    IMPROVING SOCIAL MEDIA PRACTICES FOR B-TO-B MARKET

    B2B social networks are today at the heart of all discussions, whether at the professional or personal level. Indeed, there are more and more controversies around these tools of commu-nication. However, in many cases, social networks are a real advertising boost. Today, social networks in B2B are a real factor of influence and they are an integral part of a digital market-ing strategy. An inductive research approach was applied in this thesis and a qualitative research method was used for collecting the data. The qualitative research was conducted through four inter-views, three of them with three different distributors for Kekkilä Professional and one inter-view with the marketing manager. The data was collected data from both primary and second-ary sources. Primary data was collected from the interviews and the secondary method in-cluded data collected from the author’s own experience, books and electric sources. In the theoretical part, the author explains the meaning of digital marketing, social media mar-keting, which are the social media channels, and which social networks will be the most im-portant for Kekkilä Professional to focus on when the company will develop its social media practices for the B2B market in the future. The author continues with theories about particulari-ties for the B2B market. A SWOT analysis was created for the case company and a develop-ment plan for Kekkilä Professional is presented. In conclusion, Kekkilä Professional should focus on social media channels (LinkedIn, Face-book and Twitter) in the future for the B2B market because using social media is essential in the digital communication era. However, it is important to take the time to design a complete social media strategy to use them wisely and to achieve the goals that Kekkilä Professional has set.     We use homological methods to establish a formal criterion for Generic Vanishing, in the sense originated by Green and Lazarsfeld and pursued further by Hacon and the first author, but in the context of an arbitrary Fourier-Mukai correspondence. For smooth projective varieties we apply this to deduce a Kodaira-type generic vanishing theorem for adjoint bundles of the form K_X + L with L a nef line bundle, and in fact a more general generic Nadel-type vanishing theorem for multiplier ideal sheaves. Still in the context of the Picard variety, the same method generates various other generic vanishing results, by reduction to standard vanishing theorems. We further use the formal criterion in order to address examples related to generic vanishing on higher rank moduli spaces (on curves and on some threefold Calabi-Yau fiber spaces)

    This paper highlights some issues regarding how an indicators system must be developed and used in an audit process. Distributed systems are presented from de points of view of their main properties, architectures, applications, software quality characteristics and the scope of audit process in such systems. The audit process is defined in accordance to standard ISO 19011 and the main characteristics of this process are highlighted. Before using quantitative methods in audit processes, the framework in which the indicators are built must be defined. There are presented types of indicators used in audit process and classes of measurement scale.     I, translator, confess. This is the self-testimony of a young literary Romanian-Portuguese translator, his adventures and misadventures, his difficulties and enormous satisfactions. As a translator of poetry, Corneliu Popa had the opportunity to meet and learn the craft of literary translation with some leading personalities from the two literatures: Fiama Hasse Pais Brandão, Pedro Tamen, Fernando Pinto Amaral, Casimiro de Brito, Ana Blandiana, Mircea Dinescu, Marin Sorescu, Dinu Flamand. On what concerns literary prose, he had the great challenge of translating a Romanian literature masterpiece: Wasted Morning by Gabriela Adameşteanu, with the added difficulties of dealing with a living contemporary author. His translations were published by prestigious Portuguese publishers, including Leya and Guerra & Paz, with the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute. Rezumat. Eu, traducătorul, mărturisesc.     In this sequel to arXiv1407.4089 by the second author, we extend to multi-dimensional (or infinite-dimensional) settings the Goldie equation arising in the general regular variation of `General regular variation, Popa groups and quantifier weakening', J. Math. Anal. Appl. 483 (2020) 123610, 31 pp. (arXiv1901.05996). We extend the work there in two directions. First, we algebraicize the theory, by systematic use of certain groups -- the Popa groups arising in earlier work by Popa, and their relatives the Javor groups.     Mecanismo de modulación lipídica de las compuertas de un canal de K+

    Investigaciones previas indican que los fosfolípidos aniónicos como POPA influyen en la actividad del canal de potasio KcsA ralentizando su inactivación. Este estudio examinó si el efecto de POPA es directo (por unión específica al canal) o indirecto (por cambios en las propiedades físicas de la membrana) y cómo afecta a las compuertas que controlan la función del canal (compuerta externa (SF) y a la compuerta interna), utilizando mutantes reconstituidos en liposomas y nanodiscos con o sin POPA. El análisis Homo-FRET reveló que la afinidad del SF por K⁺ es pH-dependiente. A pH 7 (estado cerrado), SF exhibe una alta afinidad por K⁺, mientras que a pH 4 (estado abierto/inactivado), esta afinidad disminuye. La modulación por POPA incrementa la afinidad de SF por K⁺ a pH 4, estabilizando así el estado conductor. Concomitantemente, POPA promueve la apertura de la puerta interna a pH neutro mediante el aumento del pKa de este proceso conformacional. Utilizando la mutación KcsA R64A, que bloquea el SF en conformación conductora se puede concluir que POPA modula de forma independiente las compuertas del canal de potasio KcsA. Este trabajo demuestra que los fosfolípidos aniónicos modulan las transiciones conformacionales del canal KcsA de manera directa, actuando de forma independiente sobre el filtro de selectividad y la compuerta interna, y que los nanodiscos constituyen un sistema modelo válido para estos estudios. Previous research indicates that anionic phospholipids such as POPA influence the activity of the KcsA potassium channel by slowing its inactivation. This study examined whether the effect of POPA is direct (by specific binding to the channel) or indirect (by changes in the physical properties of the membrane) and how it affects the gates that control channel function (external gate (SF) and internal gate), using mutants reconstituted in liposomes and nanodiscs with or without POPA. Homo-FRET analysis revealed that the affinity of SF for K⁺ is pH-dependent. At pH 7 (closed state), SF exhibits a high affinity for K⁺, while at pH 4 (open/inactivated state), this affinity decreases. Modulation by POPA increases the affinity of SF for K⁺ at pH 4, thus stabilizing the conductive state. Concomitantly, POPA promotes the opening of the internal gate at neutral pH by increasing the pKa of this conformational process. Using the KcsA R64A mutation, which blocks SF in the conducting conformation, it can be concluded that POPA independently modulates the gates of the KcsA potassium channel. This work demonstrates that anionic phospholipids directly modulate the conformational transitions of the KcsA channel by acting independently on the selectivity filter and the internal gate, and that nanodisks are a valid model system for these studies
