Azioni di coinvolgimento, monitoraggio e valutazione nei percorsi verso l’autonomia: un progetto sperimentale nell’area ferrarese
No full textIl capitolo descrive unl progetto sperimentale di accompagnamento all'autonomia avviato in una struttura per neomaggiorenni collocata a Ferrara che si avvale della collaborazione interistituzionale tra Istituto Don Calabria, ente promotore del progetto, Azienda Servizi alla persona del Comune di Ferrara, ente finanziatore e Università di Ferrara, responsabile della sperimentazione e della sua valutazione.
Nello specifico il capitolo approfondisce la metodologia di partecipazione attiva alla progettazione/verifica del proprio percorso di cambiamento pensata e impiegata assieme a ciascun giovane che partecipa alla sperimentazione. L’idea di fondo riguarda la consapevolezza che tempi molto definiti e contenuti per la realizzazione di un intervento (1 anno circa in questo caso) abbiano necessità di essere sostenuti da una progettazione molto definita, realizzabile, realistica e documentabile; co-costruita con ogni singolo ragazzo sulla base delle sue esigenze,possibilità e bisogni; passibile di attuazione progressiva e restituibile in itinere al giovane stesso in modo da rafforzare la sua motivazione, monitorare i risultati progressivamente raggiunti, sostenerlo nel continuo riaggiustamento degli obiettivi da conseguire. Sulla base di queste premesse è stata applicata una metodologia di osservazione attiva, a partire dal modello ideato da Le Poultier (1990) e rielaborato e adottato negli anni novanta in alcune comunità italiane (Bastianoni, 1996, 2000) allo scopo di realizzare uno strumento di osservazione facilmente impiegabile dagli attori dei processi educativi consistente nella co-costruzione congiunta con ogni partecipante al progetto di tre strumenti di progettazione e rilevazione: la lista degli obiettivi, la lista dei descrittori comportamentali che segnalano come questi obiettivi possono essere raggiunti; la lista delle azioni educative che si richiedono all’educatore per essere facilitati nel raggiungimento degli obiettivi prefissati. Segue alla definizione della progettazione, la realizzazione della scheda di rilevazione dei propri comportamenti atti a raggiungere l’obiettivo designato e la scheda di rilevazione delle azioni di sostegno richieste all’educatore. Le schede vengono compilate da ciascun ragazzo a cadenza settimanale e consegnate alla fine della settimana all’educatore in un apposito incontro di riflessione e confronto sull’andamento settimanale che consente al ragazzo di ripensare a ciò che ha fatto e non ha fatto, agli impedimenti che hanno rallentato le sue azioni rivolte all’obiettivo designato in caso di rilevazioni mancanti, alle azioni che, invece, sono andate a buon fine in modo da rafforzare il sentimento di efficacia personale e la motivazione a perseguire gli obiettivi prefissati. La riflessione congiunta a scadenza settimanale consente anche di avere accesso a uno spazio reale e mentale dove ciascun giovane sperimenta il benessere dell’essere nella mente di un altro –l’educatore- con il quale co- costruisce un percorso, condividendone difficoltà e soddisfazioni. L’esperienza della co-costruzione e della condivisione affettiva consente nel tempo di interiorizzare un modello dello stare conl’altro caratterizzato da interesse, accoglienza, sintonizzazione affettiva, partecipazione e collaborazione che è premessa ad ogni reale e autentico processo di emancipazione dell’individuo.
L’autonomia, in questa accezione non è intesa ad un livello superficiale come la capacità di fare e di stare da soli ma è la conquista di un percorso relazionale in cui si è potuto sperimentare lo stare con un altro significativo, con-dividere, co-costruire per poi sentirsi capace di procedere da solo avendo interiorizzato la sicurezza di potercela fare, di essere capace ma anche di poter richiedere aiuto e riceverlo quando si è in difficoltà
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
