    Iron deficiencies in pregnancy and their pharmacotherapy

    I.N.&nbsp;Korotkikh, O.V.&nbsp;Litvinenko N.N.&nbsp;Burdenko Voronezh State Medical University, Voronezh, Russian Federation Abstract Iron deficiency anemia (IDA) is a common complication of pregnancy which have negative health effects for both mothers and their babies. Adequate therapy for IDA is an effective treatment for anemia in pregnancy. The aim of this study was to assess the efficacy of IDA treatment in pregnant women with Tardiferon. 45 pregnant women with IDA stage 1 were followed-up in 2019. All women were prescribed with prolong-release ferrous sulfate (Tardyferon). Treatment duration was 30 days (80 mg/1 tablet daily). Blood count was evaluated after 1 month. In pregnant women who received Tardyferon, the levels of hemoglobin, erythrocytes, and hematocrit as well as serum iron, ferritin, and transferrin saturation have significantly increased. 7 women (15.6%) have reported on adverse effects (i.e., constipation and obstructed defecation). Treatment was generally well tolerated thus providing good adherence to therapy. Therefore, in pregnant women with IDA Tardyferon improves blood count a nd results in clinical improvement.     Grotesque Realism in O.V Vijayan’s The Saga of Dharmapuri

    The Saga of Dharmapuri by O.V. Vijayan is a dystopian fantasy set in the imaginary country of Dharmapuri, which could be a depiction of India or any other newly independent country in the post-colonial era. Mikhail Bakhtin in his treatise Rabelais and his World (1965) justifies the use of Grotesque Realism, a literary trope that allows the author to move away from the conventions of propriety and decency to convey messages that are real and powerful nevertheless. Usually exaggeration and hyperbole are key elements of this style. Through the centuries, literature has often been a medium through which contemporary concerns have been transmitted. This paper argues that O.V. Vijayan uses Grotesque Realism in his novel to depict the political, social and economic condition of India of the 1970s- specifically a country that was under emergency. Like all dystopian fables, The Saga of Dharmapuri has been prophetic in anticipating some of the social issues that we face even today.     SUBSTANTIATION OF TECHNOLOGY AND QUALITY EVALUATION OF SOYA-MUSHROOM FUNCTIONAL FOODS

    Production of foods for functional nutrition is one of the most perspective directions of development of food industry now. The goal of our research is scientific substantiation of technological approaches to obtaining combined functional foods prepared with the use of plant raw materials which grow in the Far East such as soya and mushrooms. The research results enable us to develop the technology of preparation of functional foods on the basis of compatibility and complementarities of the component composition of raw material in the form of pastes and concentrates, as well as to get mathematical models of preparation process of soya-mushroom foods. By means of these models parameters and modes of preparation of combined disperse systems have been justified: mass fraction of ascorbic acid solution is 14.7%, concentration of ascorbic acid is 6.2% and duration of clot formation is 4.8 minutes, while the optimum temperature for clot formation is 66°С; initial moisture of clot is 41.4%, drying temperature of granules is 66°С, drying time of granules is 64 minutes, thus, hardness of the obtained granules is provided within 91%. The research has shown that consumption of the developed foods raise the possibility to meet daily requirements of people in vitamins С, Е, РР, minerals - potassium, phosphorus, as well as dietary fibers that confirms their functional properties. The normative-technical documentation in the form of the organization standard and technological instructions for the production of soya-mushroom paste and concentrate has been developed on the basis of obtained results. New foods can be produced at food-service enterprises and food-concentrates producing plants

    The Concept of the Digital Play by S. Edwards in the Context of the Cultural-Historical Paradigm

