PENGEMBANGAN MODEL AGROINDUSTRI BERBASIS SISTEM USAHATANI TERPADU DI WILAYAH PASANG SURUT
Integrated farming system is directed to extend the biological cycle through optimizing the utilization of by-products of agriculture and animal husbandry as well. Each link within chain cycle may then provide new product that has high economic value, so that this system is expected for empowerment and utilization of marginal land throughout the region optimally.
The aims of this study were (a) to provide model of agroindustry development on the basis of compatible integrated farming systems to support agricultural development for tidal lands areas, (b) to determine several factors as support for agroindustrial region development in order to increase the performance of integrated farming economically, technical, and social communities, so that it may support farming system to empower the sustainability of farming in tidal areas, and (c) to obtain strategic formulation of agroindustry development based on integrated farming system to support support agricultural development in Pulang Pisau district.
Basic study method was descriptive. Primary data collection was conducted using survey methods and interviews in Pulang Pisau district, Central Kalimantan, in May 2011 to December 2011.
The develoment of model for agroindustry at tidal lands was based on condition and charactristics that specific to location. Agroindusty development at tidal lands was carried out using integrated holistic approach in which it was conducted in an integrated system with sinergy and harmony between components and sub-systems, both commodity and technology and external support as well.
The result of optimization describe that land area of 2.25 hectares owned by farmers can optimize the output of integrated farming and agro-industry to support the decision of farmers for the cultivation of rice with acreage 1.89 hectares and farm production cost of Rp 850 62
Sistem Pengambilan Keputusan untuk Pengembangan Usahatani Terpadu di Lahan Pasang Surut
Integrated farming system is intendend to extend the biological cycle through an optimal use of farming, plantation, and animal husbandry by-products. The purposes of this study were to design an information system that would support the decision making in an integrated farming system management of tidal swamp lands and to determine the feasibility of an integrated farming system based on an eonomic analysis of type B and C of tidal swamp lands in Gandang vil- lage of Central Kalimantan. This study was carried out from July to September 2008 in Gandang village, Maliku sub district, Pulang Pisau district of Central Kalimantan. The methods used were field surveys and interviews. The data that had been collected and verified in the field were then classified and compiled. These data were then analysed to create a database for a decision support system model of an integrated farming development in the tidal swamp lands of Gandang village, which was processed using Borland Delphi 7.0. The results of decision analysis indicated that the average size of land owned by the farmers was 3.25 hectares for which 1.47 hectares, 0.61 hectares, and 0.91 hectare were used for paddy, coffee, and grass cultivation, respectively; they also had two cows. From such uses, they obtained a profit of Rp 9.020.843 per farmer per year.ABSTRAKSistem pertanian terpadu diarahkan pada upaya memperpanjang siklus biologis dengan mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan hasil samping pertanian, perkebunan dan peternakan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendesain sistem informasi untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan dalam pengelolaan sistem usahatani secara terpadu di wilayah lahan pasang surut, dan menentukan tingkat kelayakan sistem usahatani terpadu berdasarkan analisis ekonomi di wilayah lahan pasang surut tipe B dan C Desa Gandang, Kalimantan Tengah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli sampai dengan September 2008 di desa Gandang, kecamatan Maliku, kabupaten Pulang Pisau, Kalimantan Tengah. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei lapangan dan wawancara. Hasil pengambilan data dan verifikasi lapangan disusun dan dikompilasi. Selanjutnya dianalisis untuk tujuan penyusunan database model sistem pengambilan keputusan untuk pengembangan usahatani terpadu di lahan pasang surut desa Gandang, Kecamatan Maliku, Kabupaten Pulang Pisau, dan diolah menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Borland Delphi 7.0. Hasil analisis keputusan menunjukkan bahwa luas lahan petani rata-rata 3,25 hektar dapat mengusahakan tanaman padi seluas 1,47 hektar, kopi seluas 0,61 hek- tar, tanaman rumput seluas 0,91 hektar dan memelihara ternak sapi 2 ekor, dapat menghasilkan keuntungan (profit) sebanyak Rp 9.020.843,00/petani/ tahun
Uji Alat Tanam dan Pemupuk Lahan Kering di Kecamatan Cempaga Kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur Kalimantan Tengah
