Perception of health care professionals on compulsory vaccination in slovenia
Metode: Uporabili smo kvantitativno metodologijo in opisno metodo zbiranja podatkov.
Introduction: We have learned that vaccination is the most effective method to prevent infectious diseases. Because more and more people, including health professionals, express doubts about vaccination, we decided to investigate the views of health professionals regarding the compulsory vaccination program.
Methods: We used a quantitative methodology and the descriptive method of data collection. The survey questionnaire was distributed to 100 health professionals employed in one of the hospitals and a community health center in the east of the country. The data were processed with basic statistics employing the statistical program IBM SPSS Statistics.
Results: Despite the negative connotation of vaccination, the vast majority of health professionals still advocate vaccination and believe that the compulsory vaccination program should be maintained. If the vaccination program was no longer mandatory, respondents would still vaccinate their children against infectious diseases that are a part of the mandatory vaccination program. Slightly fewer respondents opt for vaccinations that are voluntary citing negative side effects, such as pain, swelling, redness at the vaccination point, fever, and an allergic reaction.
Discussion and conclusion: Parents play a big role in vaccinating their children. Therefore, all relevant resources that inform and empower them about vaccination must be available to them so that parents can form a positive opinion and vaccinate their children. The most important source of education and awareness for young parents is and should be the health professionals who motivate and inform them because health professionals are high on the scale regarding the level of trust. Especially because of that, we need a professional approach and an interpersonal relationship so that we can build trust with children and parents

SULLA POESIA E IL LINGUAGGIO POETICO DI JURE BALAŽ
In the paper the author analyses the presence of thečakavian idiom of Novo Selo in the works of Jure Baláž, the Croatian poet from Novo Selo in Slovakia, as well as the influence of Slovak on the language of these works.

Responsible Innovation and De Jure Standardisation: An In-Depth Exploration of Moral Motives, Barriers, and Facilitators
Standardisation is increasingly seen as a means to insert ethics in innovation processes. We examine the institutionalisation of responsible innovation in de jure standardisation as this is an important but unexplored research area. In de jure standardisation, stakeholders collaborate in committees to develop standards. We adopt the anticipation, inclusion, reflexivity, and responsiveness responsible innovation framework as our theoretical lens. Our study suggests that responsible standardisation processes should embody forms of these four dimensions. We investigate the institutionalisation of these dimensions and identify 96 factors that can motivate, hinder, or facilitate responsible standardisation. Factors were found through in-depth interviews with managers of a standard developing organisation. These are subsequently validated/rejected using surveys completed by committee representatives. The results suggest that the social desirability of standards is not self-evident. This study could pave the way for future research on responsible standardisation processes, complementing research on legitimacy, responsible innovation, and standardisation

Beyond Formal Agreements: EU Agencies' Cooperation with Third Countries
Third countries' participation in European Union (EU) agencies is attracting increasing attention as venues for differentiated European integration. Research has started to vest into the host of formal agreements regulating this cooperation. However, regulatory outreach by EU agencies may be more important than it is stated de jure, as many forms of cooperation do not necessarily entail formal legal requirements. In this comparative study, we explore the extent to which third countries' de facto participation in EU agencies aligns with what agreements establish de jure. We compare de facto participation and de jure access to EU agencies in four sectoral regimes that differ in their regulatory powers and patterns of EU–third country interdependence: energy, chemicals, public health and border control. We find that agencies with regulatory powers tend to align de facto participation with de jure access. In contrast, agencies that lack regulatory competence are more open to informal de facto cooperation, also in the absence of or beyond formal de jure agreements, in particular when the EU's sectoral interdependence is high. These findings have important implications for the study of external differentiated integration, as they underline the contribution of functionalist technocratic outreach by EU secondary bodies in de facto reinforcing and/or expanding EU centrifugal forces beyond EU borders.</p
Second Thoughts? Ordinum Pietas and the Tractatus de Jure Magistratuum
Within 10 months after the publication of Ordinum Pietas Grotius finished work on another book partly on the same subject, his Tractatus de jure magistratuum, which remained unpublished. In 1997 that work was rediscovered in manuscript form. In this paper the author examines the differences and correspondences between the two treatises, and gives a characterization of them. He suggests answers to the question why Grotius wrote the Tractatus as he did, and why he did not publish it after all. © 2013 Koninklijke Brill NV, Leiden
This essay aims to reconstruct the contractual model of establishment of State, which
is present at an embryonic stage in Hugo Grotius’ De Jure praedae (1604-1608). In doing
so, it will give particular emphasis to the anthropological assumptions of this contractual
doctrine, taking due account of the strong influence that Calvinist theological
voluntarism still had on the young author at the time when he wrote this commentary

De jure versus de facto institutions: trust, information, and collective efforts to manage the invasive mile-a-minute weed (Mikania micrantha)
abstract: Differences in governance relationships and community efforts to remove an exotic, rapidly spreading invasive plant, the-mile-a-minute weed (Mikania micrantha), are explored in five case study community forests in the subtropical region of Chitwan, Nepal. An institutional analysis informs an examination of the de jure (formal) versus de facto (on the ground) institutions and actor relationships relevant to Mikania removal efforts. Contrary to the expectations set by the de jure situation, we find heterogeneous governance relationships and norms related to Mikania management across community forests. Content analysis of interview data illuminates reoccurring themes and their implications for social and ecological outcomes in the communities. Complex governance relationships and regular discussion of distrust of government and non-government officials help explain collective action efforts and management decisions. The content analysis suggests that Mikania is impacting people’s daily lives but the degree of severity and the response to the disruption varies substantially and is heavily affected by other problems experienced by community forest members. Our results indicate that understanding how the de facto, or on the ground situation, differs from the de jure institutions may be vital in structuring successful efforts to manage invasive species and understanding collective action problems related to other social-ecological threats. We present data-informed propositions about common pool resource management and invasive species. This study contributes to a better scientific understanding of how institutions mediate social-ecological challenges influencing common pool resources more broadly. The final version of this article, as published in International Journal of the Commons, can be viewed online at: https://www.thecommonsjournal.org/article/10.18352/ijc.676
