Medios de noticias en Merlo: diversidad y repercusión
No full textEste resumen de póster expone un relevamiento inicial de medios de noticias en el distrito de Merlo, Buenos Aires, destacando su influencia en la comunidad y su contribución a la difusión de información. Los objetivos específicos incluyen evaluar el enfoque temático, analizar la audiencia objetivo y explorar las herramientas utilizadas por estos medios.Esta iniciativa se desprende del proyecto “Comunicación en el Oeste del conurbano: hacia un mapa territorial e identitario de los medios locales y su incidencia político cultural (1973-2023)”, dirigido por la Dra. Laura Vazquez y co-dirigido por el Dr. Cristian Secul Giusti, aprobado por Disposición UNM-SdI N° 43/22, Universidad Nacional de Moreno (UNM). Al respecto, se realizaron indagaciones en los espacios digitales de Noticias MERLO, Merlo a Diario, Noti Merlo, Merlo Real Noticias, Periódico La Verdad Merlo, Alerta Merlo, Merlo díaxdía y El Magazin de Merlo.Esta exposición visual incluye una visión integral de la función y el impacto de los medios de noticias en Merlo, subrayando su diversidad temática y su influencia en la comunidad. Gas volume fraction and velocity profiles: vertical and inclined bubbly air-water flows
No full textUpward inclined gas-liquid flows are frequently encountered in the oil industry and data relating to the local gas volume fraction distribution and the local gas velocity distribution is important, for example, in pressure gradient prediction and in modeling oil well 'blowouts'. In this paper measurements are presented of the local gas volume fraction distribution and the local axial gas velocity distribution which were taken in bubbly air-water flows in an 80 mm diameter pipe which was inclined at angles of 0°, 15° and 30° to the vertical. Qualitative arguments are presented to explain the influence of the liquid superficial velocity on the local gas volume fraction distribution in inclined flow and also to explain the very high axial gas velocities observed towards the upper side of the inclined pipe

Die Einleitung nimmt zunächst Lucas Geizkoflers Leben und Werk in den Blick, ehe allgemeine Informationen zur Universität im 16. Jahrhundert zum Text hinführen. Eine ausführliche literaturwissenschaftliche Analyse geht neben den Entstehungsumständen des Textes auch auf die Gattung der Deklamation, die verschiedenen Gliederungsprinzipien des Textes, seine intertextuellen Bezüge sowie auf Geizkoflers Stil ein. BESS modeling: Investigating the role of auxiliary system consumption in efficiency derating
No full textLarge-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity installed for stationary applications is rising in the first decades of 21st century. Business models related to BESS highly depend on BESS lifetime. BESS lifetime can be preserved only if accurate thermal management of the assets allows to keep it at design temperature. Auxiliary systems' needs for cooling and heating the BESS cannot be disregarded while modeling the real-world operation of these facilities. In this paper we propose an improved protocol for organic modeling of large-scale BESS grid-connected. We assess the share of losses and the operational efficiency related to the provision of ancillary services to the network by BESS in different seasons and different working conditions. We highlight that BESS efficiency increases in case the system is constantly exploited, avoiding time idle or at low power. The model proposed, with respect to standard techniques, allows to better represent BESS performance. Indeed, just by disregarding the losses related to thermal management of the assets (as it is for standard modeling techniques), errors committed are up to 10%
