    本研究之目的為研討不同型水稻品種間雜交三個組合中五種數量性狀之遺傳力及其表型遺傳及環境之相關,藉此明瞭不同型水稻品種間雜交數量性狀之遺傳力及相關關係,使對水稻品種改良工作,得到裨益。 本試驗所用材料為二個梗稻品種,嘉農 242 及關果 65 ,與三個秈稻品種 Dular,Binicol 及 C19384 作下列三個之雜交組合; (1) Dular × 嘉農 242 (2) Binicol × C19384 (3) 嘉農 242 × 關東 55 採用逢機區集設計,重複四次,每區集內包括九個試區,單行區,行長四公尺,每行植三十株。所研研究性狀有每株谷產量,株高,穗數,穗重及穗長等,試驗資料係以單株為單位進行統計分析。水稻各種數量性狀 F2 之分佈,不同型間雜交(梗 × 秈),株高,穗長,穗重及每株谷產量 F2 之分佈有超過双親之範圍,同型間雜交, F2 之分佈,超過双親範圍者比較少。 水稻各種數量性狀間相關,一般遺傳相關在大多數情形下,比表型相關係數為大,每株谷重與株高,穗長,穗重及穗數之表型及遺傳相關大部份均為明顯之正關係。 水稻各種數量性狀之遺傳力,在 Dular × 嘉農 242 雜交組合力中,株高,穗長,穗重及每株谷產量之遺傳力比較高,此表示在 F2,世代中,對此性狀行選拔,其效果比較大,而在 Binical × C19384 及嘉農 242 × 關東 55 兩個雜交組合中,一般各性狀之遺傳力均較低,此表明在早期世代中,對此性狀行選拔,比較困難。 註:本研究之完成得國家長期發展科學委員會之補助,統計分析部份承本所李良先生之協助,特此一併誌謝。 The purpose of this study was to evaluate the heritability and inter-relationship among five a ronomic characters in the F2 generation of three rice crosses, with the hope that such information may prove useful to rice breeders. Two Japonia type varieties, Chianung No. 242 and Kuantung 55, and three Indica type varieties, Dular, Binicol and C19384, were selected as parents for this study. The following crosses were made: (1) Dular × Chianung No. 242 (2) Binicol × C19384 (3) Chianung No. 242 × Kuan-tung 55 Randomized block design with 4 redlications was used in this experiment. Each block consisted of 9 plots, in sigale row plot of length 4m., 30 plants were planted. Agronomic characters measured were plant height, panicle weight, panicle length, number of panicles, and grain yield per plant. The date obtained for each character were analyzed on an individual plant basis. The F2 range in Japonica × Indica cross indicated a probable transgressive segregation for some quantitative characters. In general, genetypic correlations were round to be larger than phenotypic correlations in most cases. The phenotypic and genotypic correlations of grain yield with plant height, panicle weight, panicle length, and number of panicles were significant and positive. In Japonica × Inclica crose, heritability for plant height, panicle weight, panicle length, and grain yield per plant were higher indicating that individual plant selec-tion in F2 for these characters should be comparatively effect. The Indica × Indica and Japonica × Japonica crosses heritability for 5 quantitative characters were relatively low. These results indicated that selection for these characters in early gererations would be difficult

    本研究目的為測定水稻產量的構成因素間相關及因果之關係,俾利於水稻育種上選育高產後裔之參考,藉以增進水稻育種選拔工作之效率,使對水稻品種改良,獲得幫助。 本研究所用材料為水稻秈稻 × 粳稻雜交組合F2後裔之試驗資料,該試驗於1964年第二期作在嘉義農業試驗分所舉行,所調查之性狀項目有株高、穗長、穗重、穗數及每株谷重量,每項性狀調查時,均以單株為單位,作為統計分析。每株谷重與株高、穗長、穗重及穗數之表現型及環境相關係數均為極顯著的正相關,在一般情形下,遺傳型的相關係數要比表現型相關係數為大。 由路經係數分析所得結果,獲知在水稻產量的構成因素中,對每株谷重最具有影響力的因素為穗重及穗數,但株高及穗長對每株谷重之影響力均為很小。 The objective of this study was to determine the application of the method of path-coefficients in analysis of the interrelations of camponents of yield with grain yield in rice. The material used in this study was the F2 plants from the Indica x Japonica rice cross. The experiment was carried out on the second crop of 1964 at Chia-yi Agricultural Experiment Station. Agronomic characters recorded on each plant were plant height, length of panicle, weight of panicle, number of panicies, and grain yield per plant. A amalysis of variance on each character and cover-iance analysis for each pair of characters wire