No full textThe article examines the effectiveness of implementing financial and investment strategies in industrial enterprises, emphasizing the need for multi-level evaluation tools in a rapidly changing economic environment. The study highlights that the implementation of financial and investment strategies is directly influenced by external market dynamics, technological shifts, and organizational capabilities. The author systematizes existing scientific approaches to evaluating enterprise development and argues that traditional assessment models—based solely on financial indicators or integrated indexes—are insufficient for modern industrial enterprises.
Special attention is given to the specifics of agricultural machine-building enterprises, whose development depends not only on internal efficiency but also on external factors such as access to financial resources, market fluctuations, and innovation adoption. The article stresses the importance of linking enterprise development indicators with the indicators of financial management effectiveness and adjusting such evaluations to reflect positive or negative environmental influences.
This system is closely connected with enterprise development management processes and supports continuous improvement of financial decision-making. The multi-indicator approach ensures a more accurate assessment of strategic financial management, enabling enterprises to identify development reserves and optimize financial support mechanisms.
У статті розглядається ефективність впровадження фінансових та інвестиційних стратегій на промислових підприємствах, підкреслюючи необхідність багаторівневих інструментів оцінки в умовах швидкозмінного економічного середовища. У дослідженні підкреслюється, що на впровадження фінансових та інвестиційних стратегій безпосередньо впливають динаміка зовнішнього ринку, технологічні зрушення та організаційні можливості. Автор систематизує існуючі наукові підходи до оцінки розвитку підприємств та стверджує, що традиційні моделі оцінки, засновані виключно на фінансових показниках або інтегрованих індексах, є недостатніми для сучасних промислових підприємств.
Особлива увага приділяється специфіці підприємств сільськогосподарського машинобудування, розвиток яких залежить не лише від внутрішньої ефективності, а й від зовнішніх факторів, таких як доступ до фінансових ресурсів, коливання ринку та впровадження інновацій. У статті наголошується на важливості пов'язування показників розвитку підприємств з показниками ефективності фінансового менеджменту та коригування таких оцінок з урахуванням позитивного чи негативного впливу навколишнього середовища.
Ця система тісно пов'язана з процесами управління розвитком підприємств та підтримує постійне вдосконалення прийняття фінансових рішень. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Problems of evaluation of quality of accounting in the system of management by the enterprise
No full textThe paper examines key problems in evaluating the quality of accounting within enterprise management systems. Special attention is given to systemic weaknesses such as insufficient internal control, limited professional competencies, outdated analytical tools, and challenges arising from digitalization. These factors reduce the reliability of accounting data and negatively influence strategic decision-making, budgeting, operational control, and risk management. The paper also outlines directions for improving accounting quality through unified evaluation criteria, stronger internal control mechanisms, digital integration, professional development, and adoption of modern technologies.
У статті розглядаються ключові проблеми оцінки якості бухгалтерського обліку в системах управління підприємством. Особлива увага приділяється системним недолікам, таким як недостатній внутрішній контроль, обмежені професійні компетенції, застарілі аналітичні інструменти та проблеми, що виникають внаслідок цифровізації. Ці фактори знижують достовірність бухгалтерських даних та негативно впливають на прийняття стратегічних рішень, бюджетування, операційний контроль та управління ризиками. The role of transnational agrarian corporations in shaping Ukraine’s food security during the war
No full textThe paper examines the role of transnational agrarian corporations in strengthening Ukraine’s food security during the war. Disruptions in logistics, destruction of infrastructure, and shortages of essential resources have increased the importance of corporations such as Cargill, Bunge, ADM, Bayer, Syngenta, and others. Their investment, technological support, and participation in alternative export routes have helped stabilize production, maintain export flows, and support farmers. At the same time, the study highlights risks related to market concentration and the displacement of smaller producers. The paper concludes that effective cooperation between the state and transnational corporations is crucial for restoring Ukraine’s agricultural resilience.
У статті досліджується роль транснаціональних аграрних корпорацій у зміцненні продовольчої безпеки України під час війни. Перебої в логістиці, руйнування інфраструктури та дефіцит основних ресурсів підвищили значення таких корпорацій, як Cargill, Bunge, ADM, Bayer, Syngenta та інших. Їхні інвестиції, технологічна підтримка та участь в альтернативних експортних маршрутах допомогли стабілізувати виробництво, підтримувати експортні потоки та підтримувати фермерів. Водночас у дослідженні висвітлюються ризики, пов'язані з концентрацією ринку та витісненням дрібних виробників. У статті робиться висновок, що ефективна співпраця між державою та транснаціональними корпораціями має вирішальне значення для відновлення стійкості сільського господарства України

Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
