Lu=x^u+kux=x f(x,y) Eliptik denklemi için genelleştirilmiş fonksiyon sınıflarında bazı problemler
This work consists of six parts. The first part, which is the introduction part, organized to help, the other parts in the points of understanding. In the second part we have been given domain D and a solution related with the equation (1.1) given, on a part of the boundary of D. Under these conditions we examined the solution of the boundary value problem in domain D. We have also examined the properties of existency, uniticty and stability for the solution of the problem in some known spaces. In these examinations we used a priori, Galerkin and Carleman methods. In the third part we add the term K(x, y, %, tj) u (£, t|) dÇ dTj to the equation (1.1) and examined the solution of the new boundary value problem as in the second part. After this we obtained some results similar to the second part. In part four, we examined the mixed problem related with the equation (1.1 ). In part five, we examined the inverse problem of finding the pair of ( u, f ) related with the equation Lu = x f ( x, 'y ). In the last part, which is the sixth part, we examined the solution of Cauchy problem related with the equation of Lu = x f ( x, 'y ). After that we add the condition of u| = u 2 to the Cauchy problem examined the inverse problem of finding ( u, f ) pair. Key Words : Potential theory, elliptic type equation, inverse problem, mixed problem generalized function, Galerkin method.Bu çalışma altı bölümden oluşmaktadır. Energy Spending and Vulnerable Households
A sustainable energy policy needs to balance between the reduction of carbon emissions and protection of vulnerable households and avoid a widening of the existing "energy gap" among the consumers. This study
investigates energy spending for different consumer groups, in particular focussing on vulnerable households. Vulnerable households are more likely to be affected by fuel poverty and have difficulties in warming their
homes adequately. In this context we explore energy spending among households on very low incomes, including pensioners, female single parent, and benefit recipients. We describe how energy spending of these households has changed over time using a household panel
dataset covering a period of 17 years, starting in 1991. We discuss the reasons that these households have higher than average energy bills and the current policy context and approaches such as the implementation of smart metres are addressed
On the design of two single event tolerant slave latches for scan delay testing
This paper proposes two new slave latches for improving the Single Event Upset (SEU) tolerance of a flip- flop in scan delay testing. The two proposed slave latches utilize additional circuitry to increase the critical charge of the flip-flop compared to designs found in the technical literature. The first (second) latch design achieves a 5.6 (2.4) times larger critical charge with 11% (4%) delay and 16 % (9%) power consumption overhead at 32nm feature size as compared to the best design found in the technical literature. Moreover, it is shown that the proposed slave latches have also superior performance in the presence of a single event with a multiple node upset
How persistent is disaggregate inflation? An analysis across EU 15 countries and HICP sub-indices
This paper analyses the degree of inflation persistence in the EU15, the euro area and each of its member states using disaggregate price indices from the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices. Our results reveal substantial heterogeneity across countries and indices. The overall results, based on both parametric and non-parametric persistence measures, suggest a very moderate degree of median and mean inflation persistence. For most price indices we are able to reject the unit root hypothesis, as well as the notion of disaggregate inflation exhibiting a high degree of persistence. Durable goods and services tend to be relatively less persistent than other indices. Aggregation effects, both across indices and countries, tend to be present. We find structural breaks both owing to the change in the monetary regime and to the modified treatment of sales in the official HICP series. The latter tends to reduce the measured degree of inflation persistence. JEL Classification: E31, C21, C22, C14Aggregation effect, Inflation persistence, Mean reversion, structural breaks
