Panorama de la colaboración científica en los artículos originales de la Revista Cubana de Ingeniería (2010-2017) : estudio métrico
No full textObjetivo: analizar el comportamiento métrico de la colaboración científica en los artículos originales de la Revista Cubana de Ingeniería (2010-2017).Metodología: estudio métrico-descriptivo, con perspectiva cuantitativa y enfoque retrospectivo. Se creó una base de datos "ad hoc" con 171 artículos como muestra objeto de análisis. Se aplican determinados indicadores métricos para el análisis de la colaboración científica.Resultados: el 94% de los artículos originales se realizó bajo la autoría múltiple, solamente 10 artículos fueron firmados por un solo autor. El promedio de autores por artículo fue aproximadamente 2; no obstante, un sólo trabajo fue firmado por 8 autores. Conclusiones: Predomina la colaboración nacional en el estudio. Se destaca la CUJAE, CUB como la institución más colaboradora y por lo tanto Cuba resulta el país más colaborador. El poder de atracción de la revista es muy bajo en relación con la internacionalización de la producción científica analizada.Objective: to analyze the metric behavior of scientific collaboration in the original articles of the Cuban Journal of Engineering (2010-2017). Competencias digitales en los profesionales de información: el analista bibliométrico
No full textEn la sociedad de hoy, marcada por un proceso de transformación digital, juegan un papel esencial las competencias digitales. La importancia de adquirirlas resulta vital para el individuo del siglo XXI y, en particular, para el profesional de información como analista bibliométrico. Objetivo. Con la finalidad de profundizar en este tema, el presente artículo pretende exponer las particularidades de las competencias digitales y destacar el rol del analista bibliométrico en cuanto al desarrollo de estas competencias en correspondencia en la Cuarta Revolución Industrial (4IR). Diseño/Metodología/Enfoque. Se realizó un análisis documental, que utilizó el método histórico y lógico para los referentes históricos y teóricos de los objetos de estudio y el método inducción- deducción orientada desde la articulación filosófica de lo general, lo particular y lo singular. Resultados/Discusión. Las competencias digitales requeridas para el desempeño efectivo de los profesionales de la información con perfil analista bibliométrico son variadas y complejas. Se identificaron competencias relacionadas con el manejo de herramientas de análisis bibliométricos, la gestión de bases de datos bibliográficas, la visualización de datos científicos, la evaluación de la calidad de la información, y la comunicación efectiva de los resultados bibliométricos. Conclusiones. Finalmente, se enfatiza en el papel que debe desempeñar este profesional ante los nuevos cambios tecnológicos. Aporte: constituye un referente para nuevas pautas e investigaciones en la labor del analista bibliométrico, ante los contextos digitales y en particular los acontecimientos de la cuarta revolución industrial.
Analysis of the topic COVID-19: approach from the academic social network ResearchGate
No full textIntroduction: COVID-19 is the research topic that is being worked on and published the most today, since it is a pandemic that has paralyzed the entire world. The increase in scientific production on the disease and the essential role that social scientific communication media are assuming on the Web for the dissemination and visibility of research results, provide the appropriate scenario to measure this scientific activity using altimetric indicators.
Objective: To analyze the behavior of scientific production on the topic COVID-19, based on altimetric indicators, in the academic social network ResearchGate during the period 2019-2021.
Material and Methods: Metric-descriptive research of transversal nature. The sample studied is non-probabilistic and intentional.
Results: Health professionals are those who have obtained the highest academic and social visibility on the platform in the chosen period.
Conclusions: It was found that, both at the author level and at the document level, there is little academic and social visibility within the platform; however, the most visible authors in these aspects have managed to transmit that visibility to the works published in relation to the pandemic

El incremento de la producción científica sobre la enfermedad y el rol primordial que están asumiendo los medios de comunicación científico- sociales en la Web para la difusión y visibilidad de los resultados investigativos, propician el escenario adecuado para medir esa actividad científica utilizando indicadores altimétricos.Objetivo: Analizar el comportamiento de la producción científica sobre la temática COVID-19, a partir de indicadores altimétricos, en la red social académica ResearchGate durante el período 2019-2021.Material y Métodos: Investigación métrica-descriptiva, de carácter transversal. La muestra estudiada es no probabilística e intencional.Resultados: Los profesionales de la salud son los que han obtenido mayor visibilidad académica y social en la plataforma en el período escogido.Conclusiones: Se pudo constatar que, tanto a nivel de autor como a nivel de documento, hay poca visibilidad académica y social dentro de la plataforma; sin embargo, los autores más visibles en estos aspectos han logrado trasmitir esa visibilidad a los trabajos publicados en relación a la pandemia
