No full textNel particolare momento di crisi che ci sta non poco disorientando e che peraltro si annuncia di lunga durata, si impone la necessità di riformulare non soltanto i dispositivi interni che regolamentano la formazione professionale, ma anche e soprattutto ripensare le correlazioni che la interconnettono con le diverse forme dell’economia – da quella immediatamente produttiva a quella propriamente finanziaria, fino agli effetti che si scaricano sulla cultura organizzativa in cui riverberano mutevoli riflessi sociali e politici. Ebbene, è a questa matassa inestricabile di problemi che rinvia quest’ultimo lavoro di Antonio Marsella, il quale – si badi bene – non affronta il rapporto meramente dialettico tra economia e educazione, muovendosi semmai lungo taluni snodi che ne evidenziano i ritardi irresponsabili, le assenze ingiustificabili. Ma come aggredirne le patologie culturali, le debolezze teoriche? Marsella ci invita a farlo aggirando le retoriche pedagogiche, le mode che ne hanno intrappolato il dibattito, affidandosi responsabilmente a pensare la formazione dall’interno delle scienze dell’educazione........

No full textUna estructura fiscal sólida en cualquier nivel de la administración pública es una condición necesaria para realizar todas las acciones de política pública imperiosas y las deseadas para satisfacer las necesidades de sus pobladores.
Este documento presenta una breve revisión histórica de la evolución y composición de los ingresos y gastos de Marsella 1985 - 2022. Para realizar nuestro análisis empleamos datos del Sistema de Información del Formulario Único Territorial (SISFUT) y del Departamento Nacional de Planeación (DNP). Para permitir la comparabilidad durante el periodo, todas las cifras son expresadas a precios constantes del 2022 y en términos per cápita. Es decir, se controla por la inflación y por el crecimiento poblacional del municipio o distrito. Así mismo, esto permitirá realizar comparaciones con otras entidades territoriales de Colombia similares.
Para lograr lo anterior, este trabajo está dividido en seis sesiones: la primera sección es la presente introducción. La segunda y tercera sección muestran la evolución de los ingresos y los gastos respectivamente. En la cuarta sección se exponen los Indicadores de Desempeño Fiscal (IDF) para el Distrito. En la quinta sección los resultados del IDF comparado con entidades territoriales similares y en la sexta, los comentarios finales

TeV particle direct detection in space - Recent results from the DAMPE mission
Full text linkSince its successful launch to a Low Earth Orbit in December 2015, the DAMPE (DArk Matter Particle Explorer) satellite mission has been preforming excellently, which allows the experiment to collect a large high quality data sample of high energy cosmic rays directly in space. With a relatively large acceptance, a thick BGO homogeneous calorimeter, and a precise silicon tracker, DAMPE is designed to measure multi-TeV particles in space with unprecedented precision. A first measurement of electron plus positron total flux up to 4.6 TeV based on the first 18 months of data has been published. Other results, including proton and Helium fluxes up to 100 TeV/nucleon, are becoming available. In this talk, the in-orbit performance of the DAMPE detector as well as the latest DAMPE data analysis results will be presented

No full textThere are many theoretical motivations for long-lived particle (LLP) signals at the LHC in a comprehensive survey of Standard Model (SM) extensions. LLPs are a common prediction of a wide range of theories that address unsolved fundamental mysteries such as naturalness, dark matter, baryogenesis and neutrino masses, and represent a natural and generic possibility for physics beyond the SM (BSM). MATHUSLA (MAssive Timing Hodoscope for Ultra Stable neutraL pArticles) is a proposal for a minimally instrumented, large-volume surface detector to detect such LLPs. The MATHUSLA surface detector will consist of an air-filled decay volume surrounded by charged particles detectors (top, bottom, and sides) that provide timing and a robust multilayer tracking system located in the upper region. The collaboration proposes covering a total sensitive area of (200 × 200) square meters on the surface in the region near the interaction point of ATLAS or CMS detectors for the beginning of the HL-LHC run

Abstract: Lateral sinus thrombosis (LST) is an uncommon, but life-threatening complication of both acute and chronic otitis media. There is some evidence that acquired or hereditary prothrombotic disorders are risk factors for LST. The aim of this work was to evaluate the role of thrombotic screening, anticoagulant therapy or prophylaxis in patients with either acute or chronic otitis media and LST. The medical records of five children hospitalized at Pediatric Hospital Bambino Gesu of Rome because of acute or chronic otitis media complicated by mastoiditis and LST were reviewed. All children underwent laboratory workup for hypercoagulability. All the five children were found to be heterozygote for the C677T MTHFR mutation and a child presented also heterozygosity for factor V Leiden mutation. They have been successfully treated with anticoagulant therapy without sequels. Children with acute or chronic otitis media may have a prothrombotic tendency that becomes clinically evident because of the inflammatory state. Patients with a family and/or personal history of thrombosis and/or thrombophilic conditions need anticoagulant prophylaxis also in the absence of clear signs of LST.
