JH-Operators and occasionally weakly g-biased pairs in fuzzy symmetric spaces
We introduce the notions of JH-operators and occasionally weakly g-biased mappings in fuzzy symmetric spaces to prove common fixed point theorems for self-mappings satisfying a generalized mixed contractive condition. We also prove analogous results for two pairs of JH-operators by assuming symmetry only on the set of points of coincidence. These results unify, extend and complement many results existing in the recent literature. We give also an application of our results to product spaces
Improvements to bit line contact processing in trench DRAM
[[abstract]]Ionized physical vapor deposition of titanium and titanium nitride contact metal was investigated to assess whether adding extra nitrogen into the chamber reduced contact current leakage and whether lowering the RF bias power would reduce ion bombardment. The results of multiple analyses confirm that plasma deposition with extra nitrogen can suppress the accumulation of Ti atoms and, therefore, the formation of TiSi(x), and that lowering the RF power can reduce the ratio of resputtering and decrease the thickness of the Ti layer. The two techniques can be effectively implemented in bit line contact processing to reduce current leakage while improving product performance and reliability. (C) 2011 American Vacuum Society. Passivation of yellow luminescence defects in GaN film by annealing and CF4 plasma treatment
[[abstract]]In this study, we demonstrated that yellow luminescence (YL) defects can be mitigated with proper annealing or CF4 plasma treatment. Multiple material analyses, including X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and surface roughness measurements were performed to investigate improvements in GaN film material properties caused by annealing and CF4 plasma treatment. Filling vacancies during the annealing process and incorporating fluorine atoms to bond with dangling bonds during the plasma treatment process may lessen YL defects and decrease YL luminescence.[[note]]SC

Psychometric properties of the Chinese quality of life instrument (HK version) in Chinese and Western medicine primary care settings
Background: The Chinese Quality of Life Measure (ChQOL) had only been validated on a small number of selected subjects in Hong Kong and had never been tested in the Western medicine (WM) primary care setting. Aims: and objectives To test the psychometrics properties of ChQOL(HK version) in both TCM and WM general outpatient clinics. Methods: Three samples of Chinese adult patients [(1) 569 consulting TCM clinics for episodic illnesses; (2) 524 consulting WM clinics for episodic illnesses; (3) 205 consulting WM clinics for chronic disease follow-up] in Hong Kong were invited to complete the ChQOL(HK version) and the SF-36 Health Survey during their consultations and 2 weeks after consultations. The scaling assumptions, factor structure, convergent construct validity, reliability, responsiveness, and discriminatory power of the ChQOL were evaluated. Results: Majority of items satisfied the scaling assumptions. A two instead of 3-factor structure was found with physical form and emotion facets loading on one factor. Convergent construct validity was confirmed with moderate correlations with SF-36 scores. Internal consistency and test-retest reliability were satisfactory. The ChQOL(HK version) was able to detect significant improvements 2 weeks after consultations, and it was able to discriminate between groups with different illness severity, age, and sex. Conclusion The ChQOL(HK version) was shown to have satisfactory validity, reliability, discriminatory power, and responsiveness in both TCM and Western medicine primary care settings. The validity of the 3-domain scaling structure needs further evaluation. © The Author(s) 2011.published_or_final_versionSpringer Open Choice, 21 Feb 201
STRATEGI BAURAN PEMASARAN AIR MINERAL HK DIKABUPATEN FAKFAK
Engaged in the industrial sector to meet the needs of the majority of society. The HK Mineral Water Industry was founded in 2011 until now. The marketing mix in the HK mineral water business is already good enough so that the marketing process with the 4P concept applied can run according to the market conditions at the sales location. The purpose of writing the Assignment report The end is to find out the marketing mix strategy for HK Mineral Water by the HK Mineral Water business in Fakfak district. The author uses a descriptive analysis method that compares existing data with various theories that support existing data with various theories that support and are explanatory and expounding. Measurement of variables This is done using the Libert scale, which is used for the attitudes, opinions and perceptions of a person or group of people. This research involved 50 respondents from the population of HK mineral water consumers in the city of Fakfak. The questionnaires distributed have all been distributed and can be used as data in this research. Regarding Air HK product quality, regarding the packaging of Air HK products it is in the good category. A product is anything that a producer can offer to the market to fulfill the market's desires or needs to fulfill desire or need. In this research, the implementation of the marketing strategy used by HK Mineral Water is quite good because it always focuses on fulfilling the needs and desires of consumers. From the results of the research carried out, it can be concluded that the research results are the marketing mix strategy for HK Mineral Water in Fakfak district from all product variables with respondents who said that the Air Mineral HK product was in the good category with 1559 points, it could be concluded that the Air HK product was running well.