Assessment of machinery and equipment for seed planting and 1st fertilizing was conducted in Pundu,Cempaga District, Kotawaringin Timur regency. Method of assessment used on farm research and area of each crop isone hectare consisting of two cooperating farmers. All of the three crops were planted in wet season (October). Boththe equipment and machinery were operated using four wheel tractor of more than >40 Horse Power (HP) modified byBalai Besar Alat dan Mesin Pertanian, Serpong. Aims of the assessment were to determine the performance ofagricultural machinery for seed planting of rice, maize, and soybean. Performance test of seed planting machinesconsisted of three replications. Results showed that use of planting and fertilizing machines is equal to 2 hours/hectarewith 2 operators. Human labour used in each crop is not equal and it depended on cropping spaces. Labour used forfarming practice of rice, maize, and soybean was 450 hours/ha, 150 hours/ha, and 300 hours/ha, respectively.Performance of equipment and machinery for rice cultivation was 4 ha or 2 ha/1 man day (MD) per day using 2operators. It was equal to 112,5 MD using human labour and it can save the cost of labour as many as Rp 536.938.Key words : planting machine, dry-land, rice, maize, soybeanPengkajian alat dan mesin penanam benih dan pemupukan pertama dilaksanakan di lahan kering desa Pundu,kecamatan Cempaga, kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur. Kegiatan ini dilakukan secara on farm research dengan luasmasing-masing 1ha dan melibatkan 2 petani kooperator untuk setiap komoditas. Ketiga komoditas ditanam padamusim hujan (Oktober). Alat tanam dan pemupuk yang telah dikaji adalah alat tanam benih dan pemupuk yang ditarikmenggunakan traktor roda empat >40 HP hasil modifikasi dari Balai Besar Alat dan Mesin Pertanian Serpong. Tujuandari kegiatan pengkajian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kinerja alat dan mesin pertanian sebagai alat tanam benih padi,kedelai, dan jagung, serta mengetahui prospek dari alat dan mesin penanam benih dan pemupuk tersebut. Metode yangdigunakan adalah metode uji kinerja atau fungsional alat tanam benih dan pemupuk dengan 3 ulangan. Untukmengetahui tingkat kelayakan penggunaan alat tanam dan pemupukan, digunakan analisis finansial USAhatani(MBCR). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa dengan penggunaan alat mesin tanam kapasitas kerja lapang untuktanam dan pemupukan pertama pada masing-masing komoditiadalah sama yaitu dilakukan dalam 2 jam/ha dengan 2orang operator. Penggunaan tenaga manusia tidak sama pada masing-masing komoditas tergantung jarak tanam yangdigunakan, yaitu tanaman padi waktu yang digunakan untuk tanam dan pemupukan pertama adalah 450 jam/ha,jagung 150 jam/ha, dan kedelai 300 jam /ha. Kinerja alat untuk tanaman padi dalam 1 hari dengan 2 orang operatoradalah 4 ha atau 2 ha/1 HOK sama dengan 112,5 HOK dengan tenaga manusia dan dapat menghemat biaya tenagakerja Rp. 536.938. Respon petani dan pemerintah daerah cukup positif dalam kegiatan pengkajian ini. Diharapkandengan alat tanam dan pemupuk ini pemerintah dapat membantu petani dalam permasalahan tenaga kerja, perluasanareal tanam untuk peningkatan peroduksi dan meningkatkan pendapatan petani
ANALISIS SISTEM USAHATANI TERPADU DI LAHAN PASANG SURUT UNTUK MENDUKUNG PENGEMBANGAN AGROINDUSTRI WILAYAH (An Analysis Integrated Farming System in Tidal Swamp Land to Support Regional Agroindustrial Development)
Integrated farming system was directed to the efforts to lengthen biological cycle by optimizing the use of agriculture and livestock by-products. Each chain of cycle resulted a new product that has high economic value, so this system was expected to optimize the empowerment and use of marginal land in all regions. The objective of this research was to analyze integrated farming system in tidal swamp land to support agroindustry development in Pulang Pisau Regency of Central Kalimantan Province. This research was done with survey and interview method in Pulang Pisau Regency of Central Kalimantan Province. Primary data was collected from May 2011 to December 2011. The results showed that the management of agro-based enterprises integrated farming (rice, coffee and cattle) obtained by the BC Ratio = 1.09, (greater than 1), IRR = 16,7% greater than the rate bank interest rate (12%) and NPV values obtained for Rp 37,349,080 is positive (+), then the utilization of integrated agro-based farming in tidal land eligible to be developed. Agro-industry development opportunities based integrated farming in tidal land in the future have a chance to be applied in other areas, it can anticipate the growing number of people who have added each year.

ABSTRAK
Sistem pertanian terpadu diarahkan pada upaya memperpanjang siklus biologis dengan mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan hasil samping pertanian dan peternakan. Setiap mata rantai siklus menghasilkan produk baru yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi, sehingga dengan sistem ini diharapkan pemberdayaan dan pemanfaatan lahan marginal di seluruh daerah dapat lebih dioptimalkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistem usahatani terpadu (Integrated Farming System) di lahan pasang surut untuk mendukung pengembangan agroindustri di Kabupaten Pulang Pisau Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode survei dan wawancara di Kabupaten Pulang Pisau Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2011 sampai dengan Desember 2011. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan usaha agroindustri berbasis usahatani terpadu (padi, kopi dan ternak sapi) diperoleh nilai BC Ratio = 1,09 (lebih besar dari 1), IRR = 16,7% lebih besar dari nilai suku bunga bank (12%) dan nilai NPV diperoleh sebesar Rp 37.349.080 bernilai positif (+), maka pengusahaan agroindustri berbasis usahatani terpadu di lahan pasang surut layak untuk dikembangkan. Pengembangan agroindustri berbasis usahatani terpadu di lahan pasang surut ke depan memiliki peluang untuk diterapkan di daerah lain, hal ini dapat mengantisipasi pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk yang setiap tahunnya mengalami pertambahan.

