All-terrain mobile robot desinfectant sprayer to decrease the spread of COVID-19 in open area
The application of disinfection is becoming popular in recent months due to the COVID-19. Usually, the disinfection is used by spraying the liquid into an object. However, the disinfection process for humans and objects in the human environment is still done manually and takes time and increases exposure to viruses. Robotic technology can be a solution to handle that problem. Following that problem, robot design is proposed with many abilities and features. The robot can operate in remote conditions and full function for approximately 56 minutes and spray the liquid for more than 1 meter. This research can effectively be applied in COVID-19 handlings

BackgroundToxoplasma gondii, a cosmopolitan protozoan parasite causes toxoplasmosis in humans and many species of domestic and wild animals. T. gondii instigates significant economic losses in sheep and goat farming industry and can lead to abortion, stillbirth, congenital malformations and neonatal losses. The objective of this protocol is to evaluate worldwide seroprevalence of T. gondii exposure in goats using Bayesian hierarchical meta-analysis and geographic information system (GIS).MethodsA comprehensive literature search will be conducted using search engines, including Web of Science, ScienceDirect, Scopus, PubMed, ProQuest, EMBASE, PROSPERO Register and, Google Scholar without date and language restrictions. The authors search for cross-sectional studies that determine the seroprevalence of T. gondii in goats. Two reviewers will independently screen, selected studies; also, they will extract data, and assess the risk of bias. In case(s) of disagreement, a consensus will be reached with the help of a third author. The Bayesian hierarchical meta-analysis will use to estimate country and worldwide true seroprevalence of T. gondii, which is consist of the sensitivity and specificity of the applied serological assays. The obtained data will be used to identify country-level risk factors associated with T. gondii exposure using GIS in the ArcGIS software.DiscussionThe systematic review produced from this protocol will provide the true prevalence rate and spatial distribution T. gondii exposure in goats both regionally and globally using Bayesian hierarchical and GIS analysis.Systematic review registrationPROSPERO registration number: CRD42020107928.</div
Máscaras de la mentira. El nuevo desorden de la posverdad
The book Máscaras de la mentira. El nuevo desorden de la posverdad analyses the lie as text that circulates through the media. RODRÍGUEZ-FERRÁNDIZ provides a solid semiotic theory that helps to understand the boundaries between truth and lies. Through case studies, the author shows truth does not predominate in reality. Instead, post-truth understood as a mediated text, has banalized the lie by altering the proper values of the truth. In fact, according to the author, the era of post-truth is characterized because the truth has become a chimera. Nowadays, a growing amount of people believe more the emotion than the fact itself. For this reason, the author analyses the social media discourse; secondly, the writings of Umberto Eco; thirdly, the photography by Joan Fontcuberta; and finally, the moving image via the mockumentary and reality shows.El libro Máscaras de la mentira. El nuevo desorden de la posverdad de RODRÍGUEZ-FERRÁNDIZ analiza la mentira entendida como texto que circula por los medios de comunicación y desde los cuales ejerce su influencia en cualquiera de sus manifestaciones, como es la posibilidad de modelar la opinión pública. El autor aporta una sólida base teórica con perspectiva semiótica para mostrar que la confusión de los límites que separan la verdad de la mentira es peligrosa, especialmente cuando afecta la política. A través de casos de estudios, el autor muestra ejemplos en los cuales la posverdad ha banalizado la mentira alterando los valores de la verdad, como es el caso de la carrera presidencial de Donald Trump. De hecho, para el autor, la época de la posverdad se caracteriza porque es prácticamente imposible diferenciar entre lo verdadero y lo falso. En este sentido, el autor analiza, en primer lugar, los discursos en medios de comunicación y redes sociales, seguidamente aborda la mentira en los textos escritos a partir de la obra del semiótico Umberto Eco, continúa analizando la capacidad de mentir de la fotografía a través del fotógrafo y teórico Joan Fontcuberta, y finaliza reflexionado sobre la imagen en movimiento a partir del concepto de ficción, el falso documental y la tele realidad. En definitiva, el autor reflexiona sobre la mentira como espectáculo que ha alcanzado una dimensión hasta ahora desconocida y que se presenta como discurso descarado que corre el riego de influenciar la opinión pública
Analyze and optimization of genetic algorithm implemented on maximum power point tracking technique for PV system

Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is supporting device for power
harvesting on Solar Power Generator. This system means to optimalize power transfer
from solar panel array to battery. Power transfering process shown in solar panel
characteristic as I-V curve. This curve depends on weather condition, such as
temperature and irradiation level of the sunlight. Each curve has a point when the
maximum power transfering happens, the coordinate is (Vmpp,Impp). This point called
the Maximum Power Point. MPPT algorithm is used to track the Maximum Power
Point, then convert it into operational voltage which is Vmpp voltage with buck
converter circuit using switching mode PWM.
The purpose of this research is to design hardware of MPPT system based on
Atmega16 microcontroller. This system implements combination of Constant Voltage
and Perturb & Observ algorithms. To control the output voltage, fuzzy logic system is
used to determine the value of PWM. This value of PWM determine the duty cycle on
buck converter circuit to decrease the input voltage from solar panel to Vmpp voltage.
This reseach began with devising buck converter circuit, then followed by devising the
reading voltage and current and its software, then devising the implementation of
tracking algorithm and fuzzy logic control method of Tsukamoto on C language using
AVRStudio4 IDE, and the last is total devising of MPPT hardware and its trial. The trial
has been done at the frontyard of Center for Energy Studies Office of UGM.
