hauls himself up to the nearest body for supplies but does not find much off of his dead comrade except for a rifle. Movement in the undergrowth catches his eye and upon realising it was an enemy soldier.
(Hiroo), Mokhtar attempts to attack him. Mokhtar fails to injure Hiroo and after realising that he is a medic, he demands that Hiroo hands over his supplies but the medic has other ideas and attempts to kill him instead. A short tussle ensues with the medic being knocked out cold and Mokhtar fatigued. When they both regain consciousness, they realise they would need to rely on each other to survive. As they interact with each other, they begin to gain each other’s trust and eventually, Hiroo patches up Mokhtar's leg wound.Bachelor of Fine Arts in Media Ar

No full textMokhtar Shalaby was on staff at AUC from 2008 to 2015 as Assistant Director and then Director of Security. He briefly covers his upbringing and career with the Cairo Police Department and the Ministry of Interior, and recalls, while assigned to the Abdeen police station in the 1970s, joining other officers in football (soccer) matches with AUC students. He tells of coming to AUC as Assistant Director of Security responsible for the Tahrir Square Campus, and outlines aspects of handling security there in the years prior to 2011. Shalaby details AUC Security’s response to the demonstrations of the January-February 2011 revolution, as it dealt with protestors entering campus buildings. Actions to safeguard the campus during protests throughout 2011, 2012, and 2013 are addressed, from fire prevention measures to the boarding of Science Building windows and heightening walls and fences. He discusses how AUC security staff reacted during the Mohamed Mahmoud Street clashes in late 2011, for example in dealing with the large numbers of tear gas canisters falling onto the Main Campus grounds. Shalaby explains the restructuring of AUC’s security operations in 2011, with the departure of Director Ashraf Kamal and the appointment of Mahmoud Zouk as Executive Director of Public Safety, as well as later changes in personnel and reporting lines. The 2012 student strike is discussed, with Shalaby revealing (although the New Cairo Campus was out of his scope of responsibility at that time) the harder-line stance (involving the police, legal action, etc.) he advised the AUC administration to take with respect to the protesting students. Shalaby’s time as Director of Security at AUC from 2013 to 2015 is covered, and he comments on the size of the security guard workforce, their responsibilities, and training. Aspects of security on the New Cairo campus discussed include the use of closed circuit cameras, parking enforcement, and episodes ranging from the discovery of a fake bomb to an escaped camel gaining entry to campus

Sesi motivasi yang disampaikan oleh Puan Suhaiza Hasan ini telah diadakan di bilik mesyuarata di SMK Telok Air Tawar. Sesi perkongsian mengenai peluang menyambung pengajian juga turut dibantu oleh ChM Marina Mokhtar dan Cik Nor Azimah Idris dari Jabatan Sains Komputer dan Matematik bersama 80 orang pelajar Tingkatan 5 dengan tajuk “ Ke mana hala tuju ”. Sesi yang diadakan pada 22 Ogos 2023 yang lalu adalah atas pelawaan alumni sekolah yang juga merupakan anak kepada salah seorang staf UiTM Cawangan Pulau Pinang iaitu, En Mazli bin Din. Sesi selama dua jam ini mendapat kerjasama yang baik daripada pelajar dan guru. Semoga dengan sesi perkongsian dan motivasi ini, akan melonjakkan lagi semangat dan keyakinan diri sebelum menghadapi peperiksaan Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia di penghujung tahun 2023 kelak

No full text18 November 2023, Jawatankuasa Pelaksana (Kurikulum) Program Pra-Diploma Kejuruteraan telah menganjurkan bengkel Penyediaan Kertas Cadangan Kurikulum program baru iaitu Pra-Diploma Kejuruteraan. Bengkel yang diketuai oleh Dr Yusnita Mohd Ali, dari Pusat Pengajian Kejuruteraan Elektrik (PPKE) Kampus Pulau Pinang, diadakan bagi menyiapkan rekabentuk dan pelan pengajian lengkap untuk program baru tersebut. Beberapa orang pensyarah dari JSG turut terlibat iaitu En Sharaf Ahmad, En. Mohd Haris Ridzuan Ooi Abdullah, Puan Marina Mokhtar dan Puan Nurul Izza Husin. Turut serta adalah wakil dari Pengajian Kejuruteraan, Jabatan Sains Komputer dan Matematik serta Akademi Pengajian Bahasa. Antara agenda bengkel ini adalah penyediaan pemetaan kursus serta pemurnian dokumen-dokumen berkaitan kurikulum. No full textSatu program Lawatan Ilmu Ke-6 anjuran Jabatan Sains Gunaan (JSG) dengan kerjasama Kelab Kakitangan UiTM (KKUiTM), Cawangan Pulau Pinang telah dijalankan pada 13 Mac 2019 yang lalu. Lawatan ilmu ini yang merupakan tahun ke-6 penganjurannya oleh JSG telah direalisasikan dengan lawatan oleh para pelajar tahun 6 yang baru sahaja selesai menduduki ujian penilaian sekolah rendah (UPSR) bersama beberapa orang pelajar tahun 5. Kehadiran mereka diiringi oleh lima orang guru pengiring. Pelajar ini telah diberikan kepercayaan untuk menjalankan beberapa ujikaji kimia dan fizik di bawah pengawasan beberapa orang pensyarah kimia dan fizik serta pembantu makmal. Mereka turut diberikan ceramah pendek bertajuk ‘Fun with Science’ yang berkisar tentang sains dan kehidupan oleh En Mohd Noor Mokhtar

No full textWe demonstrate the application of a uniform Bragg grating as a dynamically reconfigurable phase encoder-decoder for optical systems. Precise discrete phase modulation between chips is obtained simply by heating segments along the grating with fine resistive wires. Its reliability to generate and recognize various phase code sequences is demonstrated in a 16-chip 20-Gchip/s quaternary phase-shift keying coherent optical code-division multiple access experiment. The bit-error-rate response is also included to highlight its performance