AKSELERASI ADOPSI INOVASI TEKNOLOGI MELALUI DEMFARM VARIETAS UNGGUL BARU PADI DI KABUPATEN LANDAK KALIMANTAN BARAT
Demonstrasi Farming merupakan salah satu metode penyampaian hasil-hasil penelitian dan pengguna kepada petani dan pengguna lainnya melalui peragaan teknologi untuk mempercepat adopsi teknologi. Tujuan kegiatan mendiseminasikan inovasi teknologi varietas unggul baru padi melalui Demonstrasi Farming dalam rangka mempercepat adopsi teknologi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Kelompok Tani Nek Sama, Desa Aur Sampuk, Kecamatan Sengah Temila, Kabupaten Landak dengan waktu pelaksanaan dimulai bulan Juni sampai dengan Oktober 2021.  Paket teknologi budidaya padi dilakukan dengan pendekatan Pengelolaan Tanaman Terpadu (PTT). Variabel yang diamati meliputi : 1). Implementasi Inovasi Teknologi Demfarm Padi, 2). Produktivitas Padi dan 3). Penyebaran dan peluang Adopsi Teknologi. Hasil kegiatan Demfarm menunjukkan introduksi Varietas Unggul Baru (VUB) yang  dikombinasikan dengan pendekatan PTT mampu meningkatkan produktivitas padi untuk Varietas Inpari 32 sebesar 39,00 % dan Varietas Inpari 37 sebesar 33,33 % dibandingkan produktivitas teknologi eksisting petani.  Inovasi teknologi Demfarm Padi yang berpeluang untuk diadopsi meliputi; penggunaan varietas unggul (91,67 %), penggunaan benih bermutu/bersertifikat dan perlakuan benih (88,33 %), pengendalian hama terpadu sesuai OPT sasaran dengan pendekatan PHT (91,67 %), sistem olah tanah sempurna (81,67 %) dan sistem tanam bibit 2 – 3 batang per rumpun (76,67 %). Diseminasi teknologi melalui Demfarm Padi dan Temu Lapang memberikan respon yang baik kepada petani kooperator maupun petani lainnya baik di wilayah lokasi pelaksanaan maupun di luar wilayah pelaksanaan melalui keunggulan teknologi yang didemonstrasikan sehingga dapat dijadikan contoh dan media bagi pengguna teknololg
Effect of planting system and seedling number on growth and rice yield rice Inpari-IR-Nutri Zinc
Rice Inpari-IR-Nutri Zinc is a biofortified product with a high zinc content compared to other types of rice. This study aimed to obtain the best planting system and the number of seeds in increasing the growth and yield of Inpari IR Nutri Zinc. This study used a Divided Plot Design which was repeated four times. There was a total of 32 treatment combinations. The planting system (S) is placed as the main plot consisting of S1 (4: 1 Legowo Planting System) and S2 (Tile Planting System), while the number of seeds (J) as sub-plots consists of J1 (1 seed), J2 (3) seeds), J3 (3 seeds) and J4 (7 seeds). The planting system and the number of seeds had a significant effect on the variables of plant height, total tiller number, number of productive tillers, the weight of 1,000 seeds, panicle length, and rice production of Inpari IR Nutri Zinc. The use of seeds of 1 and 3 plants produced 4.74 and 4.60 tons/ha. The legowo 4: 1 planting system had 4.8

Konjac Glucomannan: A Functional Dietary Fiber for Gut Health, Metabolic Regulation, and Clinical Applications – A Comprehensive Review
This study aims to review the potential of Konjac Glucomannan (KGM) as a functional dietary fiber in improving digestive health, regulating metabolism, and its clinical applications. The focus is on KGM's benefits in weight management, glycemic control, and modulation of gut microbiota. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to examine various studies on KGM's extraction methods, structural composition, physiological effects, and clinical uses. The review also addresses KGM’s regulatory status and safety to ensure appropriate dosing standards and long-term efficacy. Results demonstrate that KGM forms a gel matrix in the gastrointestinal tract, promoting satiety, reducing glucose absorption, and influencing lipid metabolism. Additionally, KGM exhibits prebiotic properties that support beneficial gut microbiota and enhance gut barrier integrity through the production of short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs). KGM's role in improving metabolic health and digestive function highlights its potential as a promising dietary fiber. Future research should focus on optimizing KGM formulations, exploring its role in personalized nutrition based on microbiome composition, and investigating its impact on neurological and metabolic disorders. This review emphasizes the need for further clinical trials to better understand KGM's therapeutic applications and long-term effects in promoting health and preventing disease
