It is well-proven. That the most optimal method of treatment of cystic channel and artery is application of polymeric ligature clips, because duration of operation was 35,3 ± 10,3 min, complications were not observed, that assisted more rapid postoperative rehabilitation of these patients and reduction of terms of stationary treatment.   Keywords: laparoscopic cholecystectomia, cholelithiasis, polymeric clips.

Predicting residual stiffness of cracked composite laminates subjected to multi-axial inplane loading

    No full text
This is a contribution to the exercise that aims to benchmark and validate the current continuum damage and fracture mechanics methodologies used for predicting the mechanical behaviour of fibre-reinforced plastic composites under complex loadings. The paper describes an analytical approach to predict the effect of intra- (matrix cracking and splitting) and inter-laminar (delamination) damage on the residual stiffness properties of the laminate, which can be used in the post-initial failure analysis, taking full account of damage mode interaction. The approach is based on a two-dimensional shear lag stress analysis and the equivalent constraint model of the damaged laminate with multiple damaged plies. The application of the approach to predicting degraded stiffness properties of a multidirectional laminate with multilayer intra- and inter-laminar damage is demonstrated for [0/90/0] and [0/908/0] cross-ply laminates made from a specific glass/epoxy system under in-plane uniaxial and biaxial loading damaged by transverse and longitudinal matrix cracks and crack-induced transverse and longitudinal delamination. © The Author(s) 2013

The author presents his experience with management of 4091 patient with cholelithiasis who were operated. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy was performed in 3745 patients. 24 laparoscopic cholecystectomies were performed by one 10 mm and two 5 mm ports. 14 patients underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy throw one 10 mm and one 5 mm of port with the using of original hook. This method provides good cosmetic results by ordinary instruments and saves all the advantages of laparoscopic cholecystectomy

Strain energy release rate for crack tip delaminations in angle-ply continuous fibre reinforced composite laminates

    No full text
The expressions for the strain energy release rate associated with local delaminations growing from the tips of angle ply matrix cracks in orthotropic laminates loaded in tension are presented. Strain energy release rate and the laminate residual stiffness properties are predicted as functions of matrix crack density and delamination length. © 2003 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved

Three-dimensional elastic deformation of a functionally graded coating/substrate system

    No full text
AbstractThe concept of functionally graded material (FGM) is actively explored in coating design for the purpose of eliminating the mismatch of material properties at the coating/substrate interface, typical for conventional coatings, which can lead to cracking, debonding and eventual functional failure of the coating. In this paper, an FGM coating/substrate system of finite thickness subjected to transverse loading is analysed within the context of three-dimensional elasticity theory. The Young’s modulus of the coating is assumed to vary exponentially through the thickness, and the Poisson’s ratio is assumed to be constant. A comparative study of FGM versus homogeneous coating is conducted, and the dependence of stress and displacement fields in the coating substrate/system on the type of coating, geometry and loading is examined and discussed
