge his logistic support whenever the senior author visited this institution. Description of holotype. Proboscis and sphere clearly demarcated, without one merging imperceptibly into the other. Holotype, larger of the two specimens, 49 mm in length (proboscis 27 mm, sphere 22 mm), diameter of proboscis 5 mm proximally, 3 mm distally, diameter of sphere 14 mm. Colour, in alcohol, proboscis creamish, sphere creamish-grey proximally, uniformly creamish at base. Tube feet very reduced, in two zigzag rows per ambulacrum, extending to the tip of sphere with mid-ventral ambulacrum crossing pole of the sphere. Mouth and anus set very close together, difficult to distinguish, the latter surrounded by anal papillae. Tentacles about 20, in two circles of five large elongated ones plus about 15 smaller ones of varying size; branches much reduced. Proboscis rigid, sphere not as soft as in other rhopalodinids. Both sphere and proboscis rough to the touch due to the presence of tables superficial to the large imbricating plates whose free ends are directed anterioriad with the perforations so aligned to give the impression of some sort of regular sculpturing on the surface. Calcareous ring well calcified (Figure 4 A); radial plates broad, especially proximally with several anterior subdivisions and a slight posterior bifurcation; interradial plates smaller, triangular, broader proximally and narrower distally, with/without posterior indentation. Polian vesicle single; stone canal short, madreporite minute, beanshaped. Each respiratory tree subdivided into two well developed branches of which one is longer and attached to body wall. Gonad (ovary) much branched, full of developing or developed eggs, with the longer branch of the right respiratory tree intermingled with it. Tables present in both proboscis and sphere lying outside a single layer of multilocular plates. Table discs of proboscis of moderate size (70–109 µm, mean 90.3 µm, ± 13.83, n = 4) (Figure 2 B), usually rounded with denticulate/spinose margins, turned up to give a saucer-like appearance, with four central holes and several smaller marginal holes in one or two series, rarely the central holes larger than the rest; spire low to moderate, terminating in a rather ill-defined crown; some tables reduced to form fenestrated spheres but these are rare. Discs of the tables of the sphere of similar size (74–119.5 µm, mean 97.5 µm, ± 14.12, n = 10) and form (Figure 2 D). Plates of the proboscis and sphere imbricating, of various form, circular, oval to elongate, of two distinct sizes, larger plates multilocular with the holes so arranged as to give the skin a characteristic sculpturing-like appearance in surface view. Larger plates of proboscis (1291–1449 µm, mean 1361.6 µm, ± 152.16, n = 10) (Figure 2 A) with several series of holes; smaller plates (142–270 µm, mean 225.4 µm, ± 43.93, n = 5). Plates of sphere also of two sizes, larger plates (670–1000 µm, mean 891.5 µm, ± 109.27, n = 10) with an irregular margin and often with an indentation for the passage of the tube foot where these are present (Figure 2 E). Small plates (217–518 µm, mean 386.6 µm, ± 101.27, n = 5) fewer, with fewer holes and uneven margins, dominant at pole of sphere (Figure 2 C). Tube feet rods of two types, those that are plate-like, multilocular with an elongated portion held at an angle to the main body of the plate and other rods typically of rhopalodinid type, that is curved with/without marginal projections but often with one or more perforations (Figure 4 B). Tentacle ossicles delicate, comprising rods of varying size and form, no two exactly identical but usually of two types, large ones sparingly perforated with spiny and/or irregular margins, the other curved with one or more marginal projections and terminal holes, resembling such rods of the tube feet. Paratype not dissected (Figure 4 C), 45 mm in length (proboscis 21 mm, sphere 24 mm); midventral ambulacrum not clearly discernable at pole of sphere. Remarks. It is with some hesitation that we describe the two NHM specimens as a new species as they strongly resemble R. pachyderma Panning, 1932. However, they differ from it in their body form and the reduced denticulations of the table discs and the crowns of the spires. In Panning’s (1932, 1935) drawing of the body form of his species there is no sharp delimitation between the proboscis and the sphere, one is seen to imperceptibly merge into the other. This shape was verified in the type material of R. pachyderma received from the Hamburg Museum. According to Cherbonnier (1958, 1965) his specimens have the same body form as that described for the species by Panning. It is unfortunate that neither Cherbonnier nor Panning, who made in total four descriptions of this species, illustrate the plates of the body wall nor comment on the presence of the smaller plates interspersed between the larger ones, although such plates are present in the type of R. pachyderma we examined. We also failed to find large plates of about 2 mm long as recorded by Panning (1935). For comparative purposes we present here a table (Table 1) comparing the size of the plates of the type recorded by Panning (1935), that of the type measured by us, and those of our new species. Unfortunately, Cherbonnier does not give any measurements of the plates of his specimens. Cherbonnier records the presence of about 20 tentacles in his 1958 material of R. pachyderma and 25 in his 1965 material. Havelockia ferali ferali Cherbonnier, 1988 Havelockia ferali Cherbonnier, 1988: 183, text-fig. 78 A–M. Diagnosis (after Cherbonnier 1988). A small, sclerodactylid holothuroid, yellowish in colour, sometimes with some brownish spots. Body in-curved, length 13–17 mm. Tube feet long, scattered, with some apparent serial arrangement. Tentacles 10, mid-ventral two greatly reduced. Calcareous ring unfragmented but processes clearly subdivided. Polian vesicle and stone canal single, madreporite not calcified. Body wall ossicles as tables with fusiform or triangular disc pierced by four central holes accompanied by two or more supplementary holes; spire of two arched-pillars terminating in a non-perforate, spinous crown; smooth multilocular plates also present. Anal tables with smaller disc but usually with perforated crown to spire. Tube feet ossicles as tables with a curved disc and a toothed, terminally pierced spire. Introvert supported by tables with large multilocular disc. Tentacles with rosettes or rosette-like plates. Holotype. MNHN EcHh 3544, Tuléar, Madagascar. Paratypes. MNHN EcHh 7077, 7076, 7077 and 3591 (all from Nosy Bay, Madagascar). Remarks. This is the nominal subspecies of Thyone ferali and is not represented in the material at hand. It was described from the holotype and several paratypes but Cherbonnier (1988) mentioned that his description related only to the holotype. New dendrochirotid sea cucumbers from northern Australia (Echinodermata: Holothuroidea: Dendrochirotida)
