The philosophical discussion on axiologie requires a reexamination of the theological denial put forward by E. Jungel with regard to any ethic concerning values, which he supposed to be incompatible with justification by faith. This reexamination produces a reappraisal of the different models that have been proposed, from Schleiermacher to contemporary Protestant ethics, for descri¬ bing the differentiated connections between value ethics and theological ethics.L'éthique se comprend fréquemment, aujourd'hui , en référence à des valeurs. Or ce concept fait l'objet, dans la tradition, d'une problémati-sation permanente. Par ailleurs, la défense et l'illustration du christia¬ nisme semblent souvent se jouer dans l'articulation de «valeurs chré¬ tiennes ». Qu'en est-il de cette double identification larvée entre éthique et éthique des valeurs d'une part, entre éthique chrétienne et valeurs spécifiquement chrétiennes d'autre part ? Le scepticisme à l'égard du thème des valeurs est-il lié à une forme particulière prise par la philosophie des valeurs ou porte-t-il sur tout recours à l'axiologie ? Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
