Germanística, Michael Longerich parte em viagem dialógica, para captar matizes político-económicos
e socioculturais de um país europeu em rota colonial e trajetória pós-colonial. Tomando uma figura de
vulgaríssimo nome feminino, no espaço lusófono das décadas de 1960 e seguintes, e uma figura
masculina fulgurante na ribalta futebolística internacional, que inesperadamente travam conhecimento numa cabine de avião, o autor, nascido na Alemanha e residente na Dinamarca, desvela, em
tessitura romanesca, linhas e entrelinhas de uma sociedade urbana espartilhada pela ideologia salazarista e libertada pelo golpe revolucionário. As perguntas prováveis do leitor, ao virar a capa do
romance, rumo à página de rosto da obra: que traços de realidade e fios de imaginação se entrelaçam
na imagem de Portugal rececionada pelo escritor alemão à distância das décadas, dos quilómetros e
da língua portuguesa? Que propósito autoral juntou, já no título da obra, figura anónima a individualidade de craveira internacional?Having studied History, Political Sciences and German Studies, Michael Longerich sets out on
a dialogic journey, to capture political, economic, social and cultural nuances of an European country
on a colonial route and post-colonial trajectory. Approaching a character with a common female name
in the Portuguese-speaking world of the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s and an international football star, the
author of Maria und Eusébio, born in Germany and residing in Denmark, reveals, in a novelistic text,
aspects of an urban society in and after Estado Novo. Two main questions, when we turn to the opening
page of the novel: what traces of reality and threads of imagination are intertwined in the image of
Portugal presented by a German writer at a distance of decades, miles and the Portuguese language?

Esta tese apresenta também um modelo para um receptor solar de ar de alta temperatura modelado no software de simulação, COMSOL Multiphysics ® usando Carbeto de Silício e ar como os principais materiais. O modelo é uma aproximação em 2D e 3D e os resultados do cálculo de transferência de calor e fluxo são apresentados. Perdas térmicas e radiativas não são tidas em conta. O modelo tem como principal objectivo, modelar um receptor de energia solar de ar de modo a obter o campo de temperaturas no receptor.
O objectivo da tese será de apresentar uma descrição sobre tecnologias de concentração solar e em específico á tecnologia de receptor solar e de apresentar um modelo simplificado de para um receptor solar.In a first approach, this thesis presents a state of the art about the main general technology, Concentrating Solar Power Plants and posteriorly a description about the air solar receiver technology focusing the main features, parameters and developments.

No full textFrequente no discurso oral e escrito que enforma as vivências do quotidiano humano, o lexema
«fazer» e os seus correspondentes nas de mais línguas distinguem-se por densa polissemia, referenciando
numerosos modos de ação. Veiculado sob forma verbal, substantívica, ou adjetívica, o motivo do fazer
integra vertentes de configuração, mas também de desfiguração e transfiguração, material ou imaterial,
num processo multissensorial e pluriperspetívico, que, convocando veios cognitivos e emocional-afetivos,
entrelaça imaginação e reflexão. E na obra de arte atinge o fazer humano as raias do sublime: pela poiesis se
desafia os contornos da imanência. Eis porque conversas com versos se convertem, no «fazer» artístico de
Maria Alberta Menéres, em diálogo com o transcendente.Frequently used in the oral and written discourse which shapes the experience of human daily life, the lexeme «make» and its correspondents in other languages are characterized by a dense polysemy which references numerous ways of making. Expressed as a verb, noun or adjective, the theme/motive of «making» integrates aspects of (material or immaterial) configuration, but also of disfiguration and transfiguration in a multisensory and multisided process, which, by combining cognitive and emotional-affective strands, fuses imagination and reflection. In art, human «making» reaches the borders of the sublime: poiesis challenges the contours of immanence. For this reason, conversations with verses become, in the poetic work of Maria Alberta Menéres, a dialogue with the transcendent
SPEEDY: Caught at Last
No full textInternational audienceSPEEDY is a family of ultra-low-latency block ciphers designed by Leander et al. in 2021. In 2023, Boura et al. proposed a differential attack on the full 7-round variant, SPEEDY-7-192. However, shortly thereafter, Beyne and Neyt demonstrated that this attack was invalid, as the dominant differential characteristic it relied upon had probability zero. A similar issue affects another differential attack proposed the same year by Wang et al., which also targets SPEEDY-7-192 and suffers from the same flaw. As a result, the question of finding a valid attack on this cipher remained an open problem. In this work, we resolve this problem by presenting the first valid differential attack on SPEEDY-7-192. We verify the validity of our distinguisher using the quasidifferential framework. Moreover, our search for the differential distinguisher is significantly more rigorous than in previous works: starting from a pool of one-round trails, our method explores a larger portion of the search space. We also fully exploit probabilistic extensions of the distinguisher to identify optimal parameters for the key recovery step. Our best attack on SPEEDY-7-192 is a chosen-ciphertext attack with data and time complexity of .2 174.53 . In addition, we present differential attacks on 4-round SPEEDY-5-192 and 5round SPEEDY-6-192, which currently represent the b est known attacks against these smaller variants
Internkommunikation - idag och imorgon. En kvalitativ studie av personalens syn på Blå Ställets internkommunikation
No full textAim: The main purpose of this thesis was to investigate how the employees experience the
internal communication and to examine the channels they communitace trough between
the departments at Blå Stället in Sweden. This task was given by the unit chiefs at the
company who’ve seen a need to investigate and improve their internal communication.
