Two body photodisintegration of He-3 between 200 and 800 MeV
No full textDifferential cross sections for the 3He(γ,pd) reaction at photon energies between 200 and 800 MeV at all proton c.m. angles between 35° and 145° have been measured using the tagged photon beam facility of the 855 MeV MAMI accelerator in Mainz. Reaction products were detected using the large acceptance detector DAPHNE. The results confirm the rapid decrease of forward-angle cross sections with increasing Eγ whilst at backward angles, aided by the high precision of the measurement, we can see a clear enhancement in the angular distribution which is a possible signature of three-body mechanisms

No full textThe purpose of this study was to record and measure lateral tongue and cheek pressures on posterior maxillary and mandibular teeth during a resting position after having pronounced the letter “m” (in Spanish).- Fifty patients between the ages of 13 and 18 years (25 males and 25 fernales) were selected. Ah of them presented an Angle class I occlusion. An HP-lOO Omega (Technologies Co., Stanford, USA) pressure recorder was used.- An imbalance between bucal and lingual forces was observed. Where the latter showed a value three times greater than that of the former during a resting position. There was great individual variability, but not very rnuch intraindividual variation. Finally, no differences in pressure between sexes were found.Estudio de las preposiciones en reposo de los bordes laterales de la lengua y de los carnillos con oclusión clase I. Ces odont 1965:8:150-152 en adolescentes La presente investigación se hizo en 50 personas (25 hombres y 25 mujeres), de edades entre los 13 y18 años, con oclusión clase I Angle. Su objetivo fue el de registrar las presiones ejercidas por los bordes laterales de la lengua y por los carrillos sobre los dientes posteriores derechos (superiores e inferiores) durante una posición de descanso, después de haber realizado la dicción de la letra “m”. Se quiso establecer así una forma de diagnosticar los diferentes tipos de maloclusión para intervenir en el tratamiento ortodóntico interceptivo. Para esto se utilizó un medidor de presiones serie HHP-100 Omega (Tednológies Co,, Stamford, USA).- Se encontró un desequilibrio entre las fuerzas bucales y linguales, siendo las bucales 3 veces mayores durante una posición de descanso. Hubo gran variación individual, pero poca variación intraindividual; tampoco existió variación de las presiones de los bordes laterales de la lengua y de los carrillos entre los sexos.
