George Meade wrote from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Susan Kean in Elizabethtown, New Jersey. The bulk of Meade’s letter addressed the waterway situation between his and Susan’s yards in Philadelphia. Meade informed Susan that the water from his yard needed to pass through her yard and then through Dr. Rush’s. The deed clearly outlined that Meade’s waterway was to enter her yard. Found it strange that Susan insisted Meade pay the expense.
