    Biography of Lin Wen Zhong Gong has another way to call, that is Judge Lin. The leading character is Lin Ze-Xu. This book is based on functionary experience of Lin Ze-Xu, with the captivating plots of court case, helping by highly skilled military attach\uc3\ua9s and chivalrous knights, and the history facts of Opium War. It makes Lin Ze-Xu\ue2s Confucian temperament and tragic mood more, also contrasts with author\ue2s sorrow and furiousness for the politics at the time. History, court case, martial arts\ue2\ua6\ue2\ua6etc. are essence of this book and it broadens the way of this writing style. The topic of the thesis is \ue2An Analysis of Judge Lin\ue2. The following thesis will be divided into six different chapters. The introduction is Chapter one of the thesis, which is including researching motive and purpose, literature review of predecessors, researching version by existing information, raising questions, choosing research methods and arranging chapters. In chapter Two, I discuss the study of characters of Lin Ze-Xu, also makes a deep analysis of author\u27s purpose of writing him. In chapter Three, I analyze supporting actors and actress. Meanwhile, I illustrate author\u27s purpose of writing supporting actress because the author had different manner to describe supporting actress. Moving to the Chapter Four, I mainly focus on the plots of Judge Lin, and organize cases of Lin Ze-Xu and his subordinates to understand features of cases. In Chapter Five, I represent the causes of Opium War. China and England had difference of opinions of opium. Therefore, it is easier to comprehend what the author\u27s purpose is. In the last chapter I summarize the main points of the preceding chapters and confirm particularity of Judge Lin

Type material examined. Holotype, &female;, China, Xizang autonomous region, Nyalam (Quxiang), 19 August 2014, IZSNU; paratype, 1&female;, the same data as holotype, IZSNU. Notes. This species is not a representative of the genus Aalatettix because the posterior margins of lateral lobes of pronotum only with ventral sinus and tegminal (upper) sinus absent; tegmina and hind wings are invisible (“vestigial” type). It belongs to the genus Formosatettix. Formosatettix nyalamensis is easy to identify: the width of the vertex between the eyes 1.6 times the width of a compound eye; pronotum compressed and distinctly tectiform, its surface with sporadic small tubercles; anterior margin of pronotum obtuse protruding; lower margin of hind process straight.     Design of hybrid split-capacitors and split-inductors applied in positive output super-lift luo-converters

    The DC/DC conversion technology has been developed very fast over the decades, and many new types of DC/DC converters are designed. As a very important part of the DC/DC conversion technology, voltage-lift (VL) technology has been widely used in design of DC/DC converters, and the theory is maturely built. While the output voltage of this kind of converters only increases in arithmetic progression when more stages are added. By using super-lift (SL) technique, the output voltage will increase in geometric progression. In this paper, a novel approach is introduced – super-lift Luo-converters armed with split-capacitors and split-inductors. By replacing the original capacitors and inductors with these split elements the output voltage will be lifted to another higher level. This is a very important contribution to the conversion technology by Professor Luo Fang Lin. In this report, formulas and simulation results are presented and analyzed.Bachelor of Engineerin

    Solving the Author Problem of \ue2Dream of the Red Chamber\ue2 with the Writing Style Indicator

    The question of whether the number of authors of \ue2Dream of the Red Chamber\ue2 is only one or not has been discussed extensively since 1750. To clarify the number of authors of the book, in this thesis, we take some ideas of previous studies and conduct experiments with machine learning classifiers with various features (word count, word frequency, sentence pattern, change points, etc.). Finally, we find that feature selection is more important than a classifier itself. We figure out the property for revealing the nature of the writing habits of different authors, and formulating the writing style categories. We use CkipTagger of Academia Sinica in Taiwan to break words and give word-based labels, and then organize 61 kinds of words into 45 writing style categories. Our writing style categories could correctly distinguish the same type of books of different authors, but it is difficult to distinguish the same type of books of the same author. This result means that our writing style categories could correctly analyze the writing styles and distinguish the habits of different authors. In addition, to test the effectiveness of the writing style categories, we apply SVM (support vector machine) classifier and Tanimoto similarity to the experiments on the same type of books of the same author. The result shows that the writing style categories is more stable than other features. Then we perform three experiments of the same author from same books, the same author from different books, and different authors. These are carried out for 42 control group novels. Then the corresponding SVM accuracy and Tanimoto value range are obtained as the writing style indicator. Finally, we perform the same experiments on the first 80 episodes and the last 40 episodes of \ue2Dream of the Red Chamber\ue2. According to the experimental results, we conclude that the question of whether there is one or more than one authors in the entire book of \ue2Dream of the Red Chamber\ue2 is inconclusive. We cannot prove that there is only one author, and we cannot prove that there are multiple authors either.     Roscoea cangshanensis M. H. Luo, X. F. Gao & H. H. Lin, a new species of the Zingiberaceae from Yunnan, China, is described and illustrated. The new species is related to R. forrestii Cowley in habit, but differs in having 2-lobed labellum, each lobe 2-lobulate, base narrowed to a stalk with white lines, and narrower leaf blade, (2-)7-24X1.5-2.5 cm, with base narrow to petiole-like. The new species is also similar to R. debilis Gagnep. in having leaf base narrow to petiole-like, labellum obovate-cuneate, 2.5-3.5X2.5-3.0 cm, with white lines at throat, but differs in having bracts non-tubular, shorter, 5-15 mm long, concealed in leaf sheaths, corolla tubes longer, 10-12.5 cm long, labellum. 2-lobed with each lobe further 2-lobulate

    Investigation of a super-lift luo-converter used in solar panel system

    With the increasing energy shortage and environmental pollution, the studies and applications of solar power have attracted growing interest among researchers in the relevant field. Although solar power has many advantages such as cleanness, renewability and environmental-friendliness, it is still inevitably affected by the changeable sunlight and weather condition. As a result, the output of a solar panel tends to be unstable. Furthermore, if the voltage variation is too large, it will have bad effect on loads or power grid. Super-Lift Luo-Converter has very high voltage transfer gain as well as many other advantages such as high efficiency, simple structure and low cost. A double closed-loop control has the ability to make the output voltage closely track a reference value. Therefore, in this project, a solar panel power system is designed using the Super-Lift Luo-Converter with a closed-loop control to obtain the desired output voltage. To make sure that the designed system met the design requirements, the open-loop and closed-loop simulations were carried out by using PSIM. The simulation results showed that the final output voltage was stable, which meant the designed solar panel system could effectively increase the stability of the output voltage. This project not only attempts to reflect the current development trend of the renewable energy but also aims to introduce some innovations such as the use of Super-Lift Luo-Converter and closed-loop control. It is therefore hoped that the solar panel power system herein designed will have good prospects for application.Bachelor of Engineerin
