Synods of the Churches of and after the Reformation: The Dawn of the Reformation (16th-17th Centuries)
This two-volume set includes the critical editions – in some cases the very first critical editions – of a selection of synods of the Churches of and after the Reformation from 1526 to 1616. This collection of synodal decrees represents different confessional families and covers a wide linguistic and geographical spectrum
Polarization-transparent FSR-free microring resonator filter with wide hitless tunability
A coupled microring resonator architecture with non-integer Vernier ratio design and controllable loss is exploited to implement a polarization-transparent hitless tunable FSR-free filter operating over the extended C+L band (1520 nm-1620 nm). (C) 2021 The Author(s
Cascaded Mach-Zehnder architectures for photonic integrated delay lines
A continuously tunable integrated optical delay line architecture with large bandwidth and bandwidth-delay product is proposed and demonstrated. The non-resonant delay line is based on cascaded Mach-Zehnder interferometers with tunable couplers. The device is operated with a single control signal and outperforms the common ring-resonator-based delay lines in terms of bandwidth-delay product. A device with a delay tuning range of 124 ps is experimentally demonstrated over a transmission bandwidth of 4.5 GHz
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
