Full Breathing with Watching (FBW) - A Technique to Remove Any Unwanted Thought Very Effectively Any Time of The Day

    No full text
This paper introduces a novel technique - Full Breathing with Watching (FBW) - designed to remove unwanted thoughts effectively within 30-40 seconds to 5-10 minutes of practice, promoting optimal mental health, happiness, and productivity. The author identifies four existing approaches to mental health: (1) ignoring negative thoughts and busying oneself, (2) using positive thoughts or prayers, (3) employing single-focus thoughtless awareness techniques, and (4) practicing mantra chanting. These methods, individually as well as collectively, have failed to eliminate major mental health issues such as wars, terrorism, crimes, bullying, suicides, and psychosomatic diseases. The author concludes that these techniques share a fundamental flaw: they are single-focus, effective only during inner peace or low stress, but ineffective under high and very high stress. In response, the author invented Full Breathing with Watching (FBW) on 18th August, 2024. FBW uniquely combines biological and psychological processes in a double-focus mechanism, effectively removing unwanted thoughts (negative, unwanted sexual, or focus-harming positive fantasies) of even high or very high intensity. FBW involves continuous full breathing at a comfortable speed while watching unwanted thoughts or whatever is before oneself in thoughtless state. FBW offers versatile applications: removing unwanted thoughts any time of the day, mental rest, daily thoughtless awareness meditation, overcoming harmful desires, reinforcing self-discipline, developing universal love in the children, and inducing sound sleep. The author's personal practice and feedback from others suggest FBW is distinctly more effective than the existing techniques for removing unwanted thoughts of even high or very high intensity, though, the author supports using positive thinking, mantra chanting, or prayers in the states of inner peace or low stress for deeper happiness and satisfaction. FBW can be done for continuous thoughtless awareness meditation with closed eyes upto 10 minutes but no longer, because full breathing is fully comfortable till 10-minute duration but no longer. Due to this reason, for the optional use for longer than 10 minutes thoughtless awareness meditation with closed eyes, the author invented Natural Breathing with Watching (NBW) technique on 31st August 2024, which is a subtle double-focus thoughtless awareness technique involving watching one’s natural breathing, meaning, normal inhalation and exhalation, while simultaneously watching unwanted thoughts of whatever is before oneself in thoughtless state. But, even for this longer than 10 minutes thoughtless awareness meditation, the author recommends using NBW only for removing unwanted thoughts of low intensity while using FBW for removing unwanted thoughts of high or very high intensity as FBW is distinctly more effective than even NBW for this purpose. One can use this approach even for inducing sleep because for that purpose also, one does not know how long it will take to fall asleep. The author is publishing FBW and NBW to the wider psychology research community to do RCTs on them as well as for popular dissemination

Counter Positive Technique - A Technique to Remove Negative Thoughts and Negative Emotions Very Effectively

    No full text
In this paper, the author proposes a new meditation technique, Counter Positive Technique, to remove negative thoughts and negative emotions very effectively in around 10 seconds to 5 or 15 minutes of its practice to help people have top class mental health in life and, hence, top class happiness and productivity. There have been 4 types of techniques tried by the humanity so far to solve their mental health issues: 1st, ignoring negative thoughts and negative emotions and getting busy in work, 2nd, using some positive thought (s) whether of one’s own or based on some inspiring quote, story, etc. or of the type of prayer to some divine being whether a spiritual guru or a god/goddess or God or the universe, 3rd, various thoughtless awareness techniques and, 4th, various mantra chanting techniques. These 4 types of techniques neither individually nor even collectively could free the humanity from major mental health issues which are behind all cases of murder, rape, bullying, suicide and psychosomatic diseases which are all of chronic nature. This led the author to research for a technique which should be as powerful and simple as the author can logically make it and that resulted into the invention of Counter Positive Technique in Feb 2024 which uses slow and full alternate breathing combined with appropriate auto-suggestion during both inhalation as well as exhalation. After its invention, the author shared it with many people and from their feedback learnt that Counter Positive Technique is at least 10 times more effective for all healthy people and at least 2 times more effective for unhealthy people in removing negative thoughts and negative emotions as compared to all other techniques they used in their life so far which all belong to the aforementioned 4 types of techniques. This technique can also be used for removing harmful desires like desire for smoking, wasting time on internet and app, etc. also and, in case, one still fails in self-discipline, one should do it for 5 minutes after the lapse to reinforce the self-discipline in one’s mind effectively. This technique can also be used for 5 minutes daily to pro-actively develop any good quality or habit. This technique also has healing versions to heal chronic diseases caused either by physical accident or excess of fear or excess of anger and hate for which 100-hour experiment is needed and upon getting at least 10-20 percent healing after this 100-hour experiment, one is requested to keep doing as many hundred hours more as needed to completely heal one’s chronic diseases. This technique is very simple, completely free and without any side-effect ensuring that it can be done by anyone above the age of 6 years (and even earlier if even younger people than 6 years can learn it) including the illiterate, the blind and those who cannot use their hand temporarily or permanently due to any physical reason. The Counter Positive Technique is designed to be the primary technique for removing negative thoughts and emotions very effectively throughout one's life. While other meditative and spiritual practices such as positive thinking, thoughtless awareness techniques, or mantra chanting can be beneficial for enhancing happiness and spiritual progress when one is already in a peaceful state, the author emphasizes that the Counter Positive Technique should always be used at the onset of any negative thought and negative emotion to remove it very effectively. The author's personal practice exemplifies this approach, using the Counter Positive Technique for removing negative thoughts and negative emotions while incorporating other practices like mantra chanting during periods of inner peace. This method ensures good inner peace which builds the foundation for deeper spiritual exploration, if one wishes for it, offering a comprehensive and flexible approach to lifelong well-being. The author is publishing this technique to the wider psychology research community to do RCTs on it as well as for popular dissemination