    The article presents an analysis of the works of S. Edwards devoted to the development of a holistic concept of digital play in the tradition of the Cultural-Historical Scientific School. The main difficulties are connected with the transformation of the idea of mediation into the context of digital technologies. We analyzed the understanding of the idea of mediation in the works of L.S. Vygotsky, A.N. Leontiev, Y. Engestr&ouml;m\. On the basis of the studies of O.K. Tikhomirov, O.V. Rubtsova, S.A. Smirnov, G. R&uuml;ckriem and studied how the concept of mediation can be transformed in the era of digital technologies. We also analyzed the transformation of the key concepts of the cultural-historical psychology in the works of S. Edwards, such as children's play. The contemporary children's play reflects the processes of digitalization and cultural globalization of contemporary childhood. S. Edwards introduces the concept of convergent play as the leading activity of contemporary children. Convergent play is characterized by the blurring of boundaries between traditional and digital play and the integration of digital technologies into the daily lives of children. The author argues that it is necessary to create a holistic concept of digital play corresponding to the cultural-historical tradition.</p

При выборе сортового зерна сои на пищевые цели важную роль играют его технологические свойства. В статье представлены результаты исследований по оценке пригодности сои сортов Кружевница, Юрна, Персона и Интрига селекции ФГБНУ ВНИИ сои, предназначенных для переработки на пищевые цели. Определены органолептические показатели зерна исследуемых сортов и промежуточных продуктов - соевого «молока», коагулята и окары, выход готовой продукции, а также физические параметры (натура, вырав- ненность, крупность, масса 1000 зерен, величина набухания зерна). Прямого влияния физических параметров на качество и выход полученных промежуточных соевых продуктов не выявлено. Выход соевого «молока» из 100 г сои исследуемых сортов составил в пределах 14211448 г. Наибольший выход белкового коагулята установлен у сои сорта Юрна (209,0 г), окары - сорта Интрига (286,8 г). Из числа исследуемых сортов сои максимальную оценку по органолептическим показателям - 23,8 балла и по комплексному показателю качества продукта - 4,8 балла получили образцы соевого «молока», приготовленные из зерна сортов Юрна и Кружевница. Согласно данным показателям максимальным баллом оценены белковый коагулят, приготовленный из зерна сои сорта Кружевница, - соответственно 24,2 и 4,8 баллов, и соевая окара - из зерна сои сорта Интрига - 23,8 и 4,7 баллов. Согласно рейтинговой суммарной оценке, сорта сои Юрна и Кружевница отличались лучшими показателями качества. Проведенные исследования позволяют установить возможность подбора сортов зерна сои, обеспечивающих получение пищевых продуктов с заранее заданными технологическими свойствами. Using soybeans as a source of complete, high digestible vegetable protein in nutrition is justified by a good balance of amino acid composition and its availability. The choice of a soybean variety for food purposes depends mainly on its technological properties. The article presents the results of the studies on the assessment of the suitability of soybean varieties (Kruzhevnitsa, Yurna, Persona and Intriga) of the FSBSI ARSRI breeding of Soybean, intended for processing for food purposes. The organoleptic indicators of studied varieties of soybean grain and intermediate products - soy «milk», coagulate and okara, finished product yield, and also its physical parameters: nature, uniformity, fineness, mass of 1000 grains, grain swelling size were defined. A direct impact of the physical parameters on a quality and yield of the obtained intermediate soy products was not revealed. The yield of soy «milk» from 100 g of soybean of the studied varieties was in the range of 1421-1448 g. The maximum yield of the protein coagulate was found in the soybean variety Yuma (209,0 g), the maximum yield of okara - in the soybean variety Intriga (286,8 g). From the studied varieties, the highest organoleptic score of 23.8 points and the maximum number of points of the complex product quality indicator - 4.8 were obtained by soy «milk» samples, prepared from the grain of soybean varieties Yuma and Kruzhevnitsa. According to these indicators, the protein coagulate, prepared from a grain of soybean variety Kruzhevnitsa was maximum estimated at 24.2 and 4.8 points, and the soybean okara, prepared from the grain of soybean variety - Intriga, which gained 23.8 and 4.7 points, respectively. In accordance with the total rating score, the soybean varieties Yurna and Kruzhevnitsa showed the best quality indexes. The carried out research established the selection possibility of soybean grain varieties, which provide obtaining food products with predetermined technological properties
