Remarks on the Bogoliubov-Valatin transformation
A mistake in the new formulation of the
Bogoliubov-Valatin transformation [W.S. Liu, X.P. Li, Eur. Phys. J. D 2, 1 (1998)]
is pointed out and an exact formulation
is reconstructed by using the disentangling technique for matrices
A MEMS device for continuously tunable optical buffering
We present design and fabrication of free-standing InP optical waveguides for MEMS-actuated optical buffering. A continuously tunable delay time of 10ps is predicted in a 1mm long device with the operation voltage of 3V
Thermodynamic and kinetic study on interfacial reaction and diamond graphitization of Cu Fe-based diamond composite
Cu–Fe based diamond composites used for saw-blade segments are directly fabricated by vacuum and pressure assisted sintering. The carbide forming elements Cr and Ti are added to improve interfacial bonding between diamond and the Cu–Fe matrix. The interfacial reactions between diamond/graphite and Cr or Ti, and diamond graphitization are investigated by thermodynamics/kinetics analyses and experimental methods. The results show that interfacial reactions and graphitization of diamond can automatically proceed thermodynamically. The Cr3C2, Cr7C3, Cr23C6, and TiC are formed at the interfaces of composites by reactions between diamond and Cr or Ti; diamond graphitization does not occur because of the kinetic difficulty at 1093 K under the pressure of 13 MP
Readout of a 176 pixel FDM system for SAFARI TES arrays
In this paper we present the results of our 176-pixel prototype of the FDM readout system for SAFARI, a TES-based focal-plane instrument for the far-IR SPICA mission. We have implemented the knowledge obtained from the detailed study on electrical crosstalk reported previously. The effect of carrier leakage is reduced by a factor two, mutual impedance is reduced to below 1 nH and mutual inductance is removed. The pixels are connected in stages, one quarter of the array half of the array and the full array, to resolve intermediate technical issues. A semi-automated procedure was incorporated to find all optimal settings for all pixels. And as a final step the complete array has been connected and 132 pixels have been read out simultaneously within the frequency range of 1-3.8MHz with an average frequency separation of 16kHz. The noise was found to be detector limited and was not affected by reading out all pixels in a FDM mode. With this result the concept of using FDM for multiplexed bolometer read out for the SAFARI instrument has been demonstrated.QN/Gao La
A Historical Study on the Theory and Philosophy of Statistical Inference by W. S. Gosset
The main purpose of this paper is to clarify the theoretical and philosophical idea of statistical inference by W.S. Gosset who is one of most famous statisticians in 20th century. In general, his discovery of t distribution may be regarded as one of most important contributions to mathematical statistics. However, the author denies this appreciation to W.S. Gosset, because t distribution was discovered by German mathematician, J. Luroth before W.S. Gosset. Then, the author tried to analyse the theoretical and philosophical differences among the statistical inferences by K. Pearson, R.A. Fisher and W.S. Gosset.10KJ00004508460研究論文Research Paperjournal articl
Spatial location of survy sites for Stipa purpurea grassland on the Tibetan Plateau
This dataset includes 336 records of the Spatial location of survy sites for Stipa purpurea grassland on the Tibetan Plateau. Three fields are presented in the dataset, they are species name, longtitude and latitude. Among these records, 69 were gathered by field investigation in 2013, 25 were downloaded from GBIF (https://www.gbif.org/), 98 were collected from specimens (http://www.cvh.ac.cn/), and the others were taken from the published literature (Yue et al., 2014; Liu and Qi, 2015; Liu et al., 2016; Ma and Sun, 2018).