Comprehensive deformation study in the new Austrian tunneling technique tunnel utilising artificial neural network model

    No full text
Ground deformation during tunneling projects is one of the complicated concerns that must be constantly monitored to prevent unanticipated damages and human losses. In addition to conventional approaches, several intelligent methods, like ANN, have recently been used for different tunnel challenges. Geological elements such as thrust zones, folded rock sequences, shear zones, rock cover, in-situ tensions, water ingress, gas ingress, geothermal gradient, and significant seismicity all present difficulties during digging. These difficulties have a substantial influence on the routine functioning of the tunnel as well as traffic safety. To address these issues, the authors recommended using ANNs from many elements of tunnel engineering. The new Austrian tunneling technique (NATM) has shown to be a highly affordable and versatile mode of construction, and as a result, it has become the most common tunneling construction method utilized in the building of the double-arched tunnel. In this work, the MATLAB program was utilized to generate the results, which comprised training and testing datasets. The experimental results demonstrate that the suggested model\u27s values for R2, Bias, Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) and Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), with training data are 18.56, 0.98, 1.05, and 0.08, respectively. The suggested RMSE, R2, Bias, and MAPE values for the test dataset were 19.89, 0.98, 1.05, and 0.09

Invent and Learn - The Ultimate Technique of Teaching as well as Learning!

    No full text
The author proposes a new teaching technique – the "Invent and Learn" technique - in this paper which is the ultimate technique of teaching as well as learning because, in this technique, the teacher gives the minimum needed help to make the students invent a new concept, law, theorem or formula in all academic subjects and also to make them invent as many “questions and application problems and their answers and solutions to the extent they can manage on their own” as possible based on the new concept, law, theorem or formula they learn in combination with all the concepts, laws, theorems and formulas already learnt by them earlier to exercise their thinking faculty very well and also for class discussions of all these questions and application problems. The author proposes the complete use of the “Invent and Learn” technique from class 3 to class 12 in all primary and high schools and the partial use of this technique in all colleges and universities as much as practically possible all over the world. The author further proposes that the teacher follow the “3-Day Rule” from class 3 to class 12 in all primary and high schools in which every student is given 3 days of that subject's class time apart from the time available at home to invent a new concept, law, theorem or formula with the minimum needed help from the teacher and on the 4th day of the class of that subject, the teacher should give his/her answer in the class if any student is unable to invent it on his/her own. The same “3-Day Rule” should also be followed from class 3 to class 12 in all primary and high schools for inventing as many “questions and application problems and their answers and solutions to the extent they can manage on their own” as possible by the students for every new concept, law, theorem or formula they learn in combination with all the concepts, laws, theorems and formulas already learnt by them earlier. The “3-Day Rule” will ensure a very high exercise of thinking faculty by the students in primary and high schools which they will enjoy a lot, provided - (i) no grading is done on the class performance to keep the "Invent and Learn" technique purely a fun learning process, and (ii) there should be only 40-minute duration for every period from class 3 to class 5 and only 50-minute duration for every period from class 6 to class 12 followed by a 20-minute break for rest, relaxation, fun/recreation, physical movements and social interactions in which mobile should also be allowed for fun purpose so that after the intense thinking involved in using the “Invent and Learn” technique in a period, all students have adequate rest and relaxation. Thus, the "Invent and Learn" technique will develop the students’ self-confidence, curiosity, imagination, questioning spirit, openness and ability to freely and boldly think in all possible directions and from all possible angles, scientific temper, rationality, sincerity, hard work, tenacity, patience and sense of fun while doing the creative efforts and also during break from these efforts for rest and relaxation – which are all the fundamental qualities of mind needed to have a very high level of creativity in every field - to the highest possible level. The author further differentiates between abstract intelligence and concrete intelligence and shows how concrete intelligence is built on the foundation of abstract intelligence and how the "Invent and Learn" technique develops the abstract intelligence and, hence, the concrete intelligence of the students to the highest possible level. The author gives the examples of the "Natural Numbers" and the "Whole Numbers" topics as an application of the "Invent and Learn" technique in this paper to show how it can be implemented in classrooms. The author further talks about how discovering ethical principles using the “Invent and Learn” technique in the classroom by all students is highly likely to lead to an actual commitment by them to following them citing his own example as proof. The author also gives various arguments in details to prove that despite being time-intensive, the “Invent and Learn” technique will not require any curtailing of the syllabus from class 3 to class 12 as a whole by avoiding the repetition of any concept, law, theorem or formula due to the deeper encoding of the memory and the clarity of the logical understanding of everything. The author, further, requests various nations of the world to work under a global committee to formulate and regularly revise syllabus from class 3 to class 12 for all objective subjects like Mathematics, Science, English Grammar, etc. to hire the best global subject experts and to avoid the duplication of the efforts to save time and money and also to bring the whole humanity under the “Invent and Learn” technique to promote the highest possible quality of education and “one human family” vision all over the world

