In this article, the author systematizes publications about soviet Ukraine in the Lviv newspaper “Dilo” in 1930. He distinguishes and generalizes such important issues of political, national, and cultural life, economic and social situation, religious and historical problems as Bolshevism, collectivization in soviet Ukraine, Union for the Liberation of Ukraine, education reform, etc. The painful issues of Ukrainian national life under the conditions of soviet enslavement in the interwar period are comprehended, based on newspaper publications. During the ’30s of the twentieth-century thousands of materials that require careful up-to-date reading, comprehension, and study had been published. Thus, in 1930 in the newspaper “Dilo” were published more than two hundred publications about the life in soviet Ukraine, in particular, 120 – description, appreciation of events and situations in the soviet Union written by journalists and contributors of “Dilo”, mainly representatives of Eastern Galicia, 5 – articles of foreign authors, the rest – a response-protest in Western Ukraine and the world to the tragedy of Ukrainians. The purpose of the article is to focus on key national issues under the conditions of soviet Ukraine during 1930. The task of the publication is to comprehend the discovered texts in the context of the planned destruction of the national essence of Ukrainians, as well as to supplement the history of Ukrainian journalism with a new source base (new publications) and bibliographic data. The methodological basis of the study. The author uses the method of the scientific study of primary sources found in the special funds of the Scientific Library of LNU after I. Franko, in particular, the files of the newspaper “Dilo” in 1930. 252 publications were processed, some of which – in several submissions. Based on scientific abstracts, 6 publications with the keywords “SVU”, “collectivization”, “Bolshevik terror”, “soviet Ukraine” (method of scientific research) were distinguished, that is, the problem and thematic analysis are applied to understand the raised issues (conceptual analysis) and to prepare certain conclusions and generalizations (methods of synthesis, induction, and deduction). The article is illustrated with two tables prepared by quantitative analysis and content analysis. With the help of new texts in “Dilo”, some issues of the history of Ukrainian journalism were supplemented, revealed, clarified, the standing of representation of Bolshevik policy of Ukraine’s destruction, about the life in soviet Ukraine were ordered

A data model for operational and situational information in emergency response: The Dutch case

    No full text
During emergency response a lot of dynamic information is created and needs to be studied and analysed in the decision-making process. However, this analysis of data is difficult and often not possible. A major reason for this is that a lot of information coming from the field operations is not archived in a structured way. This paper presents a data model for the management of dynamic data, which captures the situational information (incident and its effect) and the operational information (processes activated and people/departments involved). The model is derived from the emergency response procedure and structural organisation in the Netherlands.Department of GIS TechnologyOTB Research Institut

Selain itu, DiLo Surabaya memiliki layout redesain yang open space ditambah dengan beberapa elemen yang mendukung untuk produktifitas dan inovasi pengguna =============================================================================================== Awareness of the importance of youth to build the climate of entrepreneurship in Indonesia is increasing. The government including (Badan Usaha Milik Negara) BUMN also supports youth roles in the field of technopreneurship such as Indigo Incubator, Wirausaha Muda Mandiri, 1000 Startup Digital Movement, etc. The facilities provided by some institutions and private business is called as Business Incubator. The facilities typically provided by the Business Incubation Program include the space used by participants of the business incubation program as a joint office for work, usually called coworking space. The concept of coworking space itself is a network among multiple workspaces around the world, a semiformal atmosphere venue that allows a variety of resultsoriented Worker communities to collaborate. At this time, Coworking space in Indonesia has many advantages, among others, the cost required to rent space is not too much because the concept of sharing space, can use the address coworking space as an office address making it easier to manage, Domicile Letters, SIUP and trademark registration. Coworking provides "conventional corporate office work, but in a very unique way." Affordable office space is the first step in helping youth want to start their business. Modern Urban which applied by the author in this redesign can form the public perception about Telkom Indonesia. They also support the youth-citizen to ready to solve problems in Indonesia. Starting from the impression of high-technology through the applied materials and also the appropriate lighting. Despite, DiLo Surabaya has an open space redesign layout coupled with several elements that support for productivity and user innovatio

Models of dynamic data for emergency response: A comparative study

    No full text
The first hours after a disaster happens are very chaotic and difficult but perhaps the most important for successfully fighting the consequences, saving human lives and reducing damages in private and public properties. Despite some advances, complete inventory of the information needed during the emergency response remains challenging. In the last years several nationally and internationally funded projects have concentrated on inventory of emergency response processes, structures for storing dynamic information and standards and services for accessing needed data sets. A good inventory would clarify many aspects of the information exchange such as data sets, models, representations; a good structuring would facilitate the fast access to a desired piece of information, as well as the automation of analysis of the information. Consequently the information can be used better in the decision-making process. This paper presents our work on models for dynamic data for different disasters and incidents in Europe. The Dutch data models are derived from a thorough study on emergency response procedure in the Netherlands. Two more models developed within the project HUMBOLDT reflect several cross border disaster management scenarios in Europe. These models are compared with the Geospatial Data Model of the Department of Homeland Security in USA. The paper draws conclusions about the type of geographical information needed to perform emergency response operations and the possibility to have a generic model to be used world-wide.OTB OnderzoekOTB Research Institute for the Built Environmen

