P-type CuO Nanowires and thin Film for Highly Sensitive Kelvin Probe Gas Sensing Applications
AbstractA comparative study of Kelvin Probe (KP) surface work function analysis of p-type CuO thin films to its nanowires is presented. Thin films were prepared by RF magnetron sputtering and nanowires were grown by thermal oxidation of grown thin films. The structural characterization was carried out by SEM and micro-Raman spectrophotometry. Finally, Surface work function variations of both materials were recorded while exposing them to some oxidizing and reducing gases, looking for a comparison between their gas sensing performances. The collected results were analyzed and compared to improve our understanding about sensing mechanisms involved in these kinds of p-type materials
Conductance and Work Function of TiO2 Nanotubes Based Gas Sensors
AbstractWe studied growth process of TiO2 nanotubes and investigated their gas sensing properties using two different approaches such as chemoresistive and Kelwin probe methods. The morphology and the crystal structure of the samples were analyzed using scanning electron microscopy and micro-Raman spectroscopy. Morphological analysis showed that well-aligned and highly ordered nanotubes were obtained by means of electrochemical anodization method. Structural investigations showed the nanotubes were crystallized in the anatase phase after the post-growth annealing. The functional properties of obtained structures were investigated towards different gases in a wide range of operating temperatures
Bis(N-benzyl-N-methyldithiocarbamato-κ2S,S′)(pyridine-κN)cadmium(II)
The title compound, [Cd(C9H10NS2)2(C5H5N)], features a five-coordinate CdII atom, being coordinated by two nearly symmetrically chelating dithiocarbamate ligands and a pyridine N atom. The resulting NS4 donor set defines a distorted coordination geometry tending toward square pyramidal. In the molecular packing, centrosymmetric ten-membered {...HCNCS}2 synthons arise as a result of methylene-C—H...S interactions. These are connected into layers parallel to (10-2) via weak methyl-C—H...π(phenyl) interactions
Ace-Spire Your MUET: English Club's MUET preparation webinar / Muhammad Aiman Abdul Halim and Nazima Versay Kudus
On 10th June 2023, the English Language Club of UiTM Cawangan Pulau Pinang (UiTMCPP) hosted an intensive Malaysian University English Test (MUET) webinar under the name "Ace-Spire Your MUET." This programme aimed to guide and motivate students gearing up for their imminent MUET examinations, providing them with essential tips and strategies to ace MUET questions while nurturing their analytical skills. Despite postponement of nearly two months from its original date, this 3-hour webinar witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 17 UiTM students and 26 Form Six students from other esteemed institutions. Guided by two Akademi Pengajian Bahasa (APB) lecturers as programme advisors, this initiative was driven solely by passion and collaboration, devoid of any university budget. In a collaboration with Penerbit Ehsan, the English Language Club had successfully provided participants with textbooks, webinar platform, and the expertise of an acclaimed MUET examiner, Mr. Choo Wan Yat. As the author of ACE MUET, along with a repertoire of other esteemed workbooks and textbooks, Mr. Choo is a highly sought-after speaker in the MUET community. His expertise shone as he delved into MUET's Writing and Reading components, endowing participants with invaluable insights aligned with the latest syllabus based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

اردو کی نمائندہ آپ بیتیوں کا مختصر جائزہ: AN OVERVIEW OF THE REMARKABLE URDU AUTOBIOGRAPHIES
An Autobiography is a self-written account of one's life, his experiences, minor and major, his joys and sorrows as well as his trials and tribulations. An author "in his autobiography" gives a vivid description of his childhood, family, friends, professions, culture, traditions and socio-political scenario of his age. Autobiographies are considered a literary genre. In Urdu, lots of autobiographies have been written till date but the most remarkable are the "Tavarikh e Ajeeb (Kala Pani)" by Molana Muhammad Jafar Thanesri, "Qaid e Farang" by Hasrat Mohani, "Sarguzasht" by Abdul Majeed Salik, "Yaadon ki Baraat'' by Josh Malihabadi, "Shahabnama" by Qudrat Ullah Shahab, "Jahan e Danish" by Ehsan Danish, "Mitti Ka Diya" by Meerza Adeeb.