A new genus in the sub-family Semperiellinae is described: Triasemperia O Loughlin. Six new species of dendrochirotids are described with O Loughlin as author: Actinocucumis solanderi, Cladolabes arafurus, Globosita elnazae, Massinium bonapartum, Massinium keesingi, Triasemperia stola. Genera Actinocucumis Ludwig, Cladolabes Brandt, Globosita Cherbonnier and Massinium Samyn and Thandar are discussed. Species listed by Heding and Panning as synonyms of Actinocucumis typica Ludwig are raised out of synonymy: Actinocucumis cornus (Heding); Actinocucumis difficilis Bell; Actinocucumis longipedes Clark; Pseudocucumis quinquangularis Sluiter; Actinocucumis simplex (Sluiter). Actinocucumis donnani Pearson is incertae sedis. We provide a table of some distinguishing morphological characters for species of Globosita, and a key for distinguishing the species of Massinium

Polymicrogyria Related Epilepsy: Heterogeneous Epileptogenicity, 2001-2018
Objective: We aimed to study the heterogeneity of epileptogenicity in polymicrogyria (PMG) by analyzing the intracranial electroencephalography (icEEG) ictal onset in relation to PMG as well as the extent of surgical resection. We also compare seizure outcome between the surgical group and the medical management group.
Methods: Thirty-five PMG related epilepsy patients (19 – adult, 16 – pediatric, 20 unilateral, 15 bilateral) were studied. Seizure freedom (SF) was defined as Engel class 1A at the last visit.
Result: 52% achieved SF in the surgical group ( mean 41 months follow up) whereas none achieved SF in the medical group (mean 39.3 months follow up). Similar to prior literature, our result also suggested that epileptogenicity in PMG is heterogeneous. In the icEEG surgical group, only 17% of the patients achieved SF if ictal onset in icEEG was confined to the PMG region only. 57% and 67% SF were achieved if the icEEG onset was noted from both the PMG and nonPMG region, and only from the nonPMG region, respectively. Thus, one should not focus only on the PMG regions for electrode implantation while developing epilepsy pre-surgical hypotheses in the particular patient population.
Conclusion: Surgical treatment seems to be superior to medical treatment in the preselected group of drug-resistant epilepsy patients related to PMG. SF is still plausible even in bilateral or extensive unilateral PMG. In addition, our study suggested that epileptogenicity in PMG is heterogeneous, and thus complete PMG resection does not guarantee SF. Knowledge and practice on medication adherence among Type II diabetes mellitus patients
This study aimed to survey the level of knowledge and practice on medication adherence among Type II diabetes mellitus (DM) patients. A cross-sectional study was conducted with a total of 220 DM patients by using a convenience sampling method. It was found that 64.5% of studied participants have a high level of knowledge with good practice toward medication adherence. There was a significant association between sociodemographic characteristics with the level of knowledge and practice toward medication adherence. This study finding provides
information to health care providers to improve their patient’s care by playing their important role in promoting the importance of knowledge on medication adherence for a better quality of life to the DM patients. Not only a physician but also the nurse could enhance health education
for their patient on medication adherence during the follow-up appointment
Soft skill elements in structured clinical nursing assessment for undergraduate nursing students: a systematic review
This systematic review aimed to appraise and synthesize the available evidence that examines the soft skill elements in clinical nursing assessment for undergraduate nursing students. This systematic review also is in line with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Relevant studies were identified based on the inclusion criteria with language filters but were limited to articles published from January 2000to March 2019. Tw o reviewers independently conducted the quality assessment, data extraction, and analysis on all included studies. A total of 17 articles were included in this review. Studies showed that without developing adequate soft skill elements in the clinical skill assessment, students are graduating unprepared to be successful in the workplace. There is a need to consider and adopt soft skill elements in clinical skill assessment to improve the quality of nursing graduates and ultimately to create a positive impact on patient outcomes
A cross-sectional study on factors influencing attendance to eye screening
This study aimed to survey the factors influencing attendance to eye screening among Diabetes mellitus (DM) patients. This cross-sectional survey was carried out among 170 DM patients using self-administered questionnaires. Majority of participants, 45.9% (n = 78) highlighted that lack of information regarding diabetes and not understanding the significance of eye screening are the barriers to eye screening. Whereas, 10.6% (n = 18) reported lack of access to healthcare facilities, 6.5% (n = 11) experienced time limitation and 2.9% (n = 5) suffered financial issues. However, more than half of the participants (58.2%) have good knowledge related to diabetic eye complications. There was a significant difference between educational level with patients’ attendance in yearly eye screening. Lack of information received by the patients on the importance of eye screening and communication issues seems to be prominent and becomes the reason for patients not attending eye screening
