Various Methodologies of Hadith Research (Sanad Research, Matan, Study of Figures and Living Hadith)
Research has three basic objectives, namely discovery, proof, and development. The purpose of discovery means discovering a theory or new understandings of hadith, the purpose of proof means research that focuses on eliminating doubts that exist in a hadith, and the purpose of development means the expansion of a figure's theory about hadith. Through this article, the author will discuss a variety of hadith research methodologies, this paper uses a qualitative research writing method with a literature approach, The author discusses four famous hadith research methodologies, namely sanad hadith research, matan hadith research, figure study research and living hadith research. The sanad research is the genealogy of the narrators who transform the matan from the main source. Matan research is in the form of maintenance, definition, interpretation and maintenance of the values that exist in the redaction of hadith. Character study research describes how a certain figure thinks about the hadith, whether it is a view that comes from Muslim intellectuals or orientalists. Kritik Matan Hadis dengan Pendekatan Al-Qur’an: Studi Pemahaman Muḥammad Al-Ghazālī dan Jamāl Al-Bannā
Matan ḥadīth criticism is not new in the scientific world of ḥadīth, criticism of matan ḥadīth has been done since the time of the Prophet and the companions and then continued until the present. The existence of criticism of traditions in the history of traditions must have been born along with the number of persons who misuse the function of ḥadīth to the rise of counterfeiting of traditions to achieve irresponsible interests. The figures to be discussed are figures that are considered controversial for some people, because these two figures reject the authentic hadith that contradicts its meaning with the Qur’an. Therefore the author here feels the need for a review of the understanding of these two figures related to their understanding of the traditions, hadith aḥad, and the methodology of understanding the traditions with the Qur’anic approach
Analisis Hadis-Hadis Inses Dalam Perspektif Ilmu Medis (Kajian Sanad dan Matan)
This research aims to identify the quality of sanad and matan hadith incest and provide a review of medical science on incest. This research is a qualitative research in the form of a literature study. The primary data sources used in this study are the books of kutubu tis'ah. The analysis technique used by the author is the study of sanad and matan. The results of this study reveal that; 1) the quality of sanad and matan hadith about the prohibition of incestuous marriage; A marriage between a man and a woman who still has a very close blood relationship where including milk in terms of quality, the above hadith is included in the sahih hadith, because it meets the requirements of the sahih hadith and is also classified as a hadith that is al-Muttashil Marfu'. 2) The closer the kinship level, the more likely they are to get the same faults (weaknesses) in their genes, because they are inherited from the same parents. Because of this, a brother and a sister are more likely to have the same fault in their genes, a child resulting from such a sibling relationship can inherit the same bad gene in the same gene pair of both, resulting in two bad copies of the gene and serious damage

yang tak terelakkan dalam kajian hadis. Dari sini penting disadari bahwa hermeneutika bukan hal baru, apalagi “sesuatu” yang berbahaya bagi kajian Hadis. Istilah ini memang bukan dari pemikir Islam. Namun secara subtansi, hermeneutika sebagai kerja kritis atas hadis (sanad dan matan) telah melekat di kalangan muslim klasik dan modern-kontemporer. Tulisan ini ingin membuktikan bahwa Azami sekalipun, yang dikenal ‘anti’ barat, secara subtansi melakukan kerja hermeneutika. Metode kajian hadis Azami, baik sanad maupun matan akan ditarik dalam diskusi hermeneutika hadis, yang dalam hal ini penulis akan menggunakan tiga unsur dasar dalam wacana hermeneutika, yakni author (perawi), teks (hadis) dan reader (Azami). Artikel ini akan menjawan tentag bagaimana dan sejauhmana metode pemikiran hadis Mustafa Azami dapat diposisikan sebagai kerja hermeneutika, dalam hal ini sebagai kajian kritis atas sanad dan matan hadis? Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Azami dalam kerja hermeneutika-nya senantiasa mengungkap diskusi keorisinalitas perawi (sanad) dan kerasionalitas matan dengan melakukan metode perbandingan. MATAN HADIS CRITICISM METHODOLOGY Comparative Analysis between Muhammad Syuhudi Ismail and Muḥammad Al-GazÄliy
Abstract. Tracing the history of hadith is a common thing to be studied and carried out by various academic circles. However, along with the dynamics, which are quite dynamic, there have been problems, including Islamic thought and even orientalist thinking to examine the hadith texts of the Prophet Muhammad, which is growing rapidly, especially in the study of hadith studies. There are two main aspects of the foundation in hadith research, namely, authentic and skeptical. The term becomes the result of the conclusion when the hadith has been carried out in terms of the quality of the sanad, matan, and rawi. However, understanding the hadith does not revolve around understanding the content and substance of the hadith. How Islamic thinkers try to reconstruct the methodology in understanding the criticism of hadith so that the hadiths achieved are accurate and maintain traditions from errors and falsehoods. This paper explores the ideas of Muhammad Syhudi and Muhammad al-Ghazaliy in theory development (Matan Hadith Criticism Methodology). �AQIQAH SETELAH DEWASA (Studi Sanad dan Matan Hadis)
Al-Baihaky and al-Bazzar has narrated the hadith about "'Aqiqah after Adult." This hadith is not only famous among the scholars of hadith, but also on the part of Muslim society to exist among those who practice it, there are allow and do aqiqqah after adults, but some are rejected because they do not correspond to the meaning aqiqah itself. Aqiqah is the hair that grows on the head of the baby when born. Aqiqah also means the name of the slaughter of animals slaughtered for the newborn child. in terms the quality sanad of hadith is dlaif (weak). Then, why some jurists use these traditions to legitimize the permissibility of carrying out aqiqah as an adult? Or maybe the hadith hasan or even authentic quality. This question inspires the author to examine the hadith, whether authentic or dlaif? The findings of this study indicate that the quality is very dlaif and matan (the text of the report) contained irregularities..</jats:p
