Yerine vekil tayin edildiği Tebük Seferi hariç, Hz. Peygamber’in katıldığı savaşların tümüne iştirak etti. Allah Resûlü, yazdığı şiirleriyle Müslümanlara hakaret eden Ka’b b. Eşref’in öldürülme görevini ona verdi. Allah Resûlü’nün katılmadığı askerî birliklerin bazılarında komutan olarak görevlendirildi. Râşid Halifeler Dönemi’nde önemli görevlere getirildi. Özellikle vali ve vergi memurlarını denetlemesindeki üstün yeteneği ve gayretinden dolayı Hz. Ömer’in vazgeçemediği bir müfettişi hâline geldi. Sa’d b. Ebî Vakkas’ın Kûfe’deki kabilelerle yaşadığı sıkıntı ve yaptırdığı saray hakkında çıkan dedikoduların iç yüzünü araştırmak amacıyla görevlendirildi. Mısır valisi Amr b. Âs’ın fazla mal biriktirdiği ile ilgili söylemler üzerine oraya gönderilerek Amr’ın malına müsadere uyguladı. Hz. Ömer tarafından zekât âmili olarak görevlendirildi. Müslümanlar arasında çıkan fitnelerden uzak durdu. Hz. Peygamber’in hadisini gerekçe göstererek Hz. Muhammad bin Maslamah declared his faith in the Beloved Prophet following the historic migration to
Madinah and remained a devoted companion to him. Muhammad bin Maslamah participated in all the
wars that the Beloved Prophet fought except when he was assigned a deputy during the Battle of Tabuk.
The Beloved Prophet gave this companion the mission of destroying Ka'b ibn al-Ashraf, who insulted
Muslims with his offensive and hurtful poems. He was even put in charge of commanding some of the
military operations during which the Beloved Prophet was not physically present. He was also put in
charge of some essential duties during the Caliphate Period. Thanks to his outstanding ability to supervise
governors and tax officers, he became an indispensable supervisor for the second Caliphate, Omar bin Al
Khattab. He was once appointed to investigate the gossip-based information spread about the problems
that Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas had with the tribes of Kufah, as well as those spread about the palace Sa'd b. Abi
Waqqas himself was having built then. Upon the rumours that Amr ibn al-'As, the governor of Egypt, had
been accumulating too much property, Muhammad bin Maslamah was sent to Egypt to confiscate all his
property. Moreover, he was made responsible for collecting alms on the order of the Caliphate Omar bin
Al Khattab. However, he always remained cautious about distancing himself from the disturbances that
occurred among the Muslims during the Caliphate Period. In fact, citing a hadith of the Beloved Prophet,
he did not swear allegiance to the fourth Caliphate, Ali ibn Abi Talib, nor did he fight in the battles of

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. This study aims to 1) find out how the process of development teaching materials 2) find out the quality of appropriate learning tools.
This research is a research and development (R&D) research that uses the ADDIE model, this development is carried out in 5 stages, namely the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The subject of this study consisted of 6 students with details of 2 upper level students, 2 medium level students, and 2 low level students.
Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: 1) learning devices are produced with the analysis stage, which requires analysis from students. After analyzing enter the design stage. At the design stage determine the main goals and objectives. the design stage is completed, followed by the development stage which includes the assessment of experts. After the assessment of the experts, the next stage is the implementation and evaluation stages. at this stage the implementation of the trial on 6 students and given an evaluation of the learning device. 2) the resulting learning tools are in the form of syllabus, lesson plans, and learning materials. Based on the results of validation by experts the learning tools developed can be used with revisions, and the average student response regarding this learning device is positive

Kondisi saat ini, akhlak generasi muda banyak yang mengalami
kemerosotan, baik dari etika, moral dan sikap perilakunya. Terlebih ketika
seseorang tersebut menjadi peserta didik atau siswa di sekolah. Dalam lingkup
sekolah, peserta didik tidak hanya semata-mata hanya untuk belajar pengetahuan,
tetapi peserta didik harus belajar menghadapi situasi-situasi yang bersangkutan
dengan kehidupan pribadi maupun masyarakat umum. Untuk menghadapi situasi
tersebut tentunya perlu adanya bimbingan, arahan, dan proses pembinaan untuk
mengubah perilaku siswa yang menyimpang dari akhlak mulia tersebut. Proses
pembinaan tersebut pasti mendapatkan pengaruh baik dari pengaruh eksternal
maupun internal yang nantinya akan menghasilkan dampak yang baik dari setiap
proses pembinaan tersebut.
Penelitian ini mempunyai fokus penelitian yaitu proses pembinaan akhlak
siswa di MTs Nurul Huda Pule, dampak pembinaan akhlak siswa di MTs Nurul
Huda Pule, dan hambatan pembinaan akhlak siswa di MTs Nurul Huda Pule.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membantu siswa dalam mewujudkan
perubahan baik melalui proses pembinaan yang dilaksanakan, meminimalisir
hambtan yang terjadi selama proses pembinaan, guna mendapatkan hasil atau
dampak yang di harapkan dari setiap proses pembinaan tersebut.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yaitu dengan
mendiskripsikan suatu data yang diperoleh dari penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan
data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang
dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Kemudian tahap-tahap penelitian terdiri dari
tahap pra tindakan dan tahap pelaksanaan penelitian (perencanaan, pelaksanaan,
evaluasi).
Hasil analisis setelah proses pembinaan ini adalah terlihat adanya
perubahan dari tahap pembinaan pertama, siswa mengurangi perilaku
penyimpangan yang terjadi di lingkungan sekolah selama proses pembelajaran
dikelas maupun diluar kelas. Dampak yang terjadi selama proses pembinaan
menghasilkan perubahan yang baik dari setiap siswa, hal itu dengan dukungan
pemberian motivasi dari pihak yang terkait di lingkungan lembaga yang
bersangkutan. Untuk mendapatkan dampak yang diharapkan terdapat beberapa
hambatan, hambatan tersebut muncul dari dalam diri siswa sendiri maupun dari
pihak sekolah, dan prasarana sekolah. Untuk mengatasi beberapa hambatan
tersebut perlu adanya kerja sama antara siswa dan pihak sekolah yang terkait dari

Get PDFWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