made. Simple pheniotypic, genotypic and environmental correlation coefficients were calculated for pairs of the five characters. plant height, length of panicle, weight of panicle, number of panicles were positively and highly correlated with grain yield per plant. Genotypic correlations were, in general, higher than phenotypic correlations in most cases. The results of the path coefficient analyses showed that panicle weight and number of panicles had greatest influence both directly and indirectly on grain yield, but plant height and panicle length had only minor effects

    1. The work was oarriod on Chiayi Experiment Station cooperation with Central Agriculture Research Bureau at 1949-1951. 2. The paper deals with a study on the apaptation of the twenty-six improved rice varieties by the regional test. 3. The materials of the test were choson by Central Agriculture Experiment Bureau. They were divided into two series according to their growth-day, nineteen varieties as an early-rice namely series. and seven as median-rice, namely series C. Two native varieties were selected as cheek. 4. The average yields of the two varieties Yüin-Lien-Chan (筠連粘)and Chung-Nung-No. 4. (中農4號) in the lst crop of series B. and those of the ten varieties Chung-Nung-No. 4. (中農4號), Yüin-Lien-Chan (筠連粘), Si-Lih-Kuh (細粒谷), Tsao-Ho-No. 4. (草禾4號), Mao-Tzu-Tou (帽子頭), Chung-Nung-No. 34 (中農34號), Yüh-Lih-Chou (玉粒早), Fu-Mien-Huang (富綿黃), Chung-Chien-No. 2. (中黔2號) and Shui-Peh-Tiao (水白條) in the 2nd crop of the same series are higher than the average yield of the check according to the analysis of three-years-six-crops-records. The yields of two varieties Chiangsi No. 3613 (江西3613) and Yung-An-Leng-Shui-Peh (永安冷水白) in the 1st crop of series C. and those of four. varieties Yung-An-Leng-Shoi-Peh (永安冷水白), Chiangsi No. 3613 (江西3618), I-Liang-Ta-Peh-Kuh (宜良大白谷) and Chechang-Chung-Sien No. 1 (浙場中秈1號) in the 2nd crop of the same series also reached the level. All the difference of the average yields among above varieties are very significant. 5. The yield of variety Victory (勝利秈) of the series B. does not reach the level, bet it average yield per hectare of lst crop has been over 4,000kg. However, it is lower in the 2nd crop. This shows us that it may be used as a good variety in the lst crop. The yields of other varieties such as Chou-ho-No. 4. (早禾4號) and Mao-Tzu-Tou (帽子頭) are lower in 1st crop but higher in 2nd crop thus they are adapted in 2nd crop. 6. In series C, the yields of variety I-Liang-Ta-Peh-Kuh (宜良大白谷) has been lower in 1st crop but higher in 2nd crop. Therefore, it must be adapted in 2nd crop as a good variety. 7. According to the analysis of varience between the yields, the varieties which can be adapted to the lst and 2nd crops in both series are Yüin-Lien-Chan (筠連粘) Chung-Nung No. 4. (中農4號), Chiangsi-No. 3613 (江西3613) and Ung-An-Lâng-Shui-Peh (永安冷水白). Victory (勝利秈) is most adapted in 1st crop. Si-Lih-Kuh (細粒谷) Chou-Ho No. 4. (早禾4號), Mao-Tzu-Tou (帽子頭) and I-Liang-Ta-Peh-Kuh (宜良大白谷) adapted in 2nd crop under the weather condition of Chiayi. 8. The distance between rows and plants of the experiment employed in these experiments seems rather large. If we take the closer planting distance which are popularly used by the rice-farmers of Taiwan, the yield of the above mentioned varieties per unit would be increased. 9.
