Designing and testing of new metal nanosubstrates for biomolecular sensors based on surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectroscopy
Title: Designing and testing of new metal nanosubstrates for biomolecular sensors based on surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectroscopy Author: Vlastimil Peksa Department: Institute of Physics of Charles University Supervisor: doc. RNDr. Marek Procházka, Ph.D., Institute of Physics of Charles University Abstract: This experimental methodical work was aimed at the optimization of selected gold and silver substrates and their use in construction of SERS-based biosensors, including following practical application. Several types of substrates, fabricated via a combination of bottom-up techniques on solid surfaces, were tested. The properties of these substrates were examined with probe molecules, namely methylene blue, porphyrins and tryptophan, on a confocal Raman microspectrometer. Obtained findings about the influence of analyte application, objective focusing and internal intensity standard were exploited for optimization of measurement procedures with regard to sensitivity, accuracy and reproducibility. A method for quantitative detection of food dye azorubine (E 122) in commercially available drinks was developed, based on these findings. Its results have shown its potential as a pre-scan method for field application and preliminary testing. Keywords: Metal nanosubstrates, biomolecules,..
Human Factor Reliability Evaluation
This thesis is focused on evaluation human factor reliability of assembly line, which is in company Hella Autotechnik, s.r.o. from Mohelnice. This analysis will be made with several methods. At first will be estimated operator errors with method TESEO, then will be used method Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) for detection hazard factors, which are influenced by production on the assembly line. In the end will be identified hazard precaution with HAZOP study
An O(Tˆ3) algorithm for the capacitated lot sizing problem with minimum order quantities
This paper explores a single-item capacitated lot sizing problem with minimum order quantity, which plays the role of minor set-up cost. We work out the necessary and suffcient solvability conditions and apply the general dynamic programming technique to develop an O(T³) exact algorithm that is based on the concept of minimal sub-problems. An investigation of the properties of the optimal solution structure allows us to construct explicit solutions to the obtained sub-problems and prove their optimality. In this way, we reduce the complexity of the algorithm considerably and confirm its efficiency in an extensive computational study. --production planning, capacitated lot sizing problem, single item, minimum order quantities, capacity constraints, dynamic programming

The coevolution of renewable resources and institutions - implications for policy design
This PhD thesis studies how natural renewable resources and institutions governing those resources mutually influence each other. Theoretical models are developed in which members of a small community have joint access to a common pool resource. We analyze under which circumstances social norms of cooperation evolve that effectively regulate resource exploitation, but also when those social norms break down, identifying obstacles for community governance. Furthermore, in the light of biological and social complexity this thesis analyzes how governmental policy should be designed if self-governance is not sufficient to protect the resource stock. The insights obtained are applied to the case of Arcto-Norwegian cod. An optimal management plan is developed that can be adapted to several policy objectives concerning the utilization of the fleet. In addition, management advice is given for the case that harvesting may trigger an evolutionary response of the fish stock. </p
Aethes larissae Budashkin & Richter 2021, sp. nov.
Aethes larissae Budashkin & Richter sp. nov. (Figs. 5–8) Type material. Holotype ♂, North Macedonia, Galičica Nacional Park, Asan Gjura, 15–16.vi.2017 (I. R.) GP 30438 IgR. Paratype ♂, North Macedonia, same data as for the holotype (I. R.) DNA Barcode TLMF Lep 28715. Diagnosis. Externally and by the structure of male genitalia, the new species most closely resembles Aethes caucasica (Amsel, 1959) (Amsel 1959). However, the new species has wider brown dorsal spot on the forewings. In the male genitalia, it differs from A. caucasica, by the wider socii, broader valva, and aedeagus and, in particular, by the much more stout cornutus. Despite that the COI p-distance of 1.99% between these species lies near the low limit for standard DNA barcode species delimitation (2–4%), they exhibit pronounced morphological characters that clearly separate A. caucasica and A. larissae sp. nov. Description. Adult (Fig. 5). Sexual dimorphism unknown. Wingspan 17 mm. Head (Figs. 6, 7) and thorax comparatively large, covered with dirty yellow scales, frons