Psychometrics and population norm of the Chinese (HK) SF-36 Health Survey_version 2
Objective: To establish the psychometric properties and norm of the Chinese (HK) SF-36 version 2 Health Survey for the adult population in Hong Kong (HK) to facilitate its application and interpretation. Design: A cross-sectional random telephone survey of the general adult population. Subjects: 2410 Chinese adults randomly selected from the general Chinese adult population in Hong Kong. The mean age of the subjects was 42.9 (S.D. 17.3) years, 48% were men and 38% had one or more chronic disease. Main outcome measures: Responses to the SF-36v2 Health Survey questions were extracted. Item-scale correlations, internal and test-retest reliabilities, and the factor structure of the SF-36v2 Health Survey scores were analysed. The SF-36v2 Health Survey scores were calculated by the standard algorithm to establish the population norm. Results: All items had 100% scaling success indicating discriminant validity. Internal consistency and test-retest reliabilities of all scales were good (coefficients 0.66 to 0.89). The hypothesized two-factor structure underlying construction of the physical and mental health summary scales was confirmed. The psychometric properties of the SF-36v2 Health Survey were generally better than version 1. There were significant differences in the population norms between versions 1 and 2 of the Chinese (HK) SF-36 Health Survey, especially in the role-physical and role-emotional scales. Conclusion: The Chinese (HK) SF-36v2 Health Survey is valid and reliable for measuring HRQOL of Chinese adults in Hong Kong, and population norm is now available to support the interpretation of its scores.published_or_final_versio
C-Reactive Protein Induces Interleukin-6 and Thrombospondin-1 Protein and mRNA Expression through Activation of Nuclear Factor-kappa B in HK-2 Cells
Background: Although C-reactive protein (CRP) is significantly increased in patients with diabetic nephropathy, whether CRP exerts direct proinflammatory effects on human renal tubular epithelial cells (HK-2 cells) is still unclear. Methods: HK-2 cells were incubated with purified CRP at clinically relevant concentrations (0, 5, 10, 20 and 40 mu g/ml). The protein and transcript levels of thrombospondin-1 (TSP-1) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) were determined by ELISA and RT-PCR. Phosphorylation of p38MAPK was investigated through Western blot analysis in HK-2 cells induced by CRP. The activation of nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-kappa B) was studied via EMSA. A specific p38MAPK inhibitor (SB203580) and an NF-kappa B inhibitor (PDTC; pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate) were used to analyze the signal transduction in CRP induction. To explore the direct or indirect role of CRP in HK-2 cells, IL-6 or TSP-1 antibodies were used. The expression of IL-6, TSP-1 and transforming growth factor-beta(1) (TGF-beta(1)) were determined through Western blot analysis in HK-2 cells. Results: In HK-2 cells, purified CRP significantly induced protein release and mRNA expression of IL-6 and TSP-1 in a dose- and time-dependent manner. TGF-beta(1) protein was overexpressed in HK-2 cells induced by CRP, which cannot be inhibited by IL-6 or TSP-1 antibodies. CRP triggered phosphorylation of p38MAPK and activation of NF-kappa B-mediated signal transduction. SB203580 (5 mu m) and PDTC (50 mu m) efficiently suppressed those effects of CRP in HK-2 cells. Conclusions: CRP induces IL-6 and TSP-1 protein release and mRNA expression from HK-2 cells via activation of the p38MAPK and NF-kappa B signaling pathways and TGE-beta(1) was highly expressed in HK-2 cells, suggesting that CRP plays an important role in the propagation and prolongation of inflammation in renal fibrosis.
