    This is the task dataset for SemEval-2020 Task 7: Assessing Humor in Edited News Headlines. The task’s dataset contains news headlines in which short edits were applied to make them funny, and the funniness of these edited headlines was rated using crowdsourcing. This task includes two subtasks, the first of which is to estimate the funniness of headlines on a humor scale in the interval 0-3. The second subtask is to predict, for a pair of edited versions of the same original headline, which is the funnier version.     In this work a tabu search-based "multi-objective simulation optimisation model " is proposed for loading flexible cell production systems. The problem is formally stated as a goal-programming model hybrid in nature. Some objectives and parameters are determined analytically others are determined from the developed simulation model. The model is solved utilising a tabu search algorithm developed by the author. In the developed methodology parts are assigned to the cells to achieve required performance levels. A capabilitybased approach is used to define processing requirements of products and processing capabilities of production resources. Parts are assigned to cells such that load is balanced between cells and individual production resources within the cells, cell interactions are kept to a minimum, required system performance levels satisfied (when feasible). Example application is provided to explain the developed methodology. 1

    With Além do paradigma (Sobre o legado de Thomas Kuhn), “Beyond the Paradigm (On the legacy of Thomas Kuhn)”, Nabil Araújo undertakes a theoretical contribution about the production of knowledge within the University. “Além” (beyond) here, "beyond the paradigm," provides a triple key for reading. First, it is a study "on the legacy of Thomas Kuhn" and his Structure of Scientific Revolutions (1962) in a broad sense, in which the author thinks about the place of the "paradigm" in the conceptual edifice of the historiography of science. In the second sense, "beyond" indicates something of Thomas Kuhn's own position concerning a legacy such as he did not intended it to be his, in his sayings, a legacy arising from the "excessive plasticity" of the word "paradigm." This excessive plasticity, which causes a "loss of control", as Araújo reminds us, however, can be thought of as an surplus-value of the Kuhnian reflection. In this sense, a third "beyond" is performed, produced by the Araújo’s work itself, as he seeks to situate Kuhn's observations towards an opening. What is aimed at is, as the author proposes, "a truly renewed vision of the function of historiography put into play in Structure".Com Além do paradigma (Sobre o legado de Thomas Kuhn), Nabil Araújo empreende uma contribuição teórica sobre a produção de saber no âmbito da Universidade. “Além” aqui, “além do paradigma”, fornece uma tripla chave de leitura. Primeiramente trata-se de um estudo “sobre o legado de Thomas Kuhn” e seu Structure of Scientific Revolutions (1962) em amplo sentido, pensando o lugar do “paradigma” no edifício conceitual da historiografia da ciência. No segundo sentido, “além” indica algo da posição do próprio Thomas Kuhn relativa a um legado como ele não quis que fosse o seu, nos seus dizeres, decorrente da “plasticidade excessiva” da palavra “paradigma”. Essa excessiva plasticidade, que provoca uma “perda de controle”, como Araújo lembra, no entanto, pode ser pensada como mais-valia da reflexão kuhniana.     International audienceWalking ability can be lost due to several neurological diseases. In this paper, we are interested in the rehabilitation of pediatric patients. For this purpose, an extended L 1 adaptive control has been proposed to control 2 DOF lower limbs exoskele-tons used to rehabilitate kids suffering from Cerebral Palsy (CP). Two methods based on PID controllers have been combined with L 1 adaptive control in order to ensure the limb movement along a predefined trajectory. Then, a comparison study has been established based on tracking errors. Moreover, to improve the robustness of these controllers against uncertainties , several tests with the variations of children masses and lengths have been carried out, with the presence of torque limits using fuzzy logic

    Optimal sliding mode controller for lower limb rehabilitation exoskeleton in constrained environments

    In this article, a lower limb exoskeleton (LLE) under contacting constrained motion has been modelled using augmented Lagrange equations which include Lagrange multiplier and Jacobian vectors. A sliding mode Controller optimized by the grey Wolf optimization algorithm has been used for controlling (LLE) in the case of constrained motion with uncertainties and outside perturbation. The grey wolf optimization algorithm has been used as an optimization algorithm for finding the optimal controllers’ parameters in order to improve the performance of the system. The stability analysis of the closed-loop system has been performed using Lyapunov theory of stability. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed controller structure grey wolf optimization algorithm controller (GW-SMC), a series of comparative simulations have been carried out with other types of recently existing sliding mode control (SMC). The results of numerical simulations indicate the superiority of the sliding mode optimized by the GW-SMC over other types of recently existing controller in terms of tracking errors and robustness towards uncertainties and external disturbances

    L1L1 Adaptive Control of a Lower Limb Exoskeleton Dedicated to Kids’ Rehabilitation

    International audienceIn this chapter, four adaptive controllers have been proposed to control a 2-DOF exoskeleton dedicated to kids’ rehabilitation. These control laws are implemented at the hip and the knee joints. In fact, tracking the gait scheme with an intense and precise work may allow children to increase their brain plasticity. Through the proposed study, it is shown that the augmented L1 adaptive controller is robust regards to parametric variations.Besides, to validate this controller, different scenarios and simulations were carried out to prove its effectiveness

    Towards an Effective Robotic Device for Gait Rehabilitation of Children With Cerebral Palsy

    International audienceThe objective of this study is to focus on the feasibility of a robotic solution for rehabilitation of children with Cerebral Palsy (CP). For this purpose, to restore the walking abilities and in order to stimulate the brain functionality, two rehabilitation techniques have been compared (a conventional rehabilitation and a robotized one). Results indicate that the key of a performant exoskeleton with a good tracking of the gait cycle is to use robust controllers to guarantee the tracking even with kids' parameter variations. A PD controller and a sliding mode controller are implemented and compared in order to prove the difference of their robustness. Through the proposed solution, it has been shown that sliding mode control is more robust than PD controller