The goal is therefore also to produce concrete and well-founded proposals on how the
internal communication can bee improved at Blå Stället. Relevant Theoretical frame of
reference was internal communication, information, communication channels, formal
and informal communication. To collect data from employees I made six interviews,
one from every department and two informers. My analysis is based on the answears
about the area of internal communication. Finally the study resulted in many useful
suggestions of how to improve the internal communication by both co-workers and the
author.
Results: From the results, witch I have analyzed from the main questions shows that the opinion
of the employees is that the internal communication function well, even if there are
wished of improvements of certain areas. There are some problems with the internal
communication between departments Blå Stället’s divisions. Referring to the channels
that the employees get information and communicate though is the oral meetings,
telephone and email. Based on the result that showed that they employees mostly prefer
to communicate by electronic channel and to make the communication effective the
author strongly recommend that Blå Stället indroduce intranet where all personal can
find the information they seek
Poemas para crianças e adolescentes em programas escolares e universitários?
No full textOs programas e metas curriculares de Português para o Ensino Básico e Ensino Secundário
indicam, no domínio da educação literária, a partir do 7.º ano de escolaridade, apenas poetas
incluídos no cânone dito para adultos, na expectativa de que os alunos assim melhor
adquiram maturidade linguística e literária. Nas unidades curriculares de literatura
portuguesa ou literatura estrangeira lecionadas no Ensino Superior não encontramos, em
regra, poetas orientados para o público infantil ou adolescente, pressupondo-se que é
inadequada a regressão a textos escritos para idades "menores". Impõe-se, assim, a
indagação: serão os poemas escritos para crianças ou adolescentes esteticamente inferiores
aos textos líricos de receção adulta? São os textos em verso destinados a crianças e
adolescentes (ainda) poemas? Merecem tais textos versificados, tanto como os poemas de
autores para adultos, ser, em correspondente medida, integrados em manuais do Ensino
Básico e Ensino Secundário, ou em programas curriculares do Ensino Superior? Tomando
como paradigma o poema Consulta, de Maria Alberta Menéres, este ensaio procura
evidenciar que também os poemas primariamente destinados a crianças ou adolescentes
revelam, sob a sua aparente rudimentaridade conteudística e formal, uma requintada
construção poética, que apura o saber e a sensibilidade do público jovem ou adulto.The programs and goals for Portuguese in Elementary and Secondary Schools indicate,
concerning literary education, from the 7th grade onwards, only so-called poets for adults,
in the expectation that students thus acquire linguistic and literary maturity. Also the
programs of Portuguese Literature or Foreign Literature taught at Portuguese Universities,
do not indicate poets who wrote or write for children or teenagers assuming that the
regression to texts written for "younger" ages is inappropriate. Several questions arise: Are
poems written for children or teenagers aesthetically inferior to the lyrical texts written for
adults? Are texts in verse intended for children and teenagers (still) poems? Do such texts
deserve to be read in Elementary and Secondary schools? Taking as paradigm the poem
Consulta, by Maria Alberta Menéres, this essay intends to show that poems primarily
intended for children or teenagers reveal, under apparently rudimentary content and form, an exquisite poetic construction, refining thought and sensibility of young and adult
readers
