    (A) Purified E/M cells were transfected with siRNAs to knock down the expression of LMP1 or LMP2A. The knockdown efficiencies of these siRNAs in E/M cells were analyzed by Western blot. (B) The changes of CD44 and CD104 profile in E/M cells were analyzed by flow cytometry analysis. (C) Purified xM cells were transfected with siRNAs to knock down the expression of LMP1 or LMP2A. The knockdown efficiencies of these siRNAs in xM cells were analyzed by Western blot. (D) The changes of CD44 and CD104 profile in xM cells were analyzed by flow cytometry analysis. (TIF)</p

For every integer c and every positive integer m ≥ 3, let n = R(m, c) be the least integer, provided that it exists, such that for every coloring [special characters omitted]there exists integers x1, x2,...,xm (not necessarily distinct) such that [special characters omitted]and [special characters omitted]If such an integer does not exist, then let R( m, c) = ∞. The main result is that for every odd integer m ≥ 3 and every positive integer c [special characters omitted

An Einstein's connection which takes the form (2.33) is called an gME*g-ME-connection. Recently, Chung and et al ([15], 1993)introduced a new manifolds, called an n-dimensional gME*g-ME-manifold (debnoted by gMEXn*g-MEXn).The manifold gMEXn*g-MEXn is a generalized n-dimensional Riemannian manifold XnXn on which the differential geometric structure is imposed by the unified field tensor gλυm*gλ \upsilon m satisfying certain conditions through the gME*g-ME-connection. In the following series of two papers, we investigate the submanifolds XmXm of gMEXn*g-MEXn: I. The induced connection on XmXm of gMEXn*g-MEXn II. The generalized fundamental equations on XmXm of gMEXn*g-MEXn In this paper, Part I of the series, we present a brief introduction of n-dimensional g*g-unified field theory, the C-nonholonomic frame of reference in XnXn at points of XmX-m, and the manifold gMEXn*g-MEXn. and then, we introduce the generalized coefficients of the second fundamental form of XmXm and prove a necessary and sufficient condition for the induced connection on XmXm of MEXn*-MEXn to be a gMe*g-Me-connection. Our subsequent paper, Part II of the series, deals with the generalized fundamental equations on XmXm of MEXn*-MEXn, such as the generalized Gauss formulae, the generalized Weingarten equations, and the Gauss-Codazzi equations

    Textural properties of hydrotalcite-like compounds [Al2Li(OH)6]+X 1 m m-. nH2O (Xm-= CO3 2-, NO3 -, Cl-)

Synthetic aluminium-lithium double hydroxides, [Al2Li(OH)6]+ X1/m m-.nH2O (where Xm-= CO3 2-, NO3 -, Cl-) have been prepared by different methods. No microporosity was observed in any sample and hydrothermally treated samples showed the lowest surface area values. A good relationship is found between crystallite size and specific surface area. An explanation of the differences in textural properties found among the samples studied is given on the basis of data obtained by X-ray powder diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and nitrogen adsorption techniques.Peer Reviewe

    (A) Tumors formed by E, E/M, and xM cells were analyzed by H&E staining and IHC analysis for the CD34 (Brown) and PAS (Purple). Pink arrows indicate VM channels (PAS+/CD34-), brown arrows indicate classic angiogenesis (PAS+/CD34+), which is included as a control. Quantification of VM channels determined by microscopy with 400x magnification in randomly chosen fields (n = 3 per group, ** PB) NPC clinical samples were analyzed by IHC analysis for detecting VM channels, three representative areas in one case are shown. (C) The colocalization of ZEB1 (Brown) and PAS (Purple) in xM tumor, as well as NPC clinical sample (D). Images of three representative areas in one tumor sample are shown. (E) Vasculogenic mimicry of E, E/M, and xM cells was analyzed by Matrigel tube formation assay in vitro (Mean +/- SD of three biological replicates, *** P<0.001).</p
