El objetivo fundamental del estudio es analizar la relación entre el uso frecuente de medios tecnológicos y las metodologías de enseñanza. Para medir el uso de nuevas tecnologías, se consideraron la informática, el multimedia y las telecomunicaciones. Entre los métodos de enseñanza aplicados por el profesorado de la universidad pública, se consideraron el aprendizaje basado en proyectos, el debate y la demostración. El estudio concluyó que existe una relación significativa entre el uso de nuevas tecnologías y las metodologías de enseñanza, con un valor p de 0,013; por lo tanto, se afirma, con un nivel de confianza del 95%, que la relación es significativa entre ambas variables. Esto se basa en la prueba estadística de chi-cuadrado. En respuesta al objetivo general planteado en el estudio, también se proponen métodos y estrategias para la enseñanza con tecnología informática a partir de la investigación.It is an investigation with participation of students of a public university. The fundamental objective of the research is to see the relationship between the frequent use of technological means with teaching methodologies. To measure the use of new technologies, computer science, multimedia, and telecommunications were considered. Among the teaching methods applied by teachers of a public university; it has been considered to know: by project, discussion and demonstration. The study concluded that there is a significant relationship between the use of new technologies and teaching methodologies; with a "sig" value. 0.013; therefore, it is affirmed at a 95% confidence level, the relationship is significant between both variables.
