Florence Majerus discusses growing up on a ranch in Idaho during the 1920s, getting married in Alaska, and working for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for ten years. She describes moving with her husband to Montana and becoming a pilot after the end of World War Two. Majerus spoke of his childhood in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, his time in Nuremberg, Germany during and after World War II, and his education aided by the GI Bill after he concluded his military service. Majerus spoke in detail about his positions at county social service agencies, the Department of Health and Social Services, and his association with the University of Wisconsin-Madison as Field Practicum Supervisor for the School of Social Work Graduate Program. This interview was conducted for inclusion into the UW-Madison Archives and Records Management Oral History Program