lighter, tegulae dirty yellow; labial palpus of middle length, thick, 2 nd segment much longer than 3 rd segment, wide, densely covered with very long scales, upper side dirty yellow, lateral side brownish. Segment 3 short, concolorous with second segment. Scapus brown, remaining antennal segments brown, with dirty–yellow rings and densely ciliated in males. Forewing yellow, relatively long and narrow, apex triangular, tornal angle expressed. The wing pattern consists of relatively wide brown dorsal spot and incomplete subterminal fascia. On subterminal fascia, two large brown spots are visible in lower part of the wing, and one smaller and lighter spot at costal margin of wing. Cilia line not visible, cilia yellow. Hindwing and cilia dark brown. Male genitalia. (Fig. 8): Tegumen trapezoidal, broad. Socii relatively long and thick. Median part of transtilla relatively strong and medium wide, trapezoidal, terminally narrowing and with large cloves. Valva broad in basal part, markedly narrowed to top, its lower edge evenly rounded.Aedeagus very broad and short, with a large triangular process ventroapically. Cornutus aciculate, stout, large (longer than half length of the aedeagus), narrow oval with a pointed apex. Molecular data. BIN BOLD: BOLD ACG2061 (n=2). The nearest neighbour is Ae. caucasica with 1.99% pdistance. Bionomy. Bionomy and early stages are unknown. Habitat (Fig. 9). Distribution. Known from North Macedonia only. Etymology. The new species is named in honour the wife of the first author, Larisa Vadimovna Streltsova, a charming woman, a great soul of a person and a major professional specialist in her work field.Published as part of Budashkin, Yuriy & Richter, Ignác, 2021, New records of Cochylini moths (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) from the Balkans, pp. 441-456 in Zootaxa 5082 (5) on page 446, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.5082.5.3, http://zenodo.org/record/579636
In the following paper the author presents Hans Werner Richter’s sociopolitical journalism before the formation of Gruppe 47. The author concentrates on the newspaper Ruf that was published from 1946 to 1947. In this paper the presentation of the political and literary profile is based on a few examples as well as the presentation of particular Richter’s articles. On the one hand the author analyses the subject matter of these articles, on the other the argumentation methods. The remarkable idea of this sociopolitical journalism is the postulate of the pragmatic synthesis between socialism and democracy. It should lead to new Europe after World War II era.Hans Werner Richter als nonkonformistischer Publizist zwischen Humanismus und Sozialismus Im folgenden Beitrag wird die Publizistik Hans Werner Richters aus der Zeit vor der Entstehung der Gruppe 47 präsentiert. Wilhelm Richter i jego dzieła w katedrze gnieźnieńskiej
One of the most important figures among the artisans and artists who flocked to Gdańsk from the German Reich in the 1620s and 1630s was Wilhelm Richter, a native of Bielefeld in northern Westphalia. Initially hired as a journeyman at Abraham van den Blockes workshop, which specialised in sculpture and architecture, after the Master s death Richter became the successor and the actual heir to the former master s practice. He put finishing touches to two tombstones started by van den Blocke: the statuę of Polands Primate Henryk Firlej in Łowicz; and that of Bishop Jerzy Zamoyski in Chełm Lubelski (nowmissing). In 1633, he took part in the assembly of the Neptune Fountain in the Long Market (in the late 18th c. the basin of the fountain replaced the old one). Richter designed a stone ornament for St Jacobs Gate in Gdańsk (demolished in 1895), and decorated the Town Hall with a column portal of Gotland limestone (replaced in 1768 by the current one). In 1651, he authored a family epitaph for St Marys Church, founded by Zygmunt Guldenstern. In 1653-54, commissioned by the Gniezno Cathedral Chapter, Richters workshop designed a set of four portals. Two of these early Baroąue works were placed in the presbytery, and the other two lead to the Chapels of Lord Jesus and the Corpus Christi. The scrutiny of the portals of a proven origin allowed to pinpoint the common features of Richter s work. Therefore, based on their construction and artistic form, the author ventures to attribute morę pieces in the Gniezno Metropolitan Church to the same source. These include the portals leading to the Łubieńskis’, Kołudzkis’, and St Stanislaus’ Chapels, as well as the epitaph of Aleksander Głemobcki and Piotr Odorowski. It is the author s hope that by means of a comparative analysis the sculptures showcased here will be the first among many to kick-start the search for morę pieces executed by Wilhelm Richter himself and his workshop. One of the most important figures among the artisans and artists who flocked to Gdańsk from the German Reich in the 1620s and 1630s was Wilhelm Richter, a native of Bielefeld in northern Westphalia.
