Playing Roles: Literati, Playwrights, and Female Performers in Yuan Theater
abstract: This dissertation investigates how Yuan zaju drama reshaped Chinese culture by bridging the gap between an inherently oral tradition of popular performance and the written tradition of literati, when traditional Chinese political, social, cultural structures underwent remarkable transformation under alien rule in the Yuan. It focuses on texts dated from the thirteenth to the fifteenth century by literati writers about playwrights and performers that have been treated by most scholars merely as sources of bio-bibliographical information. I interpret them, however, as cultural artifacts that reveal how Yuan drama caused a shift in the mentality of the elite. My study demonstrates that Yuan drama stimulated literati thought, redefined literati self-identity, and introduced a new significance to the act of writing and the function of text. Moreover, the emergence of a great number of successful female performers challenged the gendered roles of women that had been standardized by the traditional Confucian patriarchal system. This careful uncovering of overlooked materials contributes to a better understanding of the social and cultural world of early modern China.Dissertation/ThesisDoctoral Dissertation East Asian Languages and Civilizations 201

Emergency Broadcast System – A Reverse 911 Tsunami Information Dissemination System Prototype: The Case of Indonesia
This research introduces a communication system that disseminates tsunami warnings to the community at risk right after an earthquake hits. Its function also aids the existing warning dissemination channels which may be unavailable or be affected by the earthquake. Due to its capability to be powered autonomously and its portability, it has advantages when compared to the existing solutions based on the commercial cellular infrastructure, and it may act as an alternative channel that can stand independently. On top of that the universal use of GSM handsets may help the system reach a significant number of at risk civilians. We ran experiments and analysed the results and have also examined how the system would fit within the existing disaster management operating procedure in Indonesia through data
gathering. The proposed system, technically, has adequately fulfilled the user requirements we investigated and has the potential to be incorporated in the existing procedures and synchronised with other existing early warning dissemination channels
GIS-Based Rainfall Estimator Evaluation and Interpolation Analysis Using ArcGIS
We have been always trying to predict the weather to minimize risk, produce strategy, and other decision making situation. To achieve this, monitoring method need to be used to gather data. Rainfall monitoring is one of the area that widely used and one of the mostly used method is satellite-based rainfall monitoring. However, there are limitation to apply to the Satellite Rainfall (SR) estimation specifically on its accuracy and lack of certainty. Thus, study that directed to measure the inaccuracies of SR measurements is needed by using data of distribution of Actual Rainfall (AR). The SR data is taken from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)’s Hydro—Estimator while the AR data was from the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA). Through the statistics and interpolation analysis using ArcGIS, the study shows a prominent result of SR estimation accuracy in the sample area and thus may opens up more similar implementation as well as stands as a good benchmark for future improvement of the method. This study also shows how interpolation method through a GIS software could provide a significant result on a geographical related studies.

VRSurvival Runner: Aplikasi Exergaming Survival berbasis Virtual Reality
Exercising is not something that many people enjoy, and often a burden. In Indonesia, the prevalence of overweight and obesity is on a steady rise since 2013. One of the cause of these trend is the sedentary lifestyle. Lack of physical activities in this lifestyle has lead to poor cardiorespiratory fitness which proven to increase mortality rate. The purpose of this research is to create android game based on virtual reality and with the genre of exergaming. This research aims to create a new and variative ways to exercise without going out of your home dan to create a new atmosphere of exercising that is fun because of the survival horror genres. This research is using prototyping models and using Unity 3D as the game-engine that allow the application to run on Android Devices. The result of this research is VRSurvival Runner, an android game that allows the player to run, jump, to avoid zombies that are chasing the player, and also this game has a feature of counting the estimated burned calories while playing the games. A trial test on the app also has been done without any problem
SAP ASSESSMENT USING COBIT 2019 AND ITIL FOR SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT AND STRATEGIC DECISION SUPPORT
The increasing reliance on Information Technology (IT) for enhancing business performance has led organizations to adopt structured governance and service management frameworks. This study evaluates the IT governance implementation at PT. Natural Indococonut Organik—an organic coconut enterprise that relies on SAP as its core enterprise system. Using the COBIT 2019 and ITIL V.3 frameworks, the study assesses IT process capability, service management maturity, and alignment with best practices. A qualitative descriptive approach was applied through three structured interviews with IT personnel. The first interview used COBIT 2019 Design Factors to identify priority processes: APO12 (Managed Risk), DSS01 (Managed Operations), and MEA03 (Managed Compliance). The second assessed these processes’ capability levels, revealing gaps below the target level (Level 4): APO12 at 33%, DSS01 at 75%, and MEA03 at 12.5%. The third interview applied the ITIL Self-Assessment to evaluate the service desk, with results indicating partial achievement and an overall maturity near Level 2. Key deficiencies were found in risk management, compliance oversight, operational consistency, and user feedback mechanisms—areas critical to supporting SAP effectively. Findings are categorized into design, evaluation, and improvement domains, demonstrating how governance analysis contributes to enhancing enterprise information systems. Strengthening SAP-related risk controls, service procedures, and user engagement processes is essential to elevate governance maturity and system performanc
Tata Kelola Teknologi Informasi Menggunakan Framework COBIT 2019 Pada PT. Kobexindo Tractor Tbk.