Developing a vario-scale IMGeo using the constrained tGAP structure

    No full text
The aim of this master thesis has been to answer the question: How can a vario-scale IMGeo be designed and developed by applying the constrained tGAP structure with Top10NL as initial constraint? This research has been done under authority of Gemeentewerken Rotterdam and TU Delft. For Gemeentewerken Rotterdam the main goal is to investigate the possibilities of automatic generalisation based on their project "Basisregistratie Geografie", for TU Delft the main goal is to see the concept of the constrained tGAP structure being investigated. The models IMGeo, a new large scale topographical standard in The Netherlands, and Top10NL, the authentic registration for medium scale topography in The Netherlands, are both derived from NEN 3610; they form the basis for the generalisation in this research. The main differences are explained by their backgrounds. IMGeo originates from the GBKN, whereas Top10NL is based on Top10Vector. The fact that these models are not made cooperatively is bad luck for this research; no object class hierarchy could be made from these models, because there are object classes in Top10NL which don't even exist in IMGeo. The Top10NL object classes therefore can't be seen as a generalisation of the object classes of IMGeo. The generalisation approach in this research was the constrained tGAP structure, a concept from the universities of Hannover and Delft. In this research IMGeo objects were assigned to Top10NL regions. Four possible methods to assign IMGeo objects to Top10NL regions were developed: - Simple overlay method. An intersection between the models where every IMGeo object is split at the borders of the overlapping Top10NL object. In the end result only Top10NL geometry will be visible. - The maximum area method. The Top10NL object which overlaps the IMGeo object the most is the shape to which the whole IMGeo object is assigned to. The IMGeo geometry is kept in this method. - The 35%-split method. If an IMGeo object belongs for more than 35% to two Top10NL objects we consider this Top10NL geometry as enrichment of the structure; therefore the IMGeo object is split and a new IMGeo object is created. For all IMGeo objects that don't have two Top10NL objects overlapping for more than 35% the maximum area method is applied. - The building first method. This method assigns IMGeo-buildings to a building region in case of some overlap with a Top10NL building without considering the amount of overlap. The other IMGeo objects are selected as in the maximum area method. The building first method has been developed because the results of the maximum area method and the 35%-split method were unsatisfying. This building first method gives the best results of the four methods. With this method further research was done. For the test dataset from the municipality of Almere class weights and class compatibilities have been derived, which are input values for the tGAP structure. This has been done after tuning the weights and compatibilities of the constrained tGAP structure and comparing the end result to the Top10NL dataset. Final conclusion of this report is that the constrained tGAP absolutely offers possibilities for automatic generalisation from large to medium scale data. However, the amount of pre-processing of the data and the state of development of the tGAP structure are reasons for a governmental organisation like Gemeentewerken Rotterdam to not yet develop a product like this. A topological structure of the models might possibly solve these problems. Cooperation between researching parties, industrial parties and governmental organisations in projects like DURP Ondergronden could be a good opportunity to develop a vario-scale IMGeo as described in this report.GIS technologyOTB Research Institute for the Built Environmen

ObhájenoIn my diploma thesis I am dealing with morbid medicine topics (pathology, anatomy, surgeries). Also I am working with imagination of viewer. I don't want to simply draw something and say: "Well... this guy fell down from the reef, crushed his skull and died." I want to show the consequence (in this case it is the crushed skull) and say to the viewer: "Try to imagine what happened, why it is happened, and what is the consequence of it." This process of thinking switches on chemical process. Neurons starts to do their job, brain is processing data and visions, so this whole process is kind of a small piece of work in everyones body. Diploma thesis consist of 6 animated illustrations of "broken" bodies (6 different stories), which is complement of 5.1 audio of working neurons

In detail, modern internet-based technologies includes some principles which works such as a filter. Every information which goes through is immediately deformed. The message is delivered in a very limited form on the other side. The author is interested in these principles, which stress this signal of communication. His art installation is based on a code which were generated from a personal correspondences in the Messenger app. The code is transformed to an object, sound an video

“NITA” OF JOSIP RELA, AN ELEGANT SHOW SIGNED BY FANKO! THE SECOND COLLABORATION AMONG ALBANIANS DURING THE EIGHTIES

    No full text
The second collaboration between Albanians happens with “Nita,” a production by writer Josip Rela and director Serafin Fanko. Our journey will take us to the Albanian Drama Theater in Skopje, in 1980. The event takes place eight years later. In 1972, the first Albanian director invited by the Theater of Nationalities was Kujtim Spahivogli, who put on stage “Korça Carnivals,” a comedy by Spiro Çomora. Then, during a 10-day-visit of the delegation of the Theater of Nationalities Skopje, in Tirana, in 1973, two plays were put on stage: “The Gone” and “Korça Carnivals.” In 1980, he was the second and last director, invited by Albania, until after the 90ties, when Albanian totalitarian regime fell. The director, Serafin Fanko, together with set designer, costume designer and notable painter Ksenofon Dilo, put on stage the drama “Nita,” of theArbëresh author Josip Rela; its premier took place on May 10, 1980 in the Albanian theater drama in the Theater of Nationalities in Skopje. Director Serafin Fanko is the first director who put the national flag in the Albanian drama set, which caused commotion in the Macedonian government and the police tried to stop the performance, but they weren’t successful due to the pressure of the public. Theater dramas with a national content were considered an event for the Albanian public living in Skopje. Scenographer Ksenofon Dilo talks about this significant detail which they had the courage to put in action together with director Fanko, twisting the scenic elements, and since the drama had a national character, the flag on stage was necessary. In the scene depicting festivities organized by the villagers where Nita would become a man, the well takes center stage. Scenographer Mr. Dilo engages the characters to decorate the well’s crown with small national flags. Mr. Dilo recalls that one night before the premier, during the general rehearsals in the Theater of Nationalities, the Macedonian director employed by this theater, Mirko Stefanovski, did not respond quite well to the scene with the national flags