The impact of a young radio galaxy: clues from the cosmic ray electron population

    No full text
In the framework of hierarchical structure formation, active galactic nuclei (AGN) feedback shapes the galaxy luminosity function. Low luminosity, galaxy-scale double radio sources are ideal targets to investigate the interplay between AGN feedback and star formation. We use Very Large Array and BIMA millimetre-wave array observations to study the radio continuum emission of NGC 3801 between 1.4 and 112.4 GHz. We find a prominent spectral break at ~10 GHz, where the spectrum steepens as expected from cosmic ray electron (CRe) ageing. Using the equipartition magnetic field and fitting JP models locally, we create a spatially resolved map of the spectral age of the CRe population. The spectral age of τint = 2.0 ± 0.2 Myr agrees within a factor of 2 with the dynamical age of the expanding X-ray emitting shells. The spectral age varies only little across the lobes, requiring an effective mixing process of the CRe such as a convective backflow of magnetized plasma. The jet termination points have a slightly younger CRe spectral age, hinting at in situ CRe re-acceleration. Our findings support the scenario where the supersonically expanding radio lobes heat the interstellar medium (ISM) of NGC 3801 via shock waves, and, as their energy is comparable to the energy of the ISM, are clearly able to influence the galaxy's further evolution

Let n be a fixed positive integer, R be a prime ring, D and G two derivations of R and L a noncentral Lie ideal of R. Suppose that there exists 0 not equal a a R such that a(D(u)u (n) -u (n) G(u)) = 0 for all u a L, where n a parts per thousand yen 1 is a fixed integer. Then one of the following holds: D = G = 0, unless R satisfies s (4); char (R) not equal 2, R satisfies s (4), n is even and D = G; char (R) not equal 2, R satisfies s (4), n is odd and D and G are two inner derivations induced by b, c respectively such that b + c a C; char (R) = 2 and R satisfies s (4). We also investigate the case when R is a semiprime ring.National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM), India [NBHM/R.P. 26/2012/Fresh/1745]; Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, TUBITAKTurkiye Bilimsel ve Teknolojik Arastirma Kurumu (TUBITAK) [110T586]This work is supported by a grant from National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM), India. Zirconia-ceramic versus metal-ceramic implant-supported multiunit fixed dental prostheses: A systematic review and meta-analysis

    No full text
Implant-supported prostheses could serve as a reliable restorative option for partial edentulism. Various restorative materials have been utilized in fabricating these prostheses, impacting both esthetics and peri-implant health. The present systematic review aimed to assess the survival rate and mechanical complications of zirconia ceramic compared to metal-ceramic implant-supported multiunit fixed dental prostheses (FDPs). We conducted searches in online databases such as MEDLINE (PubMed), Scopus, and Cochrane up until December 2022. A risk-of-bias assessment was done for all the included studies. Data extraction was performed based on the following parameters: author, year, study design, number of implants, abutment material, age range, observation period, incidence of mechanical complications, and survival rate. This systematic review included six studies (four randomized controlled trials and two retrospective studies). The meta-analysis significantly favored metal-ceramic restorations regarding mechanical complications with a risk ratio (RR) value of 1.64 and P = 0.001. Meta-analysis showed no difference in metal-ceramic FDPs in prostheses survival rate (P = 0.63; RR: 1.27, 95% confidence interval: 0.52–3.37; heterogeneity: P = 0.65; I2: 0%). While metal-ceramic multiunit implant-supported prostheses exhibited fewer mechanical complications compared to zirconia-ceramic prostheses, there was no significant difference in terms of prosthesis survival rate between the two. Hence, both treatments appear to be viable options for long-term implant-supported prostheses
