Revista Littera em foco: linha do tempo e diálogos para o nascimento e a continuidade
No full textThe present essay aims to trace the path from birth to the present day of the Littera magazine and its relationship with the Language course at the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA), and with the history of Brazilian periodicals as dissemination channels of Brazilian scientific production. We understand the magazines as socio-historically situated statements, which are born and maintained amidst a series of tensions relating to the production and dissemination of scientific knowledge at the university. In this sense, we ask: How did Littera magazine come about in the midst of the history of national periodicals? How does this birth and its continuity to the present day dialogue with the history and advances of the Language course at UFMA? To answer this question, we carried out a bibliographical survey on the history of the periodicals, a documentary survey of the Littera magazine and interviews with editors who have been in charge of the magazine since its first edition until the present day.O trabalho em questão tem como objetivo traçar o percurso de nascimento até os dias atuais da revista Littera e sua relação com o curso de Letras, da Universidade Federal do Maranhão (UFMA), e com a história dos periódicos brasileiros enquanto canais de divulgação da produção científica brasileira. Compreendemos as revistas como enunciados sócio-historicamente situados, que nascem e se mantém em meio a uma série de tensões referentes à produção e difusão do conhecimento científico da universidade. Nesse sentido, interrogamos: Como se deu o nascimento da revista Littera em meio a história dos periódicos nacionais? Como esse nascimento e sua continuidade até os dias atuais dialogam com a história e os avanços do curso de Letras, da UFMA? Para responder essa questão fizemos um levantamento bibliográfico sobre a história dos periódicos, levantamento documental da revista Littera e entrevista com editores que estiveram à frente da revista desde sua primeira edição até os dias atuais
