Early parenting is a complex phenomenon that continues to be a significant social concern, affecting many adolescents around the world. However, the scientific debate in recent years on this delicate topic seems to have come to a halt. Why isn't it talked about anymore, or rather, is it talked about less and less? This article aims to provide an in-depth analysis the phenomenon, through the review of existing literature and empirical research, exploring the causes, consequences, and implications of early parenting, which involves both young parents and their children. The socio-cultural, economic, and health-related factors of the individual involved are examined in order to highlight the need for ongoing comprehensive strategies and support systems necessary to address the challenges these young people face in preserving and promoting their well-being. and that of the offspring. The research findings presented in this article contribute to the current body of knowledge and aim to provide food for thought in the field of social well-being

    Generalized Graph k-Coloring Games

We investigate pure Nash equilibria in generalized graphk-coloring games where we are given an edge-weighted undirected graph together with a set of k colors. Nodes represent players and edges capture their mutual interests. The strategy set of each player consists of k colors. The utility of a player v in a given state or coloring is given by the sum of the weights of edges {v, u} incident to v such that the color chosen by v is different than the one chosen by u, plus the profit gained by using the chosen color. Such games form some of the basic payoff structures in game theory, model lots of real-world scenarios with selfish players and extend or are related to several fundamental class of games. We first show that generalized graph k-coloring games are potential games. In particular, they are convergent and thus Nash Equilibria always exist. We then evaluate their performance by means of the widely used notions of price of anarchy and price of stability and provide tight bounds for two natural and widely used social welfare, i.e., utilitarian and egalitarian social welfare

This contribution aims to reflect, from a sociological perspective, on the change in the parental paradigm and the consequent transformations that this change has generated in the parent-child relationship in the third millennium. in this regard, it is opportune to consider the continuous social transformations, which, starting from the change in the parental paradigm, go on to analyse the use that parents and children make of the web and social media, in an attempt to shed light on how the universe of the virtual has significantly influenced the evolution of today’s family. in order to arrive at a wide-ranging vision, it seems appropriate to briefly go over the fundamental stages of the family structure of the past, and then to understand, in fact, the generation of the new family forms and structures, which are still different today in terms of gender, structures and parenting styles

Early parenthood is a phenomenon that is little addressed and analyzed by the various disciplines of study, despite its social importance. This volume aims to explore in detail this issue, with its social, educational, economic and psychological implications, in the context of the self-determination of a young person who, for a variety of reasons, finds himself facing the transition to parenthood during the critical period of his existence, namely adolescence. The analyses contained in the book indicate that early parenthood manifests itself more accentuated in those contexts where the socio-cultural dynamics are rooted and influenced by a history that exerts a strong impact on the decisions and expectations of young people. In these circumstances, becoming parents at a young age can be perceived as an almost inevitable path, necessary to place young people in specific roles and areas, within the community to which they belong. For these and other reasons, the investigation of this phenomenon aims to bring clarity and stimulate a debate that can enrich all the human sciences, providing a significant contribution to the deepening of the understanding of that complex reality that lies behind the figure of the young parent, often relegated to silence by society itself. It is a reality that continues to be considered a taboo subject, which is why the corpus of this treatise consists of a series of questions that underlie the entire study. While admitting several possible answers, the topic presents itself as an intricate labyrinth of interconnected variables, which intertwine and collide, in a territory characterized by multiple facets and a constant presence of uncertainty. The synergistic integration of data from different sources, ranging from scientific research to journalistic and online reporting, constitutes a fundamental methodological approach to fully understand the complexity of the phenomenon of adolescent parents
