Divulgación e intervención en debates públicos de y desde la sociología en Argentina (1983-2024)
No full textEste proyecto busca realizar un aporte sobre las prácticas de comunicación pública de la sociología y su papel en el debate público. Además, pretende reconstruir los mecanismos e instituciones por los que el saber académico sociológico se ha desplazado desde las universidades a instancias de intervención pública, como medios masivos, libros de divulgación, editoriales y redes sociales. La investigación abarca el período desde la recuperación de la democracia en 1983 hasta 2024, con énfasis en la última década, marcada por el auge de la digitalización. Sobre el enfoque metodológico, se propone un diseño multisituado y multimétodo, combinando técnicas cuantitativas y cualitativas. Se relevarán materiales muy diversos, que incluyen propuestas y dispositivos institucionales como también intervenciones públicas de sociólogos en medios y redes sociales. Se busca así reconstruir la circulación del conocimiento sociológico desde ámbitos académicos hacia el debate público, y viceversa; y entender cómo se articulan producción, enseñanza y difusión del conocimiento entre públicos más amplios. También se explorarán las estrategias y los marcos de sentido que actores e instituciones utilizan para la comunicación pública de la sociología. Basado en proyectos previos sobre sociologías pragmatistas que invitan a preguntarnos por el lugar que los sociólogos como expertos de un campo tienen en el debate público, esta investigación aspira a contribuir al conocimiento de un campo incipiente y no sistematizado como es la divulgación de la sociología. In this work the figures of Simón Bolívar, Manuelita Sáenz, José de San Martín and José Antonio de Sucre stand out. Guerrillas from the central mountains such as Ignacio Quispe Ninavilca, Isidoro Villar, José Antonio Manrique and Fray Bruno Terreros, a Franciscan priest who commanded a guerrilla in Jauja and later joined the liberating army, also act in different roles.En este ensayo, el autor hace una relectura de la obra de Sánchez, contextualizando históricamente la novela con sus principales protagonistas y acciones realizadas en pro de la independencia peruana. Taxation and the Financial Structure of German Outbound FDI
Get PDFThe paper analyzes the financial structure of outbound FDI during the period 1996-2002 by drawing on up to 54,022 firm-year observations of 13,758 German-owned subsidiaries. We find that the tax rate in the host country has a sizeable and significantly positive effect on leverage for wholly-owned foreign unlike partially-owned foreign companies. Most of the effect comes from increased intra-company borrowing, while third-party debt is not significantly affected by tax differences. While wholly-owned subsidiaries react more sensitively to tax rate differentials, they are less sensitive to macroeconomic influences like interest rates.foreign direct investment, financial structure, capital structure, taxation

No full textEl autor de La comuna mexicana no acude a los trabajos de Foucault ni a las conceptualizaciones de Derrida, y es posible que la palabra “archivo” se encuentre mencionada contadas veces a lo largo del libro, pero, sin embargo, no resulta arriesgado decir que su intervención propone una lectura de corte arqueológico sobre dos series de archivos que pretende intersectar. La primera, minada de vacíos, corresponde a los archivos de los alzamientos populares en México, que atraviesan la historia del territorio, en cuyo recorrido se enlazan los levantamientos indígenas durante la conquista, la Revolución mexicana y las protestas ciudadanas vividas en los primeros años de la década del 2000; la segunda, apenas menos extensa, concierne al vasto acervo de publicaciones, escritos, cartas y apuntes reunidos bajo la firma de Marx, y al largo desfile de personas que lo estudiaron y editaron, tanto en Europa como en América Latina.
Abstract
The author of La comuna mexicana does not resort to the works of Foucault or the conceptualizations of Derrida, and it is possible that the word "archive" is mentioned only a few times throughout the book, but, nevertheless, it is not risky to say that his intervention proposes an archeological reading of two series of archives that he intends to intersect. The first, full of gaps, corresponds to the archives of the popular uprisings in Mexico, which traverse the history of the territory, linking the indigenous uprisings during the conquest, the Mexican Revolution and the citizen protests experienced in the early 2000s; the second, hardly less extensive, concerns the vast collection of publications, writings, letters and notes gathered under Marx's signature, and the long parade of people who studied and edited him, both in Europe and Latin America

Magnetic properties of CoNi nanowires and nanotubes: Insights from micromagnetic simulations and composition-dependent equations
Get PDFWe conducted micromagnetic simulations of CoNi nanowires and nanotubes to study their magnetic properties as a function of their composition. We found that the hysteresis curves for isolated CoNi nanowires exhibit a square trend with an easy axis of magnetization along the nanowire axis. The coercivity and normalized remanence show a U-shaped behavior, with maximum values at Ni and Co and minimum values for the Co40Ni60 alloy. The hysteresis curves for CoNi nanotubes maintain the square trend of nanowires, but with a clear decrease in coercivity and an asymmetric V-shaped behavior for coercivity and normalized remanence. Our research offers valuable and comprehensive insights into the magnetic properties of CoNi nanowires and nanotubes. It underscores the significant influence of composition on magnetic properties, which holds great relevance for potential applications. Our approach, involving the prediction of static magnetic properties through micromagnetic simulations and tailored equations designed for nanostructures, rather than relying on bulk parameters, aligns more closely with the nature of these physical systems. This alignment is validated by the strong agreement with previously reported experimental results. Our work lays a solid foundation for the deliberate design of CoNi nanowires and nanotubes with specific magnetic properties tailored for articular applications. We anticipate that our study will facilitate the development of innovative magnetic nanostructures with controllable properties and enhanced performance.Fil: Arciniegas Jaimes, Diana Marcela. No full textApplication of peptidases from Maclura pomifera fruit for the production of active biopeptides from whey protein
Get PDFA crude extract containing serine peptidases, was prepared from latex of Maclura pomifera fruits. Peptidases were isolated by precipitation with one volume of ethanol with a yield of 5.4 ± 0.4 Ucas per milligram of protein. This extract was used for hydrolysis of bovine whey proteins at 45 °C and pH 6.5. Proteolytic activity was 99% inactivated after 5 min of heat treatment (100 °C). Major whey proteins degradation profile was analysed by tricine SDS-PAGE. After 180 min of hydrolysis alpha-lactalbumin (α-LA) and beta-lactoglobulin (β-LG) were almost completely degraded. Hydrolysis degree was 31.3 ± 1.7% at 180 min of reaction and the peptides produced that were smaller than 3 kDa were analysed by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC). Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory activity and antioxidant capacity were detected in the hydrolysates and IC50 values for 180 min of hydrolysis were 0.53 ± 0.02 and 4.44 ± 0.44 mg/ml, respectively. One peptide sequence deduced from peptide masses in the 180 min filtered hydrolysate, coincided with an ACE-inhibitory peptide reported by other author. The results support the conclusion that, by the presence of ACE-inhibitory and antioxidant peptides, it would be possible to use these whey protein hydrolysates for functional food manufacturing.Fil: Bertucci, Juan Ignacio.
