Isospora pitiguari Lopes, Berto, Luz, Galvão, Ferreira & Lopes, 2014, n. sp.
Isospora pitiguari n. sp. Type host: Rufous-browed peppershrike Cyclarhis gujanensis Gmelin, 1789 (Aves: Passeriformes: Vireonidae). Type locality. Marambaia Island (23 °04’S, 43 ° 53 ’W), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Site of infection. Not investigated. Type-material. One-half of the oocysts were kept in 10 % aqueous buffered formalin (v/v) and the other half were stored in 70 % ethanol according Duszynski & Gardner (1991). Both samples were deposited in the Parasitology Collection, in the Department of Animal Parasitology, at UFRRJ, located in Seropédica, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Phototypes and line drawings were deposited as well. The repository number is P- 46 / 2013. Etymology. The specific epitaph is derived from the common local name for the host, which is ‘pitiguari’. Description (Figs 1 a–c; 2 a–c). Oocyst shape (n = 11) spherical to sub-spherical; oocyst wall bilayered; wall thickness 1.5 (1.3–1.6); outer wall smooth, c. 2 / 3 of total thickness; L × W = 26.8 × 25.7 (23–28 × 23–28), L/W ratio = 1.0 (1.0– 1.1); M, PG and OR: absent. Sporocyst shape (n = 11) rounded to slightly ovoidal; L × W = 14.4 × 11.6 (13–15 × 10–13); L/W ratio = 1.2 (1.2–1.3); SB present, flattened, 0.5 high × 2.5 wide; SSB present, prominent, rounded, 2.0 high × 3.0 wide; PSB absent; SR present, composed of granules of different sizes; SZ vermiform with 1 posterior SRB and centrally located N. Remarks. Isospora pitiguari differs from other Isospora species from the passerines of same Parvorder (Table 1). In I. pitiguari lack PG, which is present in Isospora brachyrhynchi Wobester & Cawthorn, 1985, Isospora cyanocoracis Upton, Current & Clubb, 1985, Isospora calocitta Upton, Wright & Langen, 1995 and Isospora samoaensis Adamczyk, McQuistion & LaPointe, 2004. Isospora attilae n. sp. Type host. Grey-hooded attila Attila rufus (Vieillot, 1819) (Aves: Passeriformes: Tyrannidae). Type locality. Marambaia Island (23 °04'S, 43 ° 53 'W), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Remarks. Isospora attilae differs from other Isospora species from the passerines of same family (Table 1). Isospora mionectesi has oocysts and sporocysts larger than I. attilae. Isospora feroxis is very similar to I. attilae, however, it can be distinguished by SB flattened and ovoidal shape of sporocyst (Berto et al., 2009 a; Berto et. al. 2009 b). Measuring industry-science links through inventor-author relations: A profiling method
In this pilot study we examine the performance of text-based profiling in recovering a set of validated inventor-author links. In a first step we match patents and publications solely based on their similarity in content. Next, we compare inventor and author names on the highest ranked matches for the occurrence of name matches. Finally, we compare these candidate matches with the names listed in a validated set of inventor-author names. Our text-based profile methodology performs significantly better than a random matching of patents and publications, suggesting that text-based profiling is a valuable complementary tool to the name searches used in previous studies.innovation; industry-science links; text-based profiling;
Ernani Silva Bruno: Intellectual Trajectory and Methods of Constructing São Paulo\'s Past
Este trabalho busca analisar a trajetória intelectual e modos de trabalho de Ernani Silva Bruno, a fim de discutir sua relação com a cidade de São Paulo, seus métodos de produção, bem como identificar seu enquadramento teórico em relação às principais correntes de história e memória. Em um primeiro momento, explora-se a trajetória pessoal e profissional do autor estudado. Posteriormente, apresenta-se uma revisão teórica acerca dos principais conceitos relacionados à história e memória. Em seguida, analisa-se as principais produções acerca do passado da cidade de São Paulo e, por fim, as principais obras de Silva Bruno, articulando-as com o conteúdo teórico e com as demais obras apresentadas anteriormente. Justifica-se essa pesquisa a partir da identificação da obra de Ernani Silva Bruno como referência no tocante à construção do passado de São Paulo, apesar de o autor não ser historiador de formação, nem ser aceito como tal pela comunidade acadêmica de história, levantando-se questionamentos acerca de sua importância para a construção coletiva de memória na cidadeThis research aims to analyze Ernani Silva Brunos path and work to discuss his relationship with the city of São Paulo, his methods of production, as well as to identify his theoretical framework in relation to the main currents of history and memory. Initially, the personal and professional trajectory of the author under study is explored. Subsequently, a theoretical review is presented on the main concepts related to history and memory. Next, the main productions regarding the past of the city of São Paulo are analyzed, and finally, Silva Bruno\'s major works are examined, linking them to the theoretical content and other works presented earlier. O treinamento consiste em preparar gerentes para a administração e a liderança de seus subordinados. As bases teóricas do jogo são a pirâmide das necessidades de Maslow e a Liderança Situacional de Hersey e Blanchard. A dissertação analisa o jogo Relações Humanas descrito por Taja e Maldonado, propondo alterações essenciais do modelo e da operação do sistema. Como um novo nome - Líder - são descritos neste trabalho alterações no modelo matemático e sistema computacional, a inclusão de novos e importantes mecanismos de animação e de um método de avaliação baseado no método de multicritérios AHP.